Umiko (in japanese うみこ "daughter of the sea") is one of the characters who appear on the Battle of Bracelets series. She is one of the allies who makes her first appearance on the chapter 4 of Battle of Bracelets 5. She is one of the Marine Captains who serves the peace of Atlantis, she carries the title of Seashell Captain, one of the most important captains since she looks after the temple of Poseidon. Her main abilities are the Mermaid Song, the ability which makes the enemies fall asleep or attracted to her due to the mermaid songs that she can sing; and Coral Body, an ability that allows Umiko to create an armor with a tough coral, although she can turn also any part of her body into coral. Her main weapon is the Oceans Shield, a bronzed shield which is considered the most resistant shield of the ocean and that can be thrown as if it were a disk.
