Yume is a white kitten sorcerer who resides on a tropical island inhabited by and is the forth partner in Paper Mario: Prophecy of the Arts.

Appearance[]

Yume has white fur with a soft, flat face and light greenish-yellow eyes. She wears a short brown shoulder cloak, red buttoned tunic with olive sleeves, blue shorts, and brown shoes.

Personality[]

Yume is commonly quiet and gentle compared to the other cats, though she can be very shy when encountering new faces. As a magic apprentice, she is really interested in not only magic but sailing to other islands to discover more kinds of it. That being said, she prefers solitude but is considered friendly.

During the journey, she soon gains affection towards the group but still wonders about her own goal. Yume also has a few feelings towards Pengrin, but often hides it throughout each chapter.

History[]

With her mom dying in an earthquake, Yume had always lived with her dad, aunt, and four siblings. Despite being a white cat, she was extremely interested in magic and decided to study it. She was especially interested in witchcraft and alchemy, in which she used to her advantage.

  • She was originally a protagonist for a unused game by Intelligent Systems but was scrapped deep in the Korean version of Super Paper Mario.
