The notable features are Lekki's psychic powers, and his ability to communicate with spirits, which plays an essential part in beating the game. Lekki, was a concept abandoned by Nintendo a long time ago, but the developers of the game found it, and decided to create this game, introducing new concepts.
This game has several different modes: Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Minigames, Museum, and Sound Test. The multiplayer only works with two people, in which the second player taking the position of Lekki's brother, Jora, who would play a greater part in The Mighty Lekki 2, which would arrive in 2015. Jora is a green version of Lekki, with a different mark on his face, who can briefly hover, and is slightly less accurate than Lekki.
Lekki can use various psychic powers, including creating platforms in midair that stay intact for a few seconds, the ability to stun enemies, and some special attacks with his brother, Jora. After beating the game as Lekki, you can unlock Jora for the singleplayer mode. The museum has concept art, a old demo of the first level, and developer interviews, and a trailer for the sequel.
The story opens up with Lekki and Jora flying through a city, in a race between them, and then, a shadow passes over them. It turns out to be a spaceship filled with strange aliens that come down to conquer the city, and destroy Jora. Thus, Lekki and Jora go out to stop these odd creatures. Over the course of the story, Lekki learns the story of his past, and that it relates to these aliens, specifically that they enslaved his people, and sent him to Earth as one of these slaves, to destroy the planet. After he defeats the prince of these creatures, he learns this secret, and "TO BE CONTINUED" on the screen, leaving the story off for the sequel.
Each level is split up into four major sections, including a boss fight. To get to the bosses, you must complete all of the sections, and several missions within the stage. For a more detailed guide to the levels, and bosses, go here.
