Hello everyone, and welcome to Name That League! This is the second blog, so I won't bother reexplaining it's purpose. If you missed the first blog, you can find it here.
Competition Schedule[]
Name That League will have three rounds-
- Round 1- Users may enter a name into the competition; the names will be voted on during the following rounds. Round 1 will last from Saturday to Sunday night (July 8 - 9).
- Round 2 (That's this one)- Users will vote on the submitted names in the first round of voting. This first voting session will last from Monday to Wednesday night (July 10 - 12)
- Round 3- The top names from Round 2 will advance and be voted on again by users in the second round of voting. This second voting session will last from Thursday to Friday Night (July 13 - 14), with the winner announced on Saturday (on July 15).
Competition Rules[]
The specific rules for each round will be posted for each dedicated blog.
The rules for this round are pretty simple:
- Post a comment voting for the 2 names you like the best.
- For the sake of simplicity, you won't be able to change your vote once its cast.
- If by July 12th there is a tie between two names, we will move on to Round 3 - otherwise the competition will end there. Either way, the next (and potentially last) blog in this series will go up on July 13th.
