Fantendo - Game Ideas & More

Ok so a while ago I wrote up this idea of a Zelda Game which re-unites the three timelines. Anyways this is the story, it is colossal. Please don't steal my idea as I am thinking of making a proper page.

Link is the Child of Draius who is King Dalanfos’ protector of Zelda. Draius brings Link to the Castle one day to meet King Dalanfos, who has had a dream of Link’s rise to duty. While Draius and King Dalanfos are talking to each other Zelda invites Link to follow her up to the tallest tower in the Castle, The Tower of Time. Upon reaching the top Zelda grabs the Ocarina of Time of its Pedestal, at that exact moment a screeching cry is heard in the Palace room. Anxious about what may have happened Zelda tells Link to investigate what is going on, players may notice at this point Link has no shadow oddly. Upon reaching the Throne Room Link finds Draius knocked out and King Dalanfos dead while a Dark Link stands staring at Link. The Dark Link runs towards the Temple where Link pursues. Upon reaching the Temple Link finds Dark Link to have taken the all the ancient artefacts of the previous heroes of Courage (The Master Sword, Silver Arrows, Wind Fish’s Ocarina, Majora’s Mask, Rod of Seasons, Harp of Ages, Four Sword, Wind Waker, Ancient Trident, Ezlo’s Soul (Minish Cap), Mirror of Twilight, Phantom Hourglass, Lokomo Sword, Spirit Flute and the Goddesses’ Harp). The Dark Link then takes a portal to another Dimension. Link attempts to follow but is stopped by Zelda explaining to him that the Portal only leads to Darkness. Zelda then explains to the player that they must set out and recover the artefacts or Armageddon will begin.

The player’s first goal is to retrieve the Lokomo Sword otherwise the Demon Malladus is told to escape again. Link travels throughout the different environments of New Hyrule fighting Gohma in the Dark Jungle, Havarn on top of Mt. Chilldon, Beljark in the Night Palace, Ivranoo on the Border between New Hyrule and the Great Sea, Krynisqu in the Frozen Tomb, Agrvanx at the Hero’s Cave in New Hyrule Field and Lesronne who tests Link’s knowledge of the Sword in the Lokomo Tower. Finally Link reaches Dark Link who abruptly launches himself at the Lokomo Tower causing its collapse. After an earthquake Link awakens to find Malladus summoning a storm in the top of the Hyrule Castle, Link arrives to find Malladus has possessed Zelda and Link fights and is able to channel the energy of the Lokomo Sword (Protected by Krynisqu) into Malladus causing him to disappear. Zelda thanks Link but warns him Malladus would return as the Lokomo sword is not a full power since the destruction of the Lokomo Tower.

Zelda later gives link access to the Great Sea by finding a Map of the Great Sea in the 10F of the Royal tombs below Hyrule Castle.  Link also finds a message left by the Link of Spirit Tracks which read “If this map is found by another hero of Courage it means that the final fight has begun, they will all return to fight…” Zelda tells Link she will find out who “they” are while link finds the Phantom Hourglass, necessary to restore the Lokomo Tower. Link ventures off into the Great Sea in which while looking for the Phantom Hourglass finds Drainoise in Ganon’s Fort, Hexronax within the depths of the sunken Tower of the Gods, Dodongo in the East side of Mt. Doom, Byranzine inside the Hollow Island, Peloom at the Peak of the Western Trial, Jorinvaah within Deku Woods, Ibinx after crashing into the Fog Peninsula and Zarnox on top of the Eastern Trial. After completing the two trials Link finds the Ghost Ship has returned and Link must first severely damage the Ship and then Board it. After getting inside Link finds the Phantom Hourglass however must find a new way out as he had fallen through the multiple levels of the Deck. Upon reaching the top level he finds Bellum who had known of Link’s presence since entering the Great Sea. Link is thrown into the Bottom deck by Bellum’s force and engages Battle. Upon defeating Bellum’s Phantom form Bellum is stabbed by the Lokomo sword which absorbs Bellum’s evil and turns the Ghost ship into the access to Old Hyrule.

