It is the first game developed by GemGames Co. and sees the debut appearance of their former company mascot character, Emerald the Sceptile.

Gameplay
Edit
The basic gameplay on single player is comparable to that of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, in that all of Team Gemstones will be together, the player can switch between controlling the three characters, and the CPU will control the other two then. It is also similar to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword in that the player is free to roam around, and the enemy battle system is very similar.
