Ten Nights at Freddy's: The Addition of Freddy's Castle, also known as TNaF, is an indie point-and-click horror game. The goal is for the player to try to survive the night at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and Castle while avoiding getting caught and killed by the animatronics. It is the sequel of Five Nights at Freddy's 2. The game features new animatronics and new locations.

Summary[]

Welcome back to the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (again)! Due to popular demands, we have introduced new animatronics into our restaurant. And get this? We've even created a tourist attraction known as Freddy's Castle which features much more animatronics! We have also decided to attempt to make the restaurant bigger, constructing new rooms for more customers!

So why are you here?

Well, your job is to monitor the cameras and make sure that nothing goes wrong. And after you have completed five nights at Freddy's Pizza, you will be able to spend five more nights at Freddy's Castle!

Well that is all I have to say. Just remember! Check those cameras and doors carefully and if an animatronic is near you, good luck!

As always, Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for death or dismemberment.

Gameplay[]

The player sits in an office and monitors security cameras positioned throughout the restaurant or castle (depending on the player's progress) to observe the animatronic mascots. The player has a limited amount of power to view camera feeds, light hallways, flash camera monitor viewings and close the doors.. The player must use the camera feed locations in the building, and hold the animatronics off using the doors. If the player fails to do this, they will be killed with a jumpscare or other method. To advance to the next night, the player must survive from 12:00 AM until 6:00 AM (10 minutes of torture in real time).

New Features[]

  • Ability to cover vents with grates (only for five seconds as the grates are worn out allowing the animatronics to break through).
  • Puppet Mask to scare away the animatronics if they break through the vent or come through the hallway.
  • Emergency Button to close both doors and vents immediately. Wastes 2% power for each use.
  • Mini Generator to gain 1 power every 20 seconds.

Humans[]

Image Name Personality
Kenny Matthews Kenny has pale skin and a black fringe as seen in the end cutscene. Kenny is believed to be very focused and competent, withstanding 20 animatronics for ten nights of brutal torture. He is also the only one other than Jeremy not to be fired. Instead, he jumps out the window behind him at the end of Custom Night, fleeing from a mysterious animatronic only seen by his shadow...
Phone Guy This Phone Guy is a new variation as there was apparently another security guard in between Mike Schmidt and Kenny Matthews' employment periods. He is afraid to death, often shouting and shutting doors often. Believing he is safe, he advises Kenny on the behaviours of each animatronic. Phone Guy dies in the end as you can hear his shriek before hearing a wall being smashed.
Phone Guy #2 This Phone Guy was the previous security guard who watched over Freddy Fazbear's Castle. He sounds very tough and strong, as you can often hear him punching the walls and shouting threats at the animatronics. Phone Guy #2 also dies in the end as you can hear him struggling with an animatronic before hearing a slash of an axe.

Animatronics[]

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza[]