Link exits the now Temple of Bellum to find Draius, his father has sailed out to find him, Link gives Draius the Phantom Hourglass who tells Link that Zelda reported a recovery in the Lokomo Tower. Link then is told by Draius to return to New Hyrule as new floors in the Royal tombs have become accessible. Link returns to receive two items. The first is the Ocarina of Time from Zelda who explains it will allow Link to Travel from New Hyrule’s Castle to the Temple of Time in Old Hyrule, after reaching the 20F of the Royal tombs Link discovers another message left by the Link of Phantom Hourglass which read “The Great Sea is the barrier against them… descend to the old it will show the way”, still stumped by the term “them” Zelda explains that is may be referring to the Evil spirits previous Links have defeated in battle. Link then goes to the Depths of Old Hyrule with Draius and a Legion of Knights. Upon reaching Old Hyrule they find everything is frozen in Time and no doors will open, however Link is then telepathically messaged by Zelda who had found three songs “Minuet of Forest, Bolero of Fire and Serenade of Water” each song allows Link to travel to different sections of Hyrule but is unable to Access; Kakiriko Village, Gerudo Desert, Castle Town and Old Hyrule Field. Link then proceeds to encounter protectors of the Stone of Wind who each unfreeze upon Link removing each Stone from its pedestal. These protectors are Yavrose who is found deep within The Great Deku Tree, Habonorc who attacks the Temple of Time, Krivinox who is found in the depths of the Water Temple, Kyrisius which is in the Ice Cavern accessed by a tunnel at Lake Hylia, Gavrosx who is found atop the Forest Temple, Barinade-Z who is reincarnated by Dark Link in the Water Temple, Quiarlann who is found around Dodongo Cavern in Mt. Doom and Ibansorn who protects the final piece inside Mt. Doom’s Volcano. Finally Link obtains the last Stone component and brings them back to Draius who positions them onto the Pedestal of Time opening the Door of Time where they find The Four Sword. Zelda tells Link something is wrong since the Master Sword should be in the stone. Link walks into the room and is suddenly locked in by Dark Link who tells Link to be prepared. Dark Link than proceeds to pull the Four sword from the Pedestal, Link readies his sword but a huge gust of Wind and Darkness shroud the room and upon the Darkness clearing Link finds a Giant Tower has appeared in front of him, Link has no choice but to ascend the tower and finds Dark Link there who has placed the Four Sword in the middle of the room, Link is the pulled towards it by Dark Link and is then electrocuted by the sword allowing Vaati to escape. Dark Link then leaves a weakened Link to fight Vaati in his Sorcerer form. Upon defeat Vaati teleports away and vows revenge, soon after Zelda tells Link that he needs to get out of the tower. Link escapes the tower just prior to it collapsing. Due to the tower’s great height a single droplet of water falls down from the great sea touching the rock meant to hold the Master Sword. This sets off a massive energy surge awakening living beings in Old Hyrule, The water above old Hyrule now disappears and a giant wall surrounds Old Hyrule making living again.

Link and Draius step outside to find Castle town is now active again but is full of Redeads. After fighting off a horde that attempts to take over the Temple of Time Link successfully protects Castle Town, unfortunately one Redead within the Temple of Time attacks Draius who to avoid further chance of infliction locks himself in a room where Link and the other Knights watch as Draius is turned into a Redead himself incorporating the Mask of the Redead who attacked him. Byross who is the second in command informs Zelda what has happened. Zelda replies telling Link that only the purest memory of Draius can cure this situation. Zelda returns Link to New Hyrule and Links delves deeper into the Royal tombs now down to the 40th Floor Link discovers the tomb of the Four Sword Link who leaves a message “The Dream Plane is where safety is, De… is king, beware!” Zelda believes that the unreadable text says “Death” informing Link to be on highest alert while looking for a way to get to the Dream Plane. Link returns to Old Hyrule to find Kakiriko Village, Castle Town, Goron City, Zora Palace and Kokiri Woods have all been inhabited by Hylians, Gorons, Zora (From a Western Ocean) and Koroks each one intrigued by the lifestyle of the Old. Link during this time travels to find the three fighters who had knowledge of the Dream World, he encounters Dragoon first in the Gerudo Desert deep within the Spirit Temple who after fighting tells Link of the Corruption of Magic that Old Hyrule faces, after this Link finds Ebonzine in the Thunder Cave in centre of Hyrule Field who after agreeing to tell information about the Dream world engages in an archery duel with Link who has become equipped with Fire, Ice and Shock Arrows. Link is then told that the Dream World had been visited by a hero like Link and defeated a great evil to help an old Fish. She also tells Link that the third member of their group has become corrupt and no longer sees the Light of Truth. Link travels deep under the Well of Kakiriko Village into a passage of the Shadow Temple and after passing assorted traps and obtaining the Lens of Truth and Hover Boots Link encounters Uligna who furious by Link’s presence attacks in a massive blinding way. Link counters this and eventually causes Uligna to fall to his knees. He does not reveal any knowledge of the Dream World and then gets up but before attacking Link is stopped by Dragoon and Ebonzine who hold him back, they then tell Link to attach the Lens of Truth to Uligna and stop the chaos. Link does so and after a large cloud of darkness exits Uligna’s body he warns Link that he was possessed by a Nightmare and directs Link’s attention to a Wizard covered in Darkness. This new evil attacks Link who with assistance from the three Fighters is able to send this evil back to the Dream Plane, Link follows after being told it is the only entrance to the realm

