Tomodachi Quest is a pseudosequel to the Nintendo 3DS, Tomodachi Life based upon the Quest dream from the first game and expanding into a full-on role-playing game. Tomodachi Quest was meant to be shown at FHS 2014. Tomodachi Quest takes place in a medieval version of the player's island from the first game, if the player has a save file of the original games, the player can import their Miis from the previous installment into this one.

Gameplay

Tomodachi Quest's gameplay is very similar to it's predecessor. The player can put Miis into their own houses in a medieval kingdom which the player can name it. Most of the things from the previous game are still on this version, such as Mii News, but instead of being a newstation this time, it is a public reunion where the king's messenger, which is randomly picked by the game, tells the villagers news, the Apartments were changed to Villages and the other locations were adapted to look like medieval locations.

The major change is the Quests, in which the player can unite four Miis to explore Dungeons that are randomly picked by the player to find new items, interiors, clothes and weapons. The player can change the Miis class that any time to a large number option of classes, each one with advantages and disavantages. The dungeons are also randomly generated and the gameplay is a topdown RPG similar to classic games such as Final Fantasy.

Other change have to do with the Warlord class, when the player has a Mii Warlord, that means that the player can invade other kingdoms and engage in a battle against other players. Instead of the usual Final Fantasy-like gameplay, the game switches to a Fire Emblem-esque gameplay where the player chooses 7 Miis to protect their kingdom. If the player loses, random resources will be stolen from the kingdom and if the player wins, then the player steals the resources from said kingdom. The players can also co-operate with other kingdoms creating alliances all over the world to fight against other players and such.