Image Name Starting Location Behaviour
Freddy Fazbear Show Stage He will only become active early in the week if the player runs out of electricity, at which time the player will be greeted by his illuminated face, and the Toreador March before being attacked. From the 3rd night onward, he will become active. When Freddy starts to move, a deep laugh is heard instead of footsteps. Freddy only moves when the cameras are down. Freddy can only enter The Office via the East Hall.
Bonnie the Bunny Show Stage Bonnie is known for returning to The Office more frequently than the other animatronics, and he only approaches from the left side. He will stare through the doorway into The Office, unlike Chica, who looks through the window. Bonnie also has a special ability in which he can disable the cameras temporarily as he moves to another area, as does Chica.
Chica the Chicken Show Stage Chica will generally head towards the player's position, similar to Bonnie, but she also wanders to the Kitchen and Restrooms. As opposed to Bonnie, Chica will show up at the door less often, but will generally linger there, waiting longer and stealing more of the player's energy, whereas Bonnie will show up often but leave quickly.
Perry the Penguin Show Stage On the early nights, he is normally very idle, with almost no chance of attacking on Nights 1 or 2. On Night 3, he will walk around, but will not target you. On Night 4, however, he will become a major threat, and is sometimes capable of disabling 2 random camera views every time he attacks (though he normally only disables 1) and he attacks often. He can attack almost 4 times a night after Night 3. His behaviour in Night 5 is around the same, though on Night 5 he is triggered slightly earlier.
Foxy the Pirate Fox Pirate Cove Foxy hides behind his curtain in Pirate Cove throughout the game. Over the course of the night, the player must use the Monitor periodically. They must also check Pirate Cove in a balance between "too much" and "too little" to keep Foxy from emerging from his curtain and sprinting toward the Office. This balance can be difficult to find, but it is essential to surviving the night without Foxy coming to end it. Foxy's attacks seem to be based on a timer, rather than being random.
Mangle Kid's Cove Mangle begins the night in a corner at Kid's Cove, in a contorted heap of machinery. Once activated, it will mainly travel the pizzeria via the ceiling. Mangle does not try to enter the Office from the hallway. Mangle also may frequently appear in the same room with other animatronics. When the Mangle moves into or out of a room that is monitored by the cameras, a static feed will occur.
Larry the Lion The Attic Larry and Terry work in unison, usually always in the same room, but lower down they split up and are always in opposing rooms (e.g. Larry is in West Hall, Terry must be in East Hall). When one is at the door, you have to shut both (alternatively, if one door is shut, the other at the opposing door is unable to get in.)
Terry the Tiger The Basement Larry and Terry work in unison, usually always in the same room, but lower down they split up and are always in opposing rooms (e.g. Larry is in West Hall, Terry must be in East Hall). When one is at the door, you have to shut both (alternatively, if one door is shut, the other at the opposing door is unable to get in.)
Balloon Boy Game Area BB starts in the Game Area and will eventually come to The Office via the Left Air Vent. With each of his movements, the player can hear him saying "Hello" and "Hi". BB will not show up on any other cams, except the Game Area and the Left Air Vent, making his location hidden. If the player pulls up the monitor while BB is in the Left Air Vent's blind spot, he enters The Office, laughing constantly. Once inside, he disables the Flashlight and the Left and Right Air Vents' blind spot lights.
The Puppet Prize Corner The player needs to keep the Music Box wound, as the animatronics seem to have some sort of problem where having no noise will cause them to malfunction and try to find sources of noise; in this case, the player's office. Keeping the Music Box wound is vital; if it is left unwound for too long, the Puppet will come out of his box and the player will be attacked, receiving a game over.
Marty the Mammoth Parts/Services An extremely dangerous animatronic that is in several pieces, and the other animatronics can assemble him while the camera is down. When fully functional, Marty runs straight for the Office, crushing the player which results in a Game Over. It is necessary to check the cameras once in a while to make sure that he is not being built. There are 8 parts of him located in each room and the finished model will be located in Parts/Services.
Golden Freddy Security Office It is currently unknown where (if anywhere) Golden Freddy starts from. At random, Golden Freddy can instantly appear in The Office or the hall just outside the office, plopped down in a similar position he was in the first game or just his head floating in the distance, respectively. Shortly afterward, his body will vanish, only for his head to rush at the player and kill them if they do nothing to counter him. To prevent being killed by Golden Freddy, the player must immediately shut both doors once they spot him in the Office, or turn off the Flashlight when he's in the hallway.

Freddy Fazbear's Castle[]