Link arrives to find a twisted world full of familiar enemies but knows it all to be a dream. Link is now no longer able to communicate with Zelda but instead is communicated by the first Link to enter the Dream Plane (Link’s Awakening) after defeating Nordawn in the Hero’s Chamber. This Link tells Link where each strong presence of Nightmare is and leads Link to fight the Stalfos King in the Bone Palace, Blazoward atop Tal-Tal Heights, Angrole within Angler’s Cavern, Evil Orb who tests the two Link’s in the Ghostly Dungeon, Slorxic who has taken over Catfish Maw, Origle in Eagle’s Tower and the Colossal Buzz Blob found in the Tabahl Wasteland. After hunting down each nightmare the Links arrive at the Darkness Pit where the Dream Link believed the Wind Fish Egg was going to be. After working through this labyrinth the Links encounter Dethl who cuts the Dream Link from Link causing the field to change to Dethl’s whim. Upon defeat in his True form Dethl the Player will find the Hero’s Mind a small set of rooms each one containing different memories. The Northern-most room holds the Player’s strongest memory of Draius which upon removing from its place turns the room very dark and then teleports Link out also giving him the Wind Fish’s Ocarina. Link then returns to the temple of time and after convincing Byross to allow him to see Draius, Link heals Draius who thanks Link and proclaims Link the Master Hero. Zelda then tells Link to give Byross the Wind Fish’s Ocarina and Byross then sets back to New Hyrule.

Zelda then tells Link that Dark Link was sighted in Old Hyrule using the Rod of Seasons and Harp of Ages. Link then follows Dark Link’s trail of destruction finding the Chu-Chu Beast in Kokiri Woods, Grozand in Hyrule Field, Igroxan within the Goron City, Night-Rose out at Lake Hylia and Handrose in the Zora Palace. After defeating Handrose, Link finds a message explaining that Skull-Cross, Night-Rose’s Husband wants revenge and captured Portkase who is the only way to access Labrynna or Holodrum. Link meets Skull-Cross in the Sunken Ship below Lake Hylia. After Skull-Cross’ defeat Link finds Portkase who begs to be freed. Portkase then attacks Link but is unsuccessful and after being chased by Link through the Ship is cornered and resorts to Teleporting to Holodrum however Link grabs Portkase at the last moment and Portkase ditches Link during the travel and Link lands in Labrynna which has fallen into chaos thanks to Veran being resurrected by Dark Link.

Link proceeds to defeat the guards of the Harp’s Strings to able to fight Veran. Each guard is found protecting 1 or 2 of the strings. Link first encounters Jironix deep within Poe Crypt who is using the first string to reanimate all the dead in the area. The second boss Mothula is found in the Forest of Time’s Sanctuary where it has used its String of the Harp to mutate all the insects and flora of the forest into horrible beasts. The next holder of the Strings is Wernverm who is on the Crescent Island and is using its first Harp String to turn the Tokays and other island’s life evil and the second string is used to turn the island into a desert. The final boss Link will fight holding strings of Ages are Volanz who is found in the Black Tower Ruins. Volanz uses his two strings of Ages to burn the surrounding terrain and also to turn villagers into Moblins. After defeating Volanz an earthquake occurs and the Black Tower rises up from the ground. After this Link will climb the tower to find a resurrected Veran who is protecting the rest of the Harp. Link must face all forms of Veran to recover this part.

After this encounter and Veran once again buried in the destroyed Tower Link will see Portkase among the rubble. Portkase will engage in another battle to test Link’s Power and after being defeated will retreat again, this time to Holodrum. Link follows now hunting the parts for the Rod of Seasons. Upon arriving Link will find Impa who informs Link about each of the evils plaguing Holodrum. Link’s first task is to go to the Temple of Seasons where Quibanx is attempting to sink it down into Subrosia. After defeating the Bear, Link must now travel to the Spool Swamp where he will be battered by powerful autumn winds and Thunderstorms. Eventually Link will find that Moldorm is causing this destruction by controlling the autumn component of the Rod of Seasons. By defeating Moldorm the clouds covering Spool Swamp will clear and Link will be told by Impa to head to Sunken City where intense heat is turning the land into a desert. Upon arriving Link will find a large canyon formation where the Sunken City once was. After finding the entrance to the buried Pyramid Link will have to fight Lock-Lance who has taken all the water to suffice for its own desires. After the battle Link will receive the Component for summer however Impa will inform Link that an unspeakable force has caused a Blizzard on Goron Mountain. Impa also warns Link that Gorons when cold are highly agitated. After calming the Gorons and freeing Biggoron of his Icy Trap Link is permitted into the Heated Shrine where he finds Freezane who wields the Component for winter in his sword. After winning the battle Link will watch as the Onox’s Castle will descend into Subrosia, this allows Link to travel to Subrosia and find Onox who protects the spring component of the Rod of Seasons. After defeating Onox and his Dark Dragon form Link is once again encountered by Portkase who begs for mercy explaining to Link he was serving under Zelda’s command. Link and Portkase then travel back to Old Hyrule where and tunnel has opened up this tunnel as explained by Draius leads to Termina where Link can find Majora’s Mask.

