SSBRemix
Super Smash Bros. Remix follows Ultimate as the seventh entry in the Super Smash Bros. series. This game takes on more of an author-appeal approach, and as such is less realistic than other Smash games. A large focus of this game is to introduce interesting newcomers, and rework veterans.

New Features[]

Game Mechanics
  • Most characters now have an additional move, which can be activated via specific button inputs. For example, Mario can use a Ground Pound move by using his Down Special in midair, and Inkling can use a Shield Special to recover ink.
    • Counter attacks are now assigned to Shield Specials.
  • Combos now gain additional damage for how many unique hits you land in a row. Try to mix things up for better results!
  • Some characters now deal damage from footstooling opponents - notably the main Mario cast.
  • Sudden Death now has the screen gradually zoom in, shrinking the blast zone.
  • Jumping backwards now leads much more fluidly into a backwards aerial.
  • Perfact Parrying a Grab will cause your opponent to be stunned.
  • You can now grab and throw a teammate, dealing no damage, but bringing them into the action quicker.
  • If you suffer any significant attack at 999% damage, you will immediately be KO'd.
  • Aerial attacks can now be charged. The duration is much smaller than smash attacks, as is the difference between charged and uncharged.
  • The longer you hold your shield out for, the more shield damage you will take.
  • The Y button is now used to shorthop or more easily footstool.
Aesthetics
  • Palette swaps can now be made from scratch in the Spray Studio. These cannot be used online, however.
  • Stickers have been added to the Camera.
  • In matches with 3 or more fighters, the player in last place will have a unique losing animation on the results screen.
  • Special effects for attacks are now inspired by comic books.
Music
  • You can now create a Mixtape from My Music.
  • Songs can now change mid-battle, though this can be turned off.
  • You can now upload custom music to be played during battles or in menus.
Miscellaneous
  • The announcer now exclaims "The winner is..."
  • Character select is once again before stage select, and your selection will carry over between consecutive matches.

SMO Art - Mario

Mario
MarioHeadSSBU
Mario's been a staple of gaming ever since his debut in Donkey Kong. Known for his jumping skills, he's got a great aerial game, with many options to boot. His downward aerial has been replaced with a Star Spin, his dash attack is now a roll, and he deals some minor damage when footstooling enemies. Not to mention his alternate costumes, new Side Special, and brand new Aerial Down Special!
Moveset
Entrance Mario jumps out of a pipe, exclaiming "Let's-a-go!"
Jump Options Mario brings with him his trademark Triple Jump, which is an extra-high jump activated after two consecutive jumps. Footstooling enemies not only sends them downward, but it also deals some extra damage! Mario's new downward aerial, the Star Spin, grants him a small bit of height, as opposed to his new Aerial Down Special, which sends him plummeting.
In addition, Mario can enter a Long Jump by jumping out of his dash attack animation, or his crouch with a bit of momentum.
Wall Jump Though a rather minor attribute, Mario can kick himself off of walls in aid of a third jump. It won't come into play much, but it could be the difference between a save and a self-destruct!
Standard Special
Fireball
Mario shoots a bouncing fireball from his hand. It's weak enough, but it travels a good distance, and causes enemies to flinch. You're not gonna get any kills with it, though.
  • Fire Blast - Mario shoots a fast-moving fireball that travels through the air. Though more powerful overall, Mario suffers a bit of recoil damage.
  • Ice Ball - The regular fireball is replaced with a ball of ice, replacing all its fiery properties with the potential to freeze enemies.
  • Koopa Shell - Mario kicks a Koopa Shell forward, acting just like the item.
Side Special
Cappy
Mario throws Cappy forward like a frisbee. If timed correctly, Cappy can reflect projectiles. By holding the special button, Cappy will stay in place, acting as a good zoning tool, or to trap enemies. Run into Cappy to get a boosted jump! In midair, it's a good idea to double tap the special button to get Mario to dive toward Cappy.
  • Reflecting Cappy - Cappy can reflect projectiles, even while held in place! However, he won't deal much damage to enemies.
  • Capturing Cappy - If Cappy hits an enemy, he'll jump on their head and stun them. You can't hold Cappy in place, though.
  • Homing Cappy - Cappy will home in on nearby opponents. This version of the move lacks the ability to dive.
Up Special
Super Jump Punch
Mario jumps into the air, his fist outstretched. If he hits an enemy, SMO Art - Regional Coin Outline (Sand) Coins will fly out. Which kind of Regional Coins depends on the stage, though!
  • Tanooki Jump - Mario spins around with a Tanooki Tail, and then hovers upward. The move finishes off with him transforming into stone for a few frames, with the potential to meteor smash! It's not the best recovery option, though.
  • Cape Jump - Mario outstretches a cape, and ascends diagonally. It's a great recovery, but deals no damage.
  • Propeller Jump - Mario uses a Propeller Block to fly upwards, and then hover gently downwards. Only the propeller itself can deal damage.
Down Special
F.L.U.D.D.
Mario pulls out F.L.U.D.D. and charges it up. Once charged, it can be stored indefinitely. F.L.U.D.D. can shoot a blast of water that deals no damage, but pushes enemies back, acting as a great zoning tool.
  • Scalding F.L.U.D.D. - The pushing effect isn't great on this variation of the move, but it's capable of inflicting damage!
  • Freezing F.L.U.D.D. - While Freezing F.L.U.D.D. takes a while to charge, it's able to freeze opponents!
  • Bubble Blower F.L.U.D.D. - This move operates at close range, trapping an opponent in a bubble for a short time, making them vulnerable, and lighter.
Aerial Down Special
Ground Pound
Mario comes crashing to the ground in his signature Ground Pound move. This will cancel out any potential Triple Jumps.
Final Smash
Mario Finale
Mario fires a barrage of flames from his hands, travelling across the stage. The flames can carry enemies offstage with it, but it's sure to leave a mark even if it doesn't KO them.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Mario twirls around and takes off his hat.
  • Side Taunt - Randomly alternates between an open palm, a victory sign, or a fistpump.
  • Down Taunt - Mario takes a short nap. Cappy hovers over him judgingly.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Mario's signature red cap.
Classic Mode
Let's-A-Go!
Mario's Classic Mode has him on a journey to take down Bowser, jumping through worlds and stomping on foes! After Bowser's defeat, he'll come back as Giga Bowser! The Bonus Game is based around use of Mario's various jumps, and Cappy.

