Bear this torch against the cold of the night -Well, Galeem enveloped the universe, leaving no light. But, if there was no light, Kirby would be dead, so then again.
Search your soul and reawaken the undying light -A message to the others to fight Galeem's control, perhaps?
On that day, when the sky fell away - Obviously that trailer cutscene
Our world came to an end - He did get the whole universe, which sounds world-ending to me.
In our eyes, did a fading sun rise in the dark? - It's Kirby on a warp star. Maybe.
Glimmering shadows - I really can't get much from these two words. Most likely the clones that the spirits are in.
Silence grows, in the spaces between - Between what? Release date and me getting it? Actually, maybe the areas visited? Ground and Galeem?
stretching out beyond time - Well, if the universe was vaporized, there would be no clocks, but I don't think that's what they meant.
Rising up, as a chorus of souls find a voice - The spirits possessing the smashers have come to help!
flickering through the void - Of space?
These little sparks, cling on to life, - Pretty sure this whole verse is about the spirits.
everyone caught in the struggle, - Well, it is Smash.
And then the storms of change, they fan the flames - Kirby survived! He's here to destroy Galeem, who may or may not be a fireball!
scattering ashes to the wind - More vaporizem?
Every soul contains a whisper of light - Is that why the spirits could survive?
gleaming faintly as it dwindles from sight - Can spirits disappear maybe?
No escape, no greater fate to be made - Oof. Well, I guess once your vaporized, you can't be un-vaporized.
In the end, the chains of time will not break - Well that's good to know.
As fate spins a thread without end, - Guys their talking about Galeem again! He's a spinning, colorful thing!
new life draws its first breath, - The clones breathe with spirits help?
Blossoming in a soil reclaimed from the past, - The only plant in the game is not out yet, so that's probably a metaphor.