Link starts his journey through the Badlands and encounters the 5 gatekeepers of the tunnel. Xevine, Noisdrin, Kingoblin, Bryusus and Regoppe each challenge Link to battle and warn Link of the inevitable doom of all Lands. Link than encounters the Wind Sorcerer Vaati again who fights Link at the Termina Tower. Link defeats Vaati again who scorns Link for trying to stop the destruction. Vaati leaves and drops the Minish Cap as acknowledgement of Link’s victory. Draius meets up with Link who tells Link to be careful in Termina as it is in danger of Majora’s Wrath again. Link then hands the Rod of Seasons, Harp of Ages and Minish Cap to Draius who has them sent to Zelda. Link then travels to the entrance of Termina.

Upon arriving in Termina, Link is shocked to find the land is ravaged and severely damaged. Link enters Clock Town to find most inhabitants dead. Link then is contacted by Zelda who sends him the Ocarina of Time. She tells Link only to use it once the evil has been rid from Termina. Link then begins his journey in Termina by first travelling to Zora Beach where the Zoras of Termina have prepared to march on Clock Town. Link finds out that their King has been assassinated and agrees to find the assassin if they delay the invasion. Link finds a far off island which houses Grandzor who reveals him to be the assassinator of the Zora King. Link then attacks Grandzor who acts pleased throughout the battle noting that Link fights with anger even though he hardly knew the King. Link defeats Grandzor who tells Link of the starvation of the Deku people. Link tells the Zora Prince about the defeat of Grandzor and the Prince agrees to stop the invasion. With the Zora Beach now peaceful again Link travels to the Deku Marsh to find many Dekus starved and the King nearly out of breath. The King Deku tells Link to find his daughter who is the only one supposedly capable of reviving the Deku people. Link looks across the Marsh and finds a mysteriously healthy tree which upon further inspection was the entrance to the hideout of Bulranz the bull who kidnapped the Princess. After defeating Bulranz who pleads for Link to leave him is as he too is also starved, Link brings the Deku Princess back to the Deku Palace where she and Link watch as the Deku King dies in his throne. The Princess then takes her father’s seat and connects with the throne causing her to fuse with it. She rejuvenates the land and thanks Link for rescuing her before becoming encased in wood. Link then gets a message from one of the Deku guards who explain while on patrol he saw water flooding Snowhead. When Link arrives he finds the place has become a Lake and the Gorons who lived there have become ill due to the contaminated water. Link is informed by multiple Gorons that the disease originated from the beast of the Lake and that the beast protects the cure. Link ventures into the lake with the newly acquired Filter Breather and after a watery labyrinth Link finally reaches the centre of Snowhead as well as Harlob who greets Link by asking Link if he too feels ill. After noticing Link’s good health Harlob becomes outraged by being unable to complete his task and attacks Link who is able to counter Harlob and defeat him. Afterwards Link obtains the vial containing the Cure however the skeleton of Harlob attacks Link and causes Link to drop the vial which crashes onto the ground and breaks. Link watches as Harlob’s skeleton disintegrates and Link then gathers the one droplet left in the vial and pours it into the Lake which the Gorons all gather to and drink from the Lake which then drains itself back into the ocean. The Gorons thank Link and an elder tells him that in the Land of the dead is where his final challenge will be. Link heads to Ikana Valley where Link finds the land has a tribe living in it. At first the tribe do not talk to Link however after Link saves one of the younger tribe members from falling the Tribe’s leader tells Link that they were not always as they currently are. Link notices paintings of Stalchildren on the walls in the throne room. The Leader tells Link they are really Stalchildren trapped in life and wish to be free from it again. Link is then told to travel to the Stone Towers where after finding the burial ground of Twinmold, Link encounters Hyronsos who does not speak to Link but instead gestures to fight. Link defeats Hyronsos whose corpse contains the Key to the Clock Tower. Link returns to Clock Town and enters the Clock Tower to find the Skeleton of a traveller with a bag full of Masks. Link is then told by a voice to take 5 masks out. Link grabs the Deku Mask, Goron Mask, Zora Mask, Deity Mask and Majora’s Mask. The Majora’s Mask then suddenly reacts and disappears. Link exits Clock Tower to find everyone is alive but frightened by a moon crashing into Clock Tower. Link then watches as another Link ascends Clock Tower and summons four giants to help stop the moon. Link follows this other Link into the moon and watches as the other Link talks to a child wearing Majora’s Mask. The land around the three fades into darkness where the other Link disappears. Majora then starts talking to Link telling him that this is not Link’s mind but Majora’s. Link then engages Majora’s 6 forms with the first form testing Link’s courage then the next three forms requiring Link to don the Deku, Goron and Zora Mask. The Final two forms challenge Link to battle with immense power which Link struggles to oppress. Finally after defeating Majora’s Wrath Majora accepting defeat falls to the ground and reverts to mask form and Link is told by Zelda to use Majora’s Mask to heal Clock Town. Link does so by placing Majora’s Mask in the centre of the Clock and afterwards the mask teleports back to the Sanctuary. Link then returns to New Hyrule where more of the Royal Tombs have opened and after descending to the 75th Floor Link finds a message left by the Minish Cap Link which reads “Darkness has many forms the true darkness though is that which many have fought but never defeated” Zelda now understanding that the term “Them” was referring to previous attacks on the Triforce, Hyrule or any other land. Link and Zelda then are told by Draius to get out of Castle Town immediately. Link and Zelda get out only watching the town collapse on itself. Zelda is relieved to be told Draius evacuated the citizens to Old Hyrule. Zelda tells Link Malladus is likely to have escaped and begs Link to find any hints of Malladus. Link searches across New Hyrule fighting Batroxx in the Ice Region, Helmasaur King beneath the Great Pyramid, Recrenze in the Water Palace, Bihrahn in the underground Lokomo Tower section, Fedell who resides in the Forest Sanctuary and Pyranos in the Grand Volcano. After defeating each and recovering parts of the Spirit Flute Link plays the Spirit Flute and revives the Lokomo Tower. After ascending the Tower Link finds Malladus who attempts to possess Link but fails and instead goes to the Dark Realm where Link follows and fights the Demon Train who is eventually defeated and Malladus is destroyed by a combination of Light Arrows, the Lokomo Sword and the Sprit Flute.

