Well, with Meta Knight now confirmed, I thin knows a good time to redo my redo of newcomer predictions.
Here's some clarification; at the rate we are going, we will probably get five more newcomers. We could get four, but five seems good enough. Before I start my actual predictions, I want to list the characters that are requested but won't be in.

Typical Mario Characters | One of the things that really annoy me is when people request Waluigi or Toad. While I don't mind these characters in the game, they would just not work. | How would there Movesets work? (Other than moves based off of sports games) |

Tails | While I would love to see Tails, or any other Sonic character, in game, how would they be in compare to some better characters? | We don't need two Sonic characters. Or at least not now. |
Newcomer Contenders[]
Ok, so I am listing a ton of possible contenders for the next game. I will list every contender, than I will say, in my opinion, what five characters from the list are most likely.

Bowser jr. | While this isn't too likely, as we already have a Mario newcomer, but if we did get him the fans would eat it up. Unlike other Mario characters, like Waluigi, his move possibilities can fill up five different sets of moves. |

Ghirahim | My biggest fear for SSB4 is that Ganondorf won't return. With that said, if we did see the removal of Ganon, Ghiraham will be perfect to replace him. He'd be so cool to use. (I still prefer Skull Kid though) |

Bandanna Deeeeee | I think that such a popular series like Kirby would have more reps. Bandanna Dee is the best contender for it. He is popular, relevant, and would pack a punch. |

Magolor | Now, if Bandanna Dee weren't the newcomer for Kirby, Magolor would be the perfect contender. He has all sorts of magic and tricks to fight. Perfection! I think that they would have to choose between him and Bandanna Dee. |

Dixie Kong | The one character I'm sure will be included is Dixie Kong. She is relevant, and plus she was beta in brawl. Villager and Mii were also beta, and now they're here. So she's definitely here. |

Marshal/Chorus Kids | Marshal is also a great contender. If you didn't know yet, a rhythm heaven enemy was seen in Smash Run. Didn't Sakurai say that if a series' enemy is included, then there would be a rep from that series? |

Sceptile | This is an obvious one. I've noticed that each game brings two Pokemon newcomers. We already have Greninja, so why not add Sceptile. This does NOT mean I want the Fire-Water-Grass thing. I just really think he is a likely contender. Plus, it'd be cool to see a rep to represent OR/AS. |

Geno | If they brought back Geno in the form of a fighter, it would be the PERFECT comeback. (From the pir-fect RPG) |

Yoshi | Yoshi NEEDS more reps. The most likely contender is definitely Kamek. He's the main villain of the Yoshi series, and he's such an interesting character that he needs to be in. |

Shulk | This one is obvious. Popularity, relevance, Gematsu leaks... How could he not be in? |
Final Predictions[]
So which five of the ten possible contenders are most likely?
The obvious ones are Dixie Kong and Marshal, with the former being the most likely contender throughout the entire development and the latter being represented already by a Smash Run enemy. I'm sticking with the accuracy of the Gematsu leaks and saying Shulk is in too.
The others are less obvious. If my Pokemon theory is true, than Sceptile would be the fourth rep. The last one is the hardest. I'd cut it down to Kamek and Bandanna Dee.
As for the four others, Geno is probably not going to happen, and Ghiraham would ONLY be in if Ganon is gone, which I find unlikely. Magolor is probably better off as an Assist Trophy (or maybe a stage boss for an unconfirmed Kirby stage!), and Bowser Jr. is more of a hope than an actual prediction.
Based on the likeliness, I think Bandanna Dee will finish the roster off. So the five newcomers yet to be confirmed are Dixie Kong, Marshal, Shulk, Sceptile, and Bandanna Dee.