274px-Luigi Pose - Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon

Luigi
LuigiHeadSSBU
Luigi, the sibling in the shadows, steps into the spotlight for Smash Bros.! He sports some similar moves to his brother, but Luigi is a lot more slippery, and has a higher jump. His attacks are all rather quirky - he even uses a balloon in his forward smash! He carries Mario's jumping options and Ground Pound, but sports newer moves like the Luiginary Sneeze to make sure opponents don't make it back to the stage. His Poltergust 5000 allows him to grab enemies from afar, and works well in tandem with his new Poltergust tilt and smash attacks!
Moveset
Entrance Luigi jumps out of a pipe, looking terrified.
Jump Options Luigi brings with him the trademark Triple Jump, which is an extra-high jump activated after two consecutive jumps. Footstooling enemies not only sends them downward, but it also deals some extra damage! Luigi's new downward aerial, the Luigi Cyclone, grants him a small bit of height, as opposed to his new Aerial Down Special, which sends him plummeting.
In addition, Luigi can enter a Long Jump by jumping out of his crouch with a bit of momentum.
Balloon Luigi's forward smash has him popping a balloon. However, this balloon needs time to recharge! Otherwise, he'll use a weaker version of his old forward smash.
Grab
Poltergust Plunger
Luigi's grab involves him shooting a plunger from his Poltergust 5000. This also works as a tether grab when offstage!
Standard Special
Fireball
Luigi shoots a floating green fireball from his hand. It's weak enough, but it travels a good distance, and causes enemies to flinch. You're not gonna get any kills with it, though.
  • Bouncing Fireball - Instead of travelling through the air, this fireball obeys the laws of physics.
  • Electroball - Luigi fires a ball of electricity that travels much faster than the fireball.
  • Thunderhand - Luigi launches a barrage of electricity from his hand, acting as a powerful close-range attack.
Side Special
Green Missile
Luigi charges himself up, then launches himself like a missile. Input an attack in midair to come to an explosive finish!
  • Green Lightning - Engulf yourself in lightning! It's the Green Thunder, Luigi!
  • Gooey Missile -
  • Misfired Missile - This variation of the attack has the chance to misfire, launching Luigi ever so slightly, but dealing immense damage.
Up Special
Super Jump Punch
Luigi jumps into the air, his fist outstretched. If he hits an enemy, Coin Coins will fly out.
  • Spring Jump - Luigi takes a bit to execute this jump, but it's way higher and packs a punch!
  • Poltergust Bluster - Luigi jumps with the aid of the Poltergust 5000, shooting a gust of wind below him.
  • Hammer Uppercut - Luigi swings his hammer upwards, dealing heavy damage, but isn't great for recovery. Stay grounded if you're on the ground.
Down Special
Luiginary Sneeze
Luigi unleashes a sneeze, creating a large windbox with dreamy effects. Great for keeping enemies away or edgeguarding.
  • Luiginary Tickle - This version of the attack takes a while to execute, but the sneeze is much larger!
  • Luiginary Sunbeam - Lacks a windbox, but you're able to burn your foes.
  • Luiginary Ice - Has the ability to freeze opponents, but doesn't have a windbox.
Aerial Down Special
Ground Pound
Luigi comes crashing to the ground in his signature Ground Pound move. This will cancel out any potential Triple Jumps.
Final Smash
Poltergust 5000
Luigi sucks in enemies into his Poltergust, struggles with it for a while, and then launches them out!
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Makes L signs with his hands, then uses them as finger guns.
  • Side Taunt - Planks onto the ground.
  • Down Taunt - Luigi kicks the ground halfheartedly. Can meteor smash.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Luigi's signature green cap.
Classic Mode
Sidekick's Shadow
Luigi's Classic mode has him taking on various sidekicks of all definitions. The Bonus Game is based around his many jumping options, and his recovery abilities.

