Final Smash Gun Ship/Hyper Boots

Zero Suit Samus makes her third appearance as a playable character to the Super Smash Bros. franchise in Super 5mash Bros. 5. She originally debuted as a character connected to Samus from Super Smash Bros. Brawl and was available after performing the Zero Laser. She gained her own character spot in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. She uses her Jet Boots, Plasma Whip, and Paralyzer. Aesthetically, she appears much like her model from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.

Changes from SSB4

Custom 2 Low Kick 4% (footstool), 8% (clean kick), 6% (late kick) Jumps less high but has more horizontal traveling distance.

Special Custom Set B

Name Damage Description
Neutral Special Secondary Fire 7% (uncharged), 13% (charged) Zero Suit Samus activates her Secondary Fire option which she charges a ball of plasma. Charging it increases the range and damage. She then fires it slightly upwards which travels and then arcs back down. It will explode it plasma energy when it hits an opponent.
Custom 1 Secondary Burst 6% (uncharged), 10% (charged), 3% (shock uncharged), 5% (shock charged) It flies further than the default but does less damage. When it lands, it will release a spark that continues for some time. Opponents who step on this spark are damaged slightly and hit stun. The spark lasts 5 to 7 seconds; depending how long it was charged.
Custom 2 Secondary Blast 10% (uncharged), 18% (charged) Pressing the special button once charges the attack. Pressing it again fires it. It charges longer and is a slower projectile but it has a wide blast radius and does more damage.
Side Special Boost Dash Kick 9% (clean), 6% (late) Zero Suit Samus dashes forward; propelled by her jet boots. She then kicks forward; dealing damage while in the air. She then lands but slides slightly as she lands. Opponents are hit vertically during the attack and horizontally at the end.
Custom 1 Boost Drill Kick 3.5% (per hit) Zero Suit Samus dashes forward but, instead of a regular kick, she spins while moving; dealing damage and pushing back opponents as she travels forward.
Custom 2 Boost Reverse Kick 12% (clean), 9% (late) Zero Suit Samus boosts backwards and then turns to kick as she travels back. It does more damage but has longer ending lag.
Up Special Hover Boots 0% Zero Suit Samus uses her boots to boost herself slightly into the air. Pressing up special boosts her upwards and she has up to 6 boosts. She can hold down the special button for a continuous boost but that depletes it quicker. If attacked, she falls into a helpless state but, while using the boots, she can attack out of it.
Custom 1 Meteor Hover Boots 10% Instead of doing zero damage, it causes a meteor to opponent below her when she ignites the boots. It doesn't do any damage for continuous boots. It also propels her slightly higher into the air. However, she only has 4 uses from it.
Custom 2 Burnin' Hover Boost 1.5% (per hit) Instead of boosting upwards by pressing the special button, it will ignite the boots and pressing special again stops it. When ignites, it is capable of burning enemies below Zero Suit Samus.
Down Special Lash 7% (clean), 10% (throw) 2% (late), Zero Suit Samus lashes out with her Plasma Whip. If it hits clean, it grabs the opponent and flings them the opposite direction with high damage and knockback. If it his late, it doesn't grab them and just does hitstun. The sweetspot for grabbing it right when it snaps and she yanks it back. It can be used as a tether recovery.
Custom 1 Electrocution Lash 14% (clean), 4% (late), Stronger and just as quick but it doesn't catch opponents but instead; electrocutes them sending them high into the air.
Custom 2 Reflecting Lash 4% (melee), 2x (reflect) Does the same amount of damage but the player can influence where the beam will travel by tilting the control stick. As a result, it will launch players instead of doing hitstun.

Final Smash

Name Damage Description

Final Smash 2 Hyper Boots 4% (first kick), 13% (kick combos), 4% (launch), 18% (spike), 6% (impact), 20% (boot impact) Zero Suit Samus unlocks her Jet Boots which cause them to shine and emit energy. She then launches forward and does a time-stopping kick which freezes the opponents. She then performs a series of kicks and then launches the opponent into the sky.