Link then is abruptly taken to the Dark World by Agahnim who tells Link if he wishes to escape he must defeat the three trials and Agahnim himself. Link travels to the Swamp Palace to fight Arrghus, Thieves Town to destroy the Redead Mutant trying to escape and Halbronze in the Palace of Darkness. After defeating these three and recovering three elemental Amulets, Link can enter the Pyramid of Power’s based Floor and eventually fight Agahnim who after being defeated says that Link will be unable to continue his journey while he is too weak and sends Link back to Old Hyrule.

Link is then informed by Zelda that while he was gone Zant the usurper King had opened a Portal to Hyrule in Hyrule Field and was attempting to invade Hyrule. After helping the Hylian united Army to fend off Zant’s forces Zant retreats into the Twilight Realm where Link follows in hopes of recovering the Mirror of Twilight. Upon entering Link is greeted by a warped world where gravity does not always apply. Link travels to different parts of the Twilight Realm and fights Shadeetle in the Twilight Woods, Shadlem on the Shadow Mountain, Shadought who attempts to go through the portal to Hyrule, Shalawncer who attempts to open another portal in New Hyrule and Collosdo who resides on the Cold Fire Volcano. After defeating each Link goes to the Twilight Castle to confront Zant who engages Link using similar methods of fighting as the Twilit creatures he sent forth. After his defeat Zant himself becomes warped and eventually is crushed into oblivion. After this the Twilight Realm becomes normal again and Link returns successfully with the Mirror of Twilight which Zelda insists to be kept covered in case of cursing any inhabitants of Hyrule.

Link is once again taken from Old Hyrule by Agahnim who wants to test Link’s new abilities and forces Link to fight Dragonok on top of Tower Ruins Crescent in Skeleton Forest, Baloxane in the Lake of Ill Omen and Trinexx in Turtle Rock. After these defeats Agahnim acknowledges Link’s growth in strength and challenges Link to ascend new heights of the Pyramid Power. Link does so finding mysterious writing from the ancient Hylian language throughout multiple rooms and finally reaches the top of the Pyramid of Power to find a Ghost tower however before entering the Tower Link is stopped by Agahnim who causes the bottom section of the tower to disappear and challenges Link to another battle. Link defeats Agahnim but Agahnim disappears into a Pool of Darkness before Link could follow. Link now forced to climb the Ghost Tower reaches the Top to find Vaati waiting for him. Vaati demands revenge for his previous defeats and attacks Link in a raging fury. Link eventually prevails over Vaati who due to running out of magic and being unable to hold form anymore simply disintegrates before Link but as an act of humility and redemption opens a portal to Old Hyrule for Link hoping he will be forgiven one day.

