Welcome to the fifth annual announcement event for TalixArts. It will showcase several new announcements for upcoming games, new ips, movies, and more. Like last year’s event, it will continue the two-day split format.
Day One[]

Metroid Wild
The first game revealed is a follow-up to the tease that ended last year’s event, teasing the return of Samus and the possibility of TalixArts delving in the world of Metroid. And it is the first big reveal; Metroid Wild will be a brand new adventure. It is a spiritual successor to the ‘‘Prime’’ games. Wild will allow Samus to venture a dangerous planet called Adder. And Adder could hold answers to the Metroid origins. Using Switch’s innovative controllers, players can guide Samus’ new improved Phazon suit while gaining amazing new abilities like, static roll and multiply strike.
Wild will bring back other fan favorite characters such as Ridley; Ridley could provide a huge role that could define the rest of the game’s storyline. There’s a point Samus may have to work with her greatest enemy when they both share a common enemy. This new enemy is going to be a new territorial alien race known as the Vespers. The Vespers are like space pirates, but is an ancient race that may have well spreaded the seeds of Metroid. In the game as well, players will allow Samus to control a brand new glider. The glider can hover through space and the skies with hover mode; and traverse through the harsh landscape of Adder with walker mode. With the Switch controllers and tablet modes, players can easily go back and forth with walker and hover modes easily. Most of the Metroids seen from the series past will return and even Metroid Prime/Dark Samus.
Metroid Wild will be coming for the Nintendo Switch and the Notus on October 2018.

Super Mario Dark
Next is more on Super Mario Dark. Set to come December 2017. The new game will have Mario, Luigi, Master Toad, and Princess Peach team up to save Yoshi who has been kidnapped by Dark Mario—the new antagonist. Mario and friends will have to go the Mirror World and traverse through the Darkshroom, which is ruled by Emperor Koopa (a brand new character and Bowser’s father). Mario will have to go through new levels and face many foes including Dark Mario and Emperor Koopa. Some of the new power ups include the Vanishing Mushroom allowing Mario and other co-op players to turn invisible and go through many solids and enemies.

Being invisible will also be integral to parts of the game so Mario can succeed. Another new power up includes the twilight clock. The twilight clock will allow Mario to play with day and night—as most of the enemies Mario will face will thrive in either light or dark. With the clock, Mario can use it as strategy to weaken the enemies that need to dwell in light and darkness; and also have the ability to go reverse. A big part of the game involves co-op; Mario, Luigi, Master Toad, and Princess Peach are all playable characters in the four co-op mode.
Super Mario Dark will be coming for the Nintendo Switch and the Notus on December 2017.

Circuit Reloaded
Next up is the long-awaited sequel of Circuit Downloaded; Circuit Reloaded continues the adventures of Maven’s most trusted ally and best friend, Circuit. Circuit will embark on a brand new solo quest. The story will set directly after the “Harbinger Trilogy”. With Maven focused on learning more about his ancestral heritage, it will force him to leave his buddy; Circuit will then go on a self-discovery mission of his own. Along the way, he will then cross paths with a vicious gang of bounty hunters led by the dangerous hunter, Kaine. Fearing for his friends and then his homeworld, Circuit will recruit the likes of Daisy, Jasper, and the return of the traitorous Alistair. Circuit and his gang will go one on one against Kaine’s gang leading to a possible all out war, and the fates of the Johto Islands and Bolt Island up in the air.
Most of the gameplay from Downloaded will return; and the 4 co-op system used so well in previous TalixArts titles will mark its debut here. Circuit will also have some new tweaks in his armory and Daisy, Jasper, and Alistair will have new upgrades for each of themselves.
Circuit Reloaded will be coming out November 2017 for the Switch and the Notus.

Pokémon: Battlefare City
Next up is the latest entry in the Pokémon Arena series; Battlefare City is the sequel to Arena Battlefare and the main fifth entry in the overall series. In the previous game, the Battlefare Arena was introduced and in the sequel will resume the story that was left in a semi-cliffhanger. In the story mode, your trainer (you can upload your customized trainer) was set to become Battlefare Master; but now the Original Master, Pratt, decides to get even after you exposed his plan with Team Chaos (similar to Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Galactic, etc). Seeking revenge, Pratt strips your trainer of competitor and sends you to a metropolis-like arena, nicknamed “Battlefare City”. In this unexpected environment, your hero/heroine must use his Pokémon team and defeat many new surprising threats from Team Chaos, Team Rocket, rival competitors, wild Pokémon, and the city itself. The city-like arena is a mystery. If you intend to escape Battlefare City, your hero/heroine must unmask the truth behind this new treacherous world or face Pratt’s wrath forever.
Most of the canon generations including Sun and Moon will all be available and new DLC packs will be available at a later time. Modes from the previous game including tournament rumble, arena flag, memory match, and tag team royale will all return. Up to 8 players can play at the same time.
Pokémon: Battlefare City will be released for the Nintendo 3DS and the Notus for mid 2018.

Wisp
Next up is a brand new ip being revealed. it is called Wisp. It is an upcoming strategy and puzzle-solving video game. It has the essence of Pikmin and Little Big Planet. In the scrolling adventure, you play a wayward wisp called Lantern. As Lantern, you must unlock several challenges and gain “light keys” that will allow it access to other worlds; in hopes for Lantern to find its true home. Along the way, the mission puzzles will get harder and tougher; enemies include Shadow Bugs and Wind dogs. Lantern will need all the light keys to traverse in time and get home before its too late. This unique fun game is the first stepping stone for a major change for TalixArts coming next year.

Maven Versus: Round 2
Next up is the official reveal of Maven Versus: Round 2. The game is the second in the spinoff series. In the game, Maven, Circuit, Tyi, Daisy, Nevam, and Jasper will headline a mega class of characters—it will be the first time in the Maven universe, that characters from the Original Trilogy and Sequel/Harbinger Trilogy will unite (allies and foes). This game won’t have any impact in the main series. Similar to Mario Kart, the game will focus heavily on races. In the game’s story, The Master and Dr. Leviticus will plot a plan to finally destroy Maven and his friends for good. The villainous duo will create another reality-warping device, but this time; creates major consequences. Their blunder now creates major time holes in the Maven universe and in an effort to find Leviticus and Master’s reality-warping machine, Maven, his allies, and his foes will race one another to reach the machine, but do they all have the same goal in mind. Restore time or watch as everything that happened is lost forever.
Like the first game, the gameplay will feature racing mechanics. The characters can ride many types of vehicles from cars to trucks to motorcycles, to gliders, to speedboats, and etc. The game will also feature co-op play allowing several players to play mission races and time races. There are no new worlds; most of the home worlds from the Maven universe: Joto Islands, Nexus Isles, Dimensions, Bolt Island, Blackgate City, Lumen, and Nemul, will all be revisited. The full roster is set to be out soon.
Maven Versus: Round 2 will be released for the Nintendo Switch and the Notus. Coming soon Mid 2018.

Maven 7 (aka Maven Switch)
To end day one, is the teasing of Maven 7. It will be a brand new adventure for Maven and his allies. More updates are expected in next year's TalixCon. Maven 7 will be a major release in the series and could reshake everything in the Maven universe. Find out more when the time comes. But expect it to come out on Nintendo Switch and the Notus sometime 2019 or 2020.
