Task Force Elite (TFE) is a multiplayer online war arena, real-time strategy computer game developed and published by user BlackOps2025 (tbc) for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It is in the genre of a 3D, third-person multiplayer battle arena (MOBA). It is a free-to-play game supported by micro-transactions and inspired by similar titles such as League of Legends.

In Task Force Elite, players assume the role of an unseen "Aerial Commander" that controls a team of Special Forces soldiers with unique weapons and abilities to battle against a team of other players or computer-controlled teams. Gameplay modes that players can choose from include Campaign (players fight play in a story plot against NPCs).


Task Force Elite was released on January 22nd, 2016, even though it wasn't due for another half an year due to tremendous anticipation by top gaming reviewers and communities. It was generally well-received and has grown in popularity over the years. It has rivaled League of Legends in popularity in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia. 

Gameplay[]

Task Force Elite is a MOBA computer game consisting of two main gaming modes: Campaign and Multiplayer. In Campaign Mode, players play in misions in four set timelines. Completing a mission will give out a small amount of Money (standard currency) which can be used in Multiplayer mode. Completing a timeline will unlock its respective Special Forces in Multiplayer mode and give out large amounts of Money and Honor Points (premium currency) which can be used in Multiplayer mode. Completing all four timelines will unlock Prestige (ability to restart Campaign) and very large amounts of Money and Honor Points. Amount of rewards given out is also influenced by the Difficulty Level (Training, Easy, Normal, Difficult, Veteran). 

Multiplayer mode consists of three main modes: Team Firefight (team of players versus another team of players to get the most kills),
