Tingle is a middle-aged man in The Legend of Zelda series who dresses in green, pretending to be a "forest fairy". Whenever he meets Link, he always asks him if he is a forest fairy. These "forest fairies" may be the Kokiri, or just plan Fairies.

Tingle appears as a playable character in The Legend of Zelda: Hour of Twilight, where his animal form is a pig. His instrument is the Tingle Flute, and his weapons specialty is in bombs, particularly Tingle Bombs.

Tingle makes his debut in the Mario Singalong! Series in Mario Singalong Legends! as an unlockable to unlock him you have to sing "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, "Survivor" by Destiny's Child "Umbrella" by Rihanna in Karoke mode.
