I, SpooksMaster88 am running for sysop. As I DO have some experience of being a sysop before (on other wikis) I want to make the wiki the best I can!!
Banning[]
Easily, the ban system works in a "three-strike rule" (I'm guessing, someone correct me if I'm wrong), and I think a two-strike would work better. Strike 1: A warning that explains what the user is doing and that they should stop. If they don't stop, Strike 2 will be placed, stating that the user did not follow the following warning and they will be banned for a Week-Month (depending on crime) after which they will be allowed to edit again. If they do it again, they will skip Strike 1, but instead go to Strike 1.5: Explaining to them what happened and that they are banned for yet another week-month, with this continued.
Every banned user will then have a Probation File, which will be sysop-protected and have all crimes, bans, and archives of themselves. All probation files will be found at a special page (something like Fantendo: Probation).
Deletion[]
I plan on deleting EVERY page within the "To Be Deleted" category. I will plan on checking the category once a week and delete as much as possible. Hopefully other sysops will too.
Flame Wars[]
Flame Wars tend to be a very common thing on Fantendo, and I have a solution. Every time a [major] flame war is started, the users involved (besides people trying to calm the situation down) will be banned for a single day. Every time this happens, they will have to think about their consequences, making flame wars less common.
Abandoned Pages[]
As the abandoned pages are left abandoned for large amounts of time, without ever being noticed, all pages will have a template on them that lists all the current pages that are abandoned.
Also, if abandoned pages are left abandoned for up to 6 months, they will be deleted, right on the spot.
A vote for Spooks is a vote for chaos awesomeness, order and peace. I hope to work closely with the 'crats and the other sysops (and users) to bring the best that we can. I also would like to help work on the Featured Articles and many other projects. I will also revert the colours of the main page to the original (navy and silver) and will be really helpful.
I'll also open a dessert buffet full of everyone's favourite desserts!!