Link returns to Old Hyrule and Zelda remarks that while investigating the Spirit Temple the Guards had accidentally summoned Twinrova while reading some ancient Hylian Language. Link sets back to Kakiriko Village where one of the guards was being held, however upon arriving Link will find Twinrova has resurrected Bongradom (Bongo-Bongo’s cursed form) and hidden the guard in the Shadow Temple. After once again descending through the Shadow temple Link defeats Bongradom and the Guard tells Link that each guard memorized one part of the spell used to destroy Twinrova for good. The First Guard tells Link a part of the Spell and Link then heads off to find the other guards who have been taken captive by Fezllando in Mt. Doom, Volandzarr in Gerudo Sinkhole, Jalhalla in the Forest Temple, Jabuna at Lord Jabu-Jabu’s Lake and Morpheel in Lake Hylia’s Sea Trench. Finally after connecting the spell together Link charges into the Spirit Temple where two ghostly spirits attempt to deter Link but eventually Link enters the main chamber where Twinrova challenges Link to a duel. The two ghostly spirits then angrily yell at Link as they needed Twinrova’s body to return to the Living world as Koume and Kotake. The two spirits are then vaporised by a bright light.

Link returns to Hyrule Castle to find Ganondorf has captured Zelda in a Crystal and knocked out Draius. Link infuriated by this tries to attack Ganondorf however is easily knocked away. Ganondorf comments saying he expected Link would to do better than their previous encounters making Link realise Ganondorf was also Agahnim. Ganondorf then uses the Master Sword and Link and Himself through time to when he ruled over Hyrule as the Prince of Darkness. Link follows the guidance of another Link (Original) and defeats Aquamentus, Dodongo, Manhandla, Gleeok, Digdogger, Crustogohma and Patra each in Castle-Like Caves across old Hyrule. Finally he reaches Ganondorf who fights Link in a room full of Darkness. Link succeeds in defeating Ganondorf who comments on his bravery and turns time back to the beginning. Link is then trapped by chains to a boulder and Ganondorf shows Link the events of Skyward Sword occurring and how Skyward Sword Link triumphed over Demise and explains how a hero set off this path to destruction. Link is then freed and told by Ganondorf if he wants to return to Zelda he must defeat Demise’s mind. Link then travels to Skyloft and fights Beroidius a Loftwing attempting to crash Skyloft into the ground. Afterwards Link travels to the young Hyrule and fights Kindwin in Farore Woods, Malagma on Eldin Volcano and Parzandore in Lanayru Desert. Lastly before his assault at the ancient ruins Link defeats Draeos who guards the key to unlocking the Ancient Ruins, The Goddesses’ Harp. Link then engages in battle with Demise who comments on how his power knows no bounds. Link eventually prevails after mastering the Skyward Strike.

