Twilight's Sparkle is an upcoming, two-dimensional platformer game for the Nintendo Wii. Twilight's Sparkle is being produced by X-Scissor for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series (with permission from Hasbro Studios). The game is planning to be released sometime between April and June 2012, worldwide.
The story of Twilight's Sparkle follows Twilight Sparkle, the unicorn, and Spike, the dragon, on a large adventure through Equestria. Twilight learns many new spells and plans to defeat her rivals (such as Discord or Nightmare Moon) who have plans to take over the land of Equestria.

GameplayEdit
Twilight's Sparkle is a 2D Platformer game. There are many stages found in the many locations of this game, and a button to view the map is seen on the bottom screen. The player moves Twilight with the Control Pad, jumps with the A Button, and will run fast in the direction facing with the B Button. Enemies are seen in levels, and will take a certain number of hits by Spells, or knocking into to get defeated. The currency in this game is known as "Bits". The game is saved at Save Machines, which are found in various different places.
Twilight starts out with a maximum HP of 3 hearts. When she is hurt, one heart will be taken out (hearts can be viewed on the bottom screen). After each chapter of the game is beaten, Twilight will gain another maximum heart.
Twilight can be helped out by Spike during levels, if another Wii Remote is synced. Player 2 will control Spike, and both players will play cooperatively. Although Spike cannot use Spells, he can push or lift heavy objects. to help out Twilight.
SpellsEdit
Twilight can learn a large variety of Spells. Her spells are learned from the Spellbook she carries around. Each Spell costs Spell Points and can be found and selected from the Spellbook to be learned. Spell Points are earned by defeating enemies. Using Spells take up Spell Power, which is also gained by defeating enemies.
Twilight can equip up to four Spells at once. All of the equipped Spells are found on the bottom of the screen and must be pointed at, then selected with the 1 button to be used. Spells can cause damage on enemies, raise a stat of Twilight, or cause a status problem on an enemy. A list of all of the usable spells is as follows:
