Whirlipede is a Bug/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation 5. It's the evolved form of Venipede, and it further evolves into Scolipede.

Basic info[]

Based on a pillbug, Whirlipede is the cocoon form of Generation 5's obligatory early-stage bug. However, it's not a cocoon like Metapod or Kakuna...it's still very much capable of attacking, and its movepool isn't much different from that of its other evolutions.

  1. Was apparently Quick Feet in Generation 5, but I don't think any Whirlipedes exist that actually had this ability.