Link then sees a Portal leading back to Old Hyrule and goes through however when Link arrives he realises that it is not Old Hyrule but another Realm. Ganondorf greats by welcoming him to the Ancient Realm used to harbour the forces of Evil. Link then attacked by Vaati who desires Link’s swift death however is easily defeated. Ganondorf then summons 3 towers surrounding a colossal Castle and tells Link if he wishes to see Zelda alive he would have to hurry. Link now travels to each tower to de activate its level of shielding. Link also encounters a Dark Watcher which Link discovers has been twisted by Ganondorf. Later he finds a Dark Guardian which is also twisted. Link then heads to the third tower and fights Titan who after battle congratulates Link and permits a portal to Old Hyrule from his throne Room. Draius the steps through the portal believing it to have been another attack, relieved Draius agrees to help Link by protecting Titan. Link then goes forth and enters the Colossal Castle and after 10 Floors fights Demise who seeks freedom for being trapped for so long. Next after another 10 Floors Ganondorf will challenge Link to a Sword Duel and after being defeated Ganondorf will give Link a Skull Key to allow him further access to the Castle. Link continues up until reaching the Throne Room of the Castle where he finds Zelda who is being possessed by Ganondorf. Link must then fight Zelda and eventually after excruciating amounts of blame Link finally prevails and Zelda is teleported higher up the Castle. Link then reaches a room filled with Fog and finds Malladus who attempts to kill Link by suffocating him however Link is able to repel Malladus’ attacks and defeat the Phantom. Link then travels further up until reaching a temple room where he fights Bellum who covers the Light source to the peak of the Castle. After this just before Link can continue Titan appears however he acts quite odd for a while until he turns to face Link where Majora’s Mask has replaced Titan’s face. Link engages in a battle with the trapped King. After being defeated Majora rips off of Titan’s face and shakes violently before eventually dying and turning into stone. Link now capable of going further is met up by Draius who has been captured by Vaati at the top floor. Vaati now uses all his forms in one battle against Link however even by his best efforts Vaati falls to Link and Draius is freed from his captor. Draius follows Link up the floating section of the castle. They reach the top floor to find Ganondorf and Demise awaiting them commenting that this battle will be easy against a hero and a fool, enraged by this Draius charges at Ganondorf who is caught off-guard and hit in the stomach and drops the Master Sword and Silver Bow. Draius and Link then ready for battle against Ganondorf and Demise. During the battle Ganondorf initially stays above the field firing a ring of electricity around the outside. Demise is then at that time distracted by Link while Draius fires Silver Arrows into Demise. Eventually Draius falls; Ganondorf shocked by this turn of events summons his trident and attacks Link who is protected by Draius who uses himself to shield Link. Draius falls and Ganondorf shove Draius’ body away. Link then uses the Triforce of Courage to summon a storm of Silver Arrows upon Ganondorf who is mortally wounded. Zelda is then at that time summoned by Ganondorf who drains most of her energy and channels it into his own however due to Zelda being pure of Mind Ganondorf is unable to contain the energy and becomes Ganon. Ganon then in a state of Power and Mind attacks Link. Link then begins to fight Ganon who proves to be immensely powerful. Before the battle begins Link is transported to Old Hyrule by the other Links who give him their powers for the battle and then send Link back. During the battle Link and Ganon fight each other across the different Links final battle locations. First Link is taken by Ganon to a sinking Castle in which Link must use the Wind Waker’s ghost as an archer to shoot Ganon in the back with the Silver Arrows. Ganon then shifts the stage again this time they are in a twisted world covered in masks, Ganon then summons four masks out from the room and they form the four bosses from Majora’s Mask and charge at Link. Link must time his attacks to shoot Ganon and all four masks at the same time, after this is repeated 3 times Ganon changes the area again. This time they are on top of a temple, Ganon grows four Giant Bat wings and proceeds to hover around the field occasionally attacking with a lightning ball attack. Link must find the four sword stones around the field and place them in the slots. Once this is done Link can summon the Four Sword and deal a powerful Sword Beam attack capable of damaging Ganon, after this is done however Ganon will strike the three fake links and launch the Four Sword stones away again. The next area they are taken to after being hit several times is a ship with a tower instead of the main mast. Ganon will fire Lightning balls down the tower as Link ascends the tower waiting for the attacks to pass through the windows of the tower, on the way up Link will also have to fend off Stalfos and Keese. Getting to the top Ganon will summon another tower and Link must ascend this one as well however a phantom Ganon is summoned and will float around the tower charging through it occasionally forcing Link to step back. After getting to the top of this tower and striking Ganon he will change the field once again. This time they are sent into a massive maze where Link must chase Ganon until eventually cornering him in which he will turn into a shadowy blob which Link must shoot the Silver arrows into. Ganon will then change into his Agahnim form and play Lightning Tennis with Link, finally changing into the Dethl form from Link’s awakening saying that Link will “never escape this nightmare” however after being knocked out by the Boomerang will change the field again. This time to another Castle however this time Ganon is accompanied by a Phantom Zelda and Shadow Ganon. The two will use their respective attacks however Shadow Ganon will charge through portals instead of paintings. Ganon will be in primordial beast form here and must be knocked over by Link activating Twilight Princess Link’s Wolf Form, attacking Ganon’s underside forces him to change arena again. The next area they are in is the Black Tower and Ganon is able to summon Giant Spiders, Wasps and Beetles to charge or attack Link. After being knocked down by the Silver Arrows however he will change