As I've gone to chat to explain, my school computer stopped working yesterday, suddenly and when my back was turned to deal with something else. My charger sliced open a while earlier and I didn't unplug the computer very quickly, so I'm guessing it succumbed to a delayed power surge or even sustained damage to the motherboard. I've been an emotional wreck in the meantime, including through an AP exam. My school's tech lead will be physically moving the drive to another computer, which sounds sketchy but… fine. I haven't backed my files up for several months, and I just want to get them all backed up now (since practically everything else I do syncs somewhere automatically). If nothing else, this is a learning experience about backups.