Image Name Starting Location Behaviour
Freddy the King Throne Room He will only become active early in the week if the player runs out of electricity, at which time the player will be greeted by his illuminated face, and the Toreador March before being attacked. From the 3rd night onward, he will become active. When Freddy starts to move, a deep laugh is heard instead of footsteps. Freddy only moves when the cameras are down. Freddy can only enter The Office via the Bathroom.
Farthington the Knight Throne Room Farthington works as a knight protecting the princess, stays with his brother at the stage, until it's time to move. His ability is to slowly walk to the Office at a slow pace (you can hear his loud armour footsteps) towards you. His weakness is to be spotted, in which he will be still until a couple seconds after you stopped looking at him. If he reaches your area, it's Game Over. The doors will bust open, and he'll get you.
Sami the Squire Throne Room Sami will stay at the stage, only moving when Farthington moves. Sami will move alongside him but will not follow if Farthington tries to help Penny. Sami will instead sprint around them and straight for the office. You must quickly shut the doors before he manages to make it to the Office.
Bonnie the Villager The Garden Bonnie is known for returning to The Office more frequently than the other animatronics, and he only approaches from the left side. He will stare through the doorway into The Office, unlike Chica, who looks through the window. Bonnie also has a special ability in which he can disable the cameras temporarily as he moves to another area, as does Chica.
Chica the Cook Kitchen Chica will generally head towards the player's position, similar to Bonnie, but she also wanders to the Kitchen and Chapel. As opposed to Bonnie, Chica will show up at the door less often, but will generally linger there, waiting longer and stealing more of the player's energy, whereas Bonnie will show up often but leave quickly.
Joaquin the Jester Jester's Prison Joaquin goes a set distance towards your right side, and decides to be sneaky, trying to avoid the sight of the camera. If he reaches the right side, he will drain your power faster, thus making it harder to survive. The only way to prevent that is for you to click on him in his location during his sneaking, which will scare him off back to the Jester's Prison. If he's at your right side, you have to use the light to spot him.
Penny the Princess Princess' Chambers She wanders the facility, galloping and playing around wherever she goes. You can tell where she goes by a light that will enter in from a certain part, and the rising volume of her singing. When you look directly at her with your camera, she will scream very loud, which causes Farthington to run over to her. The Knight will ignore being seen, and will rush over to the Princess's location. If the Jester sees the Princess, the Knight will attack him, and stun him for a longer time than being spotted.
Matt the Monkey Dining Room A small brown monkey wearing a red fez and vest. It has a wide creepy light up grin and plays a organ grinder. Matt doesn't kill the player instead jumping in front of the camera, flinging something at it, disabling it for some time. He also jams the door with Bananas if you're not watching and you will have to clean it quickly. But the worse thing is he can sprint in and mess with the lights and doors, draining your power then running out. Matt is too fast to watch on camera so you must listen for his organ music. Once it is really loud, shut the door and you'll hear a bang as if he smacked into the door and he'll be knocked unconscious for the rest of the night.
Ethan the Executioner The Dungeon Unlike the other animatronics, Ethan will be seen swinging his axe around in the Dungeon instead of staying still. He will continue to swing his axe while advancing towards the player. When Ethan is moving, you will hear the sound of an axe being dragged across the ground. When he reaches the Office, you must close the doors immediately. However, there is a 1 in 100 chance that he will break the door open with his axe. Instead of the usual jumpscare, he will be seen standing in front of you. Two seconds later, he will swing his axe, resulting in a Game Over.
Fabian the Fish Security Office Fabian is located through a glass ceiling panel in the Office. You can view him through a camera in his tank. The tank begins each night totally full, but has a leak. The tank slowly runs out of water, and the fish (which floats) slowly approaches the panel above the player. Once the fish reaches the panel, it rams into it 3 times. Each time it rams, there’s a loud noise. The fish also cracks the glass more each time it rams, and after the third time, it stares at you, screams, and launches through the panel (killing the player).

The only way to stop the fish is to add water (which you have a limited supply of, like power) to the tank, causing him to float back up. Also, each time you fill the tank, it takes 5 seconds or so of helplessness while you turn the nozzle.

Locations[]

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza[]

Image Name Description
Show Stage The Show Stage is occupied by Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy Fazbear.

Bonnie and Chica are the first to leave the stage, with Bonnie being the first in earlier nights. Freddy and Perry, however, will not leave the stage until The 3rd Night. Also, on any night, Freddy and Perry can stare into the camera while on the show stage, albeit quite rarely.

