Trap (Third) is a protagonist of the 2015 puzzle-RPG, Protocol. He worked most of his life as a comedian, before retiring to be a hunter, though does so only for money and food. Trap loves to crack jokes to lighten the moods of those around him. Trap is voiced by Keith Silverstein, and his real name is Nicholas Grey.
Trap is tall and slightly overweight, often seen wearing a brown jacket with black jeans and a red hat. His hair is greying, though still has hints of his original black hair. He also has a small moustache that curls around his lips.
Trap doesn't like serious situations, and will try to keep everyone in high spirits. Trap will joke around, and cares deeply for his friends and the others around him.
Nicholas Grey was adopted at the age of twelve by Evelyn and Cyrus Grey, with no records of his birth or birth parents being found. Nicholas began writing jokes at the age of thirteen and quickly got into entertaining. His father's friend owned a pub, and when Nicholas was eighteen, he started to entertain at it on weekday nights. He continued his job until he was 52, when he retired after he got in a fight that injured his throat, and quickly took up the hobby of hunting.