into a Draconic form where he will attempt to swipe Link, Link must ascend Dragon Ganon’s body and reach the Triforce symbol on his head to make him fall. After this they are taken to a Pyramid where Ganon will let out a roar which summons a huge volcano and the entire Link to the Past bosses will appear. Link must first perform a charged Spin Attack to clear the Armos Knights, Lanmola will then appear out of the ground and Link must use the boomerang to knock the creature into one of the walls around the field however each one will be destroyed after Lanmola crashes into it. To take down Moldorm Link must use the Fire Arrows to burn its tail and then use Ice Arrows to blind it. To take down the Helmasaur King Link must use the Boomerang to distract the Helmasaur King then use the Bombs to take the creature down. Arrghus and Kholdstare will battle Link together using Ice and Poison attacks in synchronization. Link must use the Fire Arrows to melt Kholdstare and must use the Hookshot to launch Arrghus puffs back at it, causing damage. Mothula will descend from a volcanic ridge to confront Link. By using the Mega Beetle to clip its wings Link will be able to fight it in its worm form. Blind will show up as the Seven Maidens inside the volcano before turning into seven Blinds. Link must attack the Blinds in the order of the Maidens which are hinted when they turn into Blinds as they turn into Blinds in their order. Vitreous will appear next and will shift around the room making it more difficult for Link to take the smaller Eyes away. However Link is successful in this and eventually is able to kill the creature. Link will ascend to the top floor and find a large boulder with Ganon standing atop it. The boulder will shift however and reveal itself to be Trinexx, Ganon will then fly up and the two will begin attacking Link. Link must redirect Trinexx’s breathes at the opposite heads while redirecting its energy blast from the central head to Ganon. After Ganon begins to feel tired he will tear Trinexx’s shell off forcing the creature to slither around and charge into Link. Link must use the Pegasus Boots to charge into Trinexx so it lands on Ganon. Ganon will let out a roar launching Trinexx away and changing the field again. The third to last field is in a dungeon and Ganon will blow out all the torches making it impossible for Link to see Ganon until he is about to strike because Ganon’s Triforce will light up then. Link must use any fire based item to reignite the torches and then shoot a Silver Arrow at Ganon before he blows the torches out again. After this is repeated several times Ganon will run into the room behind the battlefield. Link follows and finds himself in a room with shallow water; Ganon is wielding Demise’s Sword as well as his own. He will attack with power and speed similar to Demise and Link must dodge, defend and eventually counter Ganon’s attacks forcing him to heel. However just before Ganon seems defeated he will change the area again and in a room which is a shattered combination of all previous arenas he will challenge Link. However one area is completely Black. Link will see the ghosts of each Link and DArk Link in the black area. The Ghost Link’s will offer their powers to Link (Original (Replenishes Silver Arrow Ammo Once), 2 (Replenishes Health Once), LttP (Double Damage Once), OoA/OoS (Change the Season (Summer increases Speed, Autumn increases Acrobatics, Winter increases Defence, Spring increases Damage) Once each), WW (Summons a wind which slows Ganon once for a period of time), TP (Allows access to Wolf Form once), PH/ST (Accesses a Phantom which distracts Ganon once), FS/MC (Shrinks Link allowing him to run past Ganon once) & SS (Allows Link to disable Ganon’s Triforce Attack Once). Eventually knocking Ganon down Link will then be approached by Dark Link who will say “This is my doing… I was the one who broke the Hero’s code; I cannot be forgiven for my actions… You are the Hero of Will, you are destined to fix what I have wronged, and I give you my gift”. After this Link is given the Hero’s Shield and Master Sword, Ganon is outraged by this destroys the Dark Link and pulls Link and himself into the Dark Region. Link awakens to thunder and looks up to see Ganon staring him down. Link uses the Master Sword and Hero’s Shield to fight Ganon however despite driving the sword through Ganon’s skull Ganon survives. Ganon casts the sword away and explains how he is now able to withstand the Master Sword and laughs at Link. Just then however Dark Link appears again and this time forces his arms into Ganon pulling out The Hero of Time. Dark Link then explains that The Hero of Time and Dark Link are one in the same however Dark Link is what The Hero of Time never was. Ganon then begins to pull the three Links slowly towards him attempting to absorb one of them. However at the very last moment a fourth Link appears, the Child Hero of Time. Child Link says “Dark Link had lived in such remorse he forgot that while The Hero of Time was trapped inside of Ganon we would live on as it was the Hero of Time’s choice to make”. As this occurs Child Link grabs out the Ocarina of Time and plays an ascending scale with each of the other Link’s appearing behind them all. After reaching the highest note a golden glow absorbs Child Link who pulls out the Wooden Sword which is engulfed in light and Child Link charges into Ganon. Ganon staggers however gets up laughing at the Child Link wasting himself for The Hero of Time and Dark Link. The Hero of Time awakens however and uses Din’s Fire to knock Ganon over. Dark Link then stands back as The Hero of Time uses the Longshot to pull an object out of Ganon. The Hero of Time gives it to Link who wonders what it is. After it stops glowing it is shown to be a golden blade embossed with the Triforce. Link takes it over to the Master Sword and the two fuses creating a Golden Master Sword. Dark Link and The Hero of Time then give their powers to the Sword giving it a Green and Black cloth around the Handle. Ganon gets up and all of the Links then give their spirits to the True Master Sword which begins to Glow. Link strikes Ganon several times in the Back and finally drives the sword through Ganon’s hands and skull causing Ganon to let out a roar and then fall and turn into stone. The area is then engulfed in Light and Link is greeted by Zelda who explains that the Goddesses have allowed for Old Hyrule to rise from the Sea. Link and Zelda watch from the Castle as Old Hyrule rises into the Sky to the same height as the Skyloft once was.