Pirate Cove The Pirate Cove is occupied by Foxy only. Foxy operates using a different mechanic than the other animatronics: if the player checks the camera for this area too much or too little, Foxy will slowly emerge from behind the curtain and sprint to the office, giving the player a few short seconds to close the left door before he attacks.
Kid's Cove The Kid's Cove is occupied by Mangle only. The Mangle can be seen laying on the ground - broken, battered, and basically destroyed. It was destroyed by the children playing there, as pictures on the wall depict kids kicking him and holding his torn-off head. There is also a poster to the far right (almost barely visible) that seems to say 'The new face of playtime' with the Mangle's face on it. Using the poster can determine how the Mangle's facial area looked before it fell into disrepair.
The Attic The Attic is occupied by Larry the Lion only. Larry can be seen staring straight at the camera, with his blood-stained mane and eyeless face. Sometimes, Larry can be seen twitching around with the camera shutting off three seconds later.
The Basement The Basement is occupied by Terry the Tiger only. Terry can be seen looking away from the camera, with his blood-stained fur and cut neck. Sometimes, Terry can be seen twitching around with the camera shutting off three seconds later.
Game Area The Game Area is occupied by Balloon Boy only. The animals on the carousel are the same as the Fazbear gang: a bunny, a chicken, a fox, and a bear.
Prize Corner The Prize Corner is occupied by The Puppet only. While viewing the Prize Corner on your monitor, there is a button labelked "Wind up Music Box", and directly below the button says "Click and Hold." Winding up the Music Box keeps the Puppet from moving. There is a timer next to the button that shows how much time is left before the player must wind up the Music Box again before the Puppet starts moving. At some points, when using the Flashlight during the red caution sign, the Puppet appears on the stand to the right, which suggests that he lifted from the box, as seen in the drawn pictures on the wall.
Parts/Services The Parts/Services will be occupied by Marty the Mammoth when repaired.
West Hall The West Hall is not occupied by any animatronic. The West Hall consists of the West Hallway, West Hallway Corner & the Left Air Vent.
East Hall The East Hall is not occupied by any animatronic. The East Hall consists of the East Hallway, East Hallway Corner & the Right Air Vent.
Hallway The Hallway is not occupied by any animatronic. The Hallway is located in front of the Security Office. You are able to use your Flashlight to view the Hallway while off-camera. You are also able to view the Hallway with your camera.
Security Office The Office is occupied by the player.

There are Doors and a Grate to cover the vents. Animatronics can enter through the doors or vents. The player can not move and can only switch his gaze from left to right and vice versa.

Freddy Fazbear's Castle[]

Image Name Description
Throne Room The Throne Room is occupied by Freddy, Farthington and Sami. Freddy will be seen sitting on his throne, with Farthington and Sami kneeling beside him. Freddy will always move first, unless the Princess is seen before he can move.
The Garden The Garden is occupied by Bonnie. Bonnie will be seen, surrounded by limp flowers, dead butterflies and fallen tress. Bonnie will sometimes stare at the camera.
Kitchen

The Kitchen is occupied by Chica.

Chica will be seen in this location, surrounded by frying pans, bread rolls and cooked chickens. Chica will sometimes stare at the camera.

Jester's Prison The Jester's Prison is occupied by Joaquin. Joaquin will be seen, surrounded by rusty chains, iron bars, a mace and blood stained floor. Joaquin will sometimes switch the camera upside down.
Dining Room The Dining Room is occupied by Matt. Matt will be seen, surrounded by chandeliers, fireplaces and bananas. The chairs are fallen and have banana peels covering them.
The Dungeon The Dungeon is occupied by Ethan. Ethan will be seen, surrounded by a guilotine, axes and a blade. The room is blood-stained.
Princess' Chambers The Princess' Chambers is occupied by Penny. Penny will move five seconds after the Night starts, never coming back into this room. This room is actually quite beautiful with a unicorn doll and floral wallpaper.
Bathroom The Bathroom is not occupied by any animatronic. The Bathroom features a toilet, bathtub and a sink. The bathtub is filled with water and sometimes will be filled with blood or jewellery.
The Chapel The Chapel is not occupied by any animatronic. The Chapel features statues of Jesus Christ and a Holy Cross in the middle of the room. A chandelier hangs over it.
Security Office The Office is occupied by the player.

There are Doors and a Grate to cover the vents. Animatronics can enter through the doors or vents. The player can not move and can only switch his gaze from left to right and vice versa. Fabian is located above the player and must be checked on from time to time.

Trivia[]

  • The shadow seen by Kenny has been speculated to have been many things. However, three have been the most popular
    • It is believed to be a hallucination due to the trauma that may have occurred to Kenny during his working period.
    • It is also believed to have been something of supernatural formation. It is widely speculated to have been the Marionette, who sometimes appears in hallucinations in the Left Vent, laughing maniacally at the player. It is believed that the Marionette is real.
    • It is also believed that the shadow may have been the lights being destroyed as no lights are activated in the end.
  • Many people asked questions about the ending such as why Kenny did not get fired for tampering. One of the developers, NovaPen, explained that Kenny had fled before he had been fired.

Easter Eggs[]

The Marionette[]

On some nights, a Marionette is seen in the Left Vent. This is a very rare occasion and seems to occur at random intervals.

Easter Easter Egg[]

During the Easter holidays, Bonnie will wear an Easter Bunny costume.

Christmas Easter Egg[]

On December 25th, the Music Box will play Jingle Bells instead of My Grandfather's Clock.
