The VolvaNova is a handheld device mainly designed for developmental and concept purposes to showcase Cogshift Studios' new Ultrascope, an ultra-sensitive gyroscope that, in conjunction with its face tracking, allows the device to modify its orientation to be optimal for the user no matter how it is turned. The device is housed within a square body and features a touch screen that allows the user to interact with Android v4.4.4, an outdated operating system that has been optimized for the device with many modifications compared the Cogshift Studios' previous Android releases for the AptaNova and GigaNova.
The VolvaNova was described at its press event as the direction Cogshift Studios plans to take with mobile technology, and it was stated that developers better adapt to its form factor quickly before it takes over the mobile market. However, since then, the public has not seemed very enthusiastic about Cogshift Studios' plan.
To be continued.
