Major Series Characters
The games have many different characters, however only a few characters are extremly Major. these being:
Cal: Cal is a calm, bookworm. He doesn't even care about the Dragon Crystals until Tular commands him to collect them all and return them to him, which Tular then uses to transform his daughter, Zeline into a Hragon. He then is forced to kill his friend in order to save Marivosel from her. He is also sort of the "Link" of The Chikara Chronicles, as he is (almost) always a playable character in The Chikara Chronicles Series, with the exception of the title The Chikara Chronicles: Zeline and Ciana's Quest, where the player takes control of Zeline and Princess Ciana as playable characters.
Princess Ciana: Princess Ciana is the Princess of Marivosel. She rules over the land like Princess Zelda, but unlike Zelda and Peach, she doesn't get kiddnapped at all. She makes her first appearence in The Chikara Chronicles 2: Zeline's Despair As a playable character and in The Chikara Chronicles: Zeline is back for real as Zeline's guide after her revival.
Zeline: Zeline is Cal's Best Friend and the daughter of Tular. She is killed in the first game, but is revived in her human form in The Chikara Chronicles: Zeline is back for real and a fake version of her appears in "The Chikara Chronicles: Zeline's Return.
Senpai: Senpai is anothet hero in the series, making his first appearance as a minor character in the classic games. He doesn't make a playable appearence (or even another appearence) until The Chikara Chronicles: Super Senpai and The Chikara Chronicles: Senpai the Hragon.
Tular: Tular is the main (and for the most part, only) villain in the series. He make hi first appearence in the first game, turning his daughter, Zelina into a Hragon, where Cal is forced to kill her. He later appears in The Chikara Chronicles 2: Zeline's Return making a fake version of her Hragon form.
Like many other game series, The Chikara Chronicles has many spin-off series, these are:
The Chikara Chronicles: Super Bash Fight!: A series Super Smash Bros. Style games, it was pulled from shelves after about a month of being sold due to a lawsuit from Hal Laboratories saying it was "An exact clone" of their game.
Super Chikara Racing: a racing game using The Chikara Chronicles Series characters as the playable characters as playable characters.
Dragon Crystal Games: A sports series simmalar to the mario sports series with The Chikara Chronicles characters.
The Legend of Ciana: A series of crossover games with The Legend of Zelda series. It's has gotten praise for it's "incredibly addicting" plotline and twist on both series' stories. The series also states that Marivosel is in the same universe as Hyrule, although this hasn't been confirmed anywhere else.
- Hragon is a mix between the words Dragon and Human
- Chikara means Power In japanese, so the series is called The Power Chronicles in Japan.
