For those who don't know, Disney is buying FOX's media assets and intends to formally announce a deal tomorrow. This means they now own such franchises as Alien, Planet of the Apes, Home Alone, Avatar, The Simpsons, Ice Age, Futurama, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It also means they have gained FOX's stock on Hulu, and the rights to several Marvel characters (including Deadpool and the X-Men) have been returned to them.

Honestly I'm not sure how to feel about this. From a geek's perspective, it will definitely be cool to have the X-Men in the MCU and stuff like that. But from an economic point of view, this deal means Disney is edging closer than ever to monopoly status.

What are your opinions on the Disney-Fox deal? Are there any reboots/revivals of Fox properties you may want Disney to try out at some point? Discussion is encouraged.
