Super Smash Bros vs Capcom (大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ対カプコン Dairantō sumasshuburazāzu tai kapukon)is an hypotherical crossover fighting game between the characters featured in the Super Smash Bros. series and the characters under the Capcom's lisence. It is exclusive to the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii Consoles. It is the first installment in the Super Smash Bros vs Capcom Series.
As mentioned before, the game counts with the possibility of using all of the controlers (That is the Wiimote, the Classic Controler , Gamecube Controler, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 Controller).
The game also includes a unique feature, which is the capability of changing engines at the players will. Players can choose the engine they want to play in, either while starting the game or in the options menu. The two available engines are based upon the two modes: Smash Mode: Enables you to play based upon the Smash Bros Engine, Battles will be based on percentile and items. Players can go Free for All, Team Battle, Battle to the Finish, Destory the Targets, Boss Battle, The Battle Within, and The 100 Army. Capcom Mode: Enables you to play based upon the Capcom Engine. Battles will be based on 3 on 3 match. Players can go vs mode, Aracde, Online Mode, Challenges, Trophies (PS3 and Xbox 360 only), and The Battle Within Mode.
The player can choose between many options for Solo playing. Arcade mode is one of them. In it, the player must pass a determinated number of enemies and accumulate points for each battle, and to get the highest score possible. All-Star Mode can only be played after completing the character roster, and consists in beating each character of the roster, one by one. There is also Story Mode, in which the player follows a pre-determinated story (See: Plot)
Being a fighting game, Super Smash Bros vs Capcom makes special enphasis in Multiplayer battles. This can be made against real-like people (Either in local or online modes) or against the CPU. For the Smash Bros Engine there is the Stock Mode, in which you need to beat the opponent several times until they have no extra lifes, while the Capcom engine has the Consecutive Battle, which is battling a team of various opponent players one at a time until he or she has no characters left. Both engines have Timed Battles, in which the players must eliminate eachother the most times until time is up, and Special Battles, which are as the name suggests, battles under special conditions chosen by the player (E.g: High Gravity, Metalized Players, etc.)
The Coin System is a modified aspect of the Smash Bros game. After each battle (Either Solo or Multiplayer) the player will recieve coins, depending on the effort the player made while battling (The coins awarded are calculated by the number of Ring-Outs/Knock-Outs, the use of special attacks and combos, among other things.) The coins can be used for various things. You can buy trophies, which are collectibles. Trophies, like in previous Smash Bros games, do not affect the game, and are for purposes of collection only. The player can also buy new alternative suits for each character with the Coins awarded, and even Stages or Unlockable Characters.
The following characters are usable by the player or the CPU (If it says N/A in Method of Unlocking, it's because the character is playable from the beginning):

- There can be up to 10 different Miis you can choose to play with in the game. The Miis will have the moves of the character you choose. As a result, the Mii can have the moveset of Shadow, Akuma, Mario, or any other playable character of the roster just by choosing it.
The Story Mode starts with an intro cinematic. In it, various main characters from the different series can be seen doing their normal activities. For example, we can see Mario and Yoshi entering Peach's castle for dinner, Ryu training against Ken in the top of a mountain, Link playing his Ocarina alongside Epona near a river, and X resting in the top of a building, in the middle of the night. Then the screen slowly shades. The next scene presents Bowser, walking through a large corridor made of some sort of Black Ivory. The camera focuses then on the cealing, only to reveal that there is no cealing. Instead we can see some sort of turmoil made of light, similar in appearance to a Galaxy or a Nebulae. Bowser arrives to a gigantic door that opens in front of him. The door reveals various enemies from the games waiting for Bowzer. There's Sigma, Ganondorf, Akuma, Mewtwo, Albert Wesker, Demitri, Medusa, Dr. Eggman and Big Boss, and on the background there is two gigantic cages. One contains the Fatalis Dragon, and the other contains the Godon Thermal Creature. Bowzer approaches to them, and a voice can be heard coming from the turmoil of light above them.
"At last. We are all here." The turmoil stops only to reveal Master Hand and Gill, the main antagonists of the Super Smash Bros and Capcomseries. "With the power of the Rune I have found, I brought you all here for a deal you can't resist." An hologram appears at the middle of the group of villains. Holograms of the various heroes that have constantly frustrated their own plans.
"This might seem more than ovious to you, but I have assembled this little organization to take down each and everyone of this "heroes", as they are called by the rest of the low-leveled pests of society. I have prepared everything so that they come to our trap and we can eliminate them easily. What we'll do is this..."
Then the screen fades to black again, and the next scene appears. Mario can be seen in Peach's gardens alongside Yoshi, resting in a field of flowers. Then, an explotion can be heard and Mario and Yoshi wake up. They see Bowzer floating away in his Clown Car, taking Peach away, and various Toads shooting arrows at him, with no result whatsoever. The scene repeats again in Hytule, as we can see Zelda being kidnapped by Ganondorf's forces.
More on the Plot comming soon.
