Super Smash Bros. Rumble (スーパーファミコンクラッシュX, Super Nintendo Clash X in Japan) is a game that was in development by King Mario Co. before being taken over by Ghoul Games, Inc.. The game has a Story Mode, which happens many months after the events of Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary. The new story mode is called Adventure Mode: Tabbuu's Nightmare. The game will be released near the end of March 2012 and will be on the Wii U and 3DS=. The 3DS version is known to be able to connect to the Wii U version. The game was popular enough to gain a sequel, which is called Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Blast!.
Below is a chart of every character in this game, along with their special moves (which is used by pressing B and tilting the control stick in that direction) and a Final Smash (which can be activated by grabbing a "Smash Ball" and pressing the B button). Below lists the character's name, appearance, series, a description (which includes their special moves) and, if necessary, how to unlock them.
There are 19 default characters, along with two Third-Party Characters, making 20 overall.
|Mario||Super Mario||Mario is an all-around character who has his signature moves that he has used in many games: Fireball (Neutral), Cape (Side), Super Jump Punch (Up) and two new moves: Ground Pound (Down) and Flameballs (Final Smash).|
|Princess Peach||Super Mario||Princess Peach is an agile character who uses many unique moves to herself. Her special moves are: Toad (Neutral), Peach Bomber (Side), Peachy Parasol (Up), Turnip Toss (Down) and Peach Blossom (Final Smash).|
|Bowser||Super Mario||Bowser is the king of the Koopa Troop and a powerful character who uses many creative attacks including: Flamethrower (Neutral), Shell Slide (Side), Super Jump (Up), Hammer Throw (Down) and Koopa Rampage (Final Smash).|
|Kirby||Kirby||Kirby is a pink alien from the planet Pop Star that uses many attacks that he has gained from enemies. His attacks are: Copy (Neutral), Hammer (Side), Burning Blast (Up), Fighter Kick (Down), and Power Copy (Final Smash).|
|King Dedede||Kirby||King Dedede is one of Kirby's archenemies. Dedede uses many attacks including: Waddle Throw (Neutral), Sliding Charge (Side), Jet Hammer (Down), Super Jump (Up), and Star Throw (Final Smash).|
|Link||The Legend of Zelda||Link is the Hero of Time and Wind, and uses his elements to his advantage. His special moves are: Bow (Neutral), Boomerang (Side), Loftwing (Up), Bomb (Down), Triforce Slash (Final Smash).|
|The Legend of Zelda||Zelda is the magical princess of Hyrule and Link's love interest. Zelda's moves are: Nayru's Love (Neutral), Din's Fire (Side), Farore's Wind (Up), Shiek Transformation (Down), Light Spirit (Final Smash).
Sheik is a magical spirit, who is also Zelda's alter-ego. Sheik has many moves relating to the Sheikah clan, including: Needle Storm (Neutral), Chain (Side), Vanish (Up), Zelda Transformation (Down) and Light Arrow (Final Smash).
|Pikachu||Pokémon||Pikachu is a powerful Pokémon, and the most popular one. Pikachu's moves are: Electro Ball (Neutral), Thunderbolt (Side), Thunder (Down), Discharge (Up) and Charge Beam (Final Smash).|
|Sawk||Pokémon||Sawk is a Fighting-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation V. It has many powerful moves including: Karate Chop (Neutral), Double Kick (Side), Close Combat (Down), Bulk Up (Up) and Giga Impact (Final Smash)|
|Ness||EarthBound||Ness is a young child who has magical, but powerful, PSI abilities. Those PSI powers include: PK Flash (Neutral), PK Fire (Side), PK Thunder (Up), PSI Magnet (Down) and PK Starstorm (Final Smash)|
|Captain Falcon||F-Zero||Captain Douglas Jay Falcon is an F-Zero racer who is a bounty hunter and thwarts the plans of the evil Black Shadow. Captain Falcon's special moveset includes the following moves: Falcon Punch (Neutral), Raptor Boost (Side), Falcon Dive (Up), Falcon Kick (Down) and Blue Falcon (Final Smash)|
|Ike||Fire Emblem||Ike is a powerful lord who appears in the Fire Emblem series. Unlike in the prequel, Ike is a quick and weaker character, using an Iron Sword instead of the Ragnell. Ike uses powerful moves such as Power Slice (Neutral), Quick Jab (Side), Uppercut (Up), Dual Slice (Down), and Finishing Jab (Final Smash).|
|Pit||Kid Icarus||Pit is Palutena's, goddess of the sky, main servant. Being an angel, Pit has the ability to glide and fly (for a certain amount of time). Pit is able to use the many weapons of the heavens including Palutena's Arrow (Neutral), Angel Ring (Side), Wings of Icarus (Up), Mirror Shield (Down). Palutena's Army (Final Smash) is a very weak move compared to other final smashes, and is made up in speed.|
|Donkey Kong||Donkey Kong||DK is a strong ape who lives in the jungle of Donkey Kong Island. DK is very powerful, and will use moves such as: Giant Punch (Neutral), Barrel Roll (Side), Spinning Kong (Up), Hand Slap (Down) and Konga Beat (Final Smash).|
Zero Suit Samus
|Metroid||Samus is an almost-indestructable chozo-human hybrid who is very smart and courageous. Samus uses many powerful weapons, including: Charge Shot (Neutral), Missile (Side), Screw Attack (Up), Bomb (Down) and Zero Laser. When the Zero Laser is used, Samus will turn into Zero Suit Samus, who is a more agile and quick version of Samus, who has a huge knockback. Zero Suit Samus' moves are: Paralyzer (Neutral), Plasma Whip (Side), Plasma Wire (Up), Flip Jump (Down) and Power Suit Samus (Final Smash).|
|Fox McCloud||Star Fox||Fox McCloud is the current leader of the Star Fox team and the son of the first Star Fox leader, James McCloud. Fox uses many technologies created by his friend Slippy Toad, including: Blaster (Neutral), Fox Illusion (Side), Fire Fox (Up), Reflector (Down) and Landmaster (Final Smash).|
|Diddy Kong||Donkey Kong||Diddy Kong is the infamous Donkey Kong's nephew and one of the many members of the Kong Family. Diddy uses many moves such as Peanut Popgun (Neutral), Monkey Flip (Side), Rocketbarrel Boost (Up), Barrel Blocker (Down) and Rocketbarrel Barrage (Final Smash).|
|Yoshi||Yoshi||Yoshi is a fire-breathing, adventurous dinosaur who resides on Yoshi Island, and island in the land of Dinosaur Land. Yoshi uses simple moves such as Egg Lay (Neutral), Egg Roll (Side), Egg Throw or Yoshi Bomb (Down), Egg Bounce (Up) and Super Dragon (Final Smash).|

- Bomberman from the company "Konami"
- Unlike the past SSB games, which were all developed by Sora and HAL Laboratories, this game also has many other developers to be helping, including Ghoul Games, Inc., Retro Studios (Donkey Kong Country Returns/Mario Kart 7), Fuel Industries (Fairies and Dragons), Konami (Metal Gear Solid), Ubisoft (Assassin's Creed), Capcom (Megaman), Intelligent Systems (various Paper Mario and WarioWare games), Genius Sonority (Pokémon Colosseum) and Next Level Games (Super Mario Strikers).
