Yoshi's Island Omega is a 3D remake of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the Wii U as part of the Super Mario Omega series. It was released in 2015 and has a large number of differences from the original and the GBA version surrounding gameplay, storyline, content and graphics, and features.

Plot

The game follows the same story as its predecessors in which Yoshi and Baby Mario must save Baby Luigi after he is kidnapped by Kamek. However, there's a new twist that after the Giant Baby Bowser was defeated, adult Bowser came in to challenge Yoshi, similar to the past Yoshi titles (except Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island).
