Zelda Chronicles: The Search for Light, known more commonly as Zelda Chronicles, is a role-playing video game developed by Lightning Studios and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube video game console. Its graphics and general style are similar to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, although the storyline and general content are much darker.
The gameplay in Zelda Chronicles borrowed some elements from The Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition, while still making several changes to fit the game's unique style. It should be noted that at times, control may be transfered over to the Nintendo DS Nintendo Wii (see "SwiftSwitch" for details) to advance the plot, and to obtain certain Specialty Items. Zelda Chronciles is the first game to utilize the SwiftSwitch system.
The player is able to control two main protaginists (Link and Zelda) in seperate storylines. The two meet only briefly late in the game. After they meet, the storyline goes to
The game is divided into 2 "chapters", in which only one character is playable. The first chapter is from Zelda's point-of-view, while the second is from Link's point-of-view.