SuperMarioParty Peach

Peach
PeachHeadSSBU
Peach, the heartfelt princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, returns to fight, and is one of the eight starting characters. She's a light character, but one of the slower lightweights in the game. Despite this, Peach excels in the air, with some powerful moves like her forward aerial, and new Aerial Down Special. With a high midair jump, the ability to hover, and a recovery move extending her parasol, Peach can keep herself in the air for a long time, where she has the most potential. Of course, she still retains her forward smash, which can once again have the tools be chosen. Many of her moves are now two-part attacks, involving her parasol opening. For a few frames in every attack, her parasol can act as a shield!
Moveset
Entrance Peach appears in a flurry of hearts, winking and waving at the camera.
Crouch Peach cannot move while crouching, but holds her parasol over her head, reducing damage and knockback from attacks that hit her parasol.
Hover By holding the jump input, Peach can gracefully hover through the air for a while, granting her access to all her aerial moves.
Standard Special
Toad
Peach summons a Toad, who jumps in front of his princess to protect her. If the Toad is attacked, he will emit a blast of spores to counter.
  • Fire Toad - Instead of a blast of spores, Toad will shoot a blast of fire similar to a Fire Flower. The strength of this move is dependent on the strength of the move it's countering.
  • Cape Toad - Toad will whip out a cape when attacked, functioning similarly to Mario's retired Cape move, and reflecting projectiles and turning enemies around.
  • Cat Toad - This Toad has a much larger and longer hitbox, but his counterattack pounce is a bit more difficult to be hit by.
Side Special
Peach Bomber
Peach lunges forward with her hips, dealing heavy damage and knockback if she hits an enemy. This move doubles as an excellent recovery.
  • Flower Bomber - Has a longer range, but deals very little damage or knockback. On the flipside, it gives the enemy a Lip's Stick effect.
  • Angry Bomber - Though the Burning Bomber has much shorter range, contact with an enemy will cause a lot of fire damage.
  • Joyful Bomber - This variation is significantly weaker, but a second whack of her parasol will definitely send the target flying.
Up Special
Parasol
Peach opens her parasol, and lets the breeze lift her up. This move can now more reliably KO at high percentages, and carries opponents. After reaching her maximum height, Peach will slowly hover down with her parasol, though you can fall quickly if you need.
  • Joyful Parasol - A weaker rendition of the move, which surrounds Peach with windboxes, and has a much stronger knockback.
  • Calm Parasol - Doesn't go as high, since Peach doesn't open her parasol until the end of the move. On the other hand, this move is much stronger.
  • Gloomy Parasol - Peach jumps with her parasol, then closes it. Afterwards, she opens it once again and flies up a much greater height, but doesn't deal any damage.
Down Special
Vegetable
Peach plucks a vegetable from the ground, allowing her to throw it as a projectile. Though turnips are exceedingly common - each one does a different amount of damage based on the facial expression - you can pluck some other items, listed below in order of rarity.
  • Mega Veggie - Bigger vegetables take longer to uproot, but the KO potential is worth it! Unfortunately, you can't throw them very far.
  • Featherweight Veggie - A much quicker pluck brings out a much smaller vegetable, which deals less damage, but travels farther.
  • Stubborn Veggie - Peach attempts to pluck a vegetable, but it's stuck in the ground! Instead of uprooting an item, Peach creates a small earthquake.
Aerial Down Special
Pluck
Whereas in previous installments Peach had no Down Special in the air, she now has a variation of her regular Vegetable move. Instead of grabbing a vegetable, Peach grabs an opponent below her, and pulls them up, before kicking them with both feet, and meteor smashing them.
Final Smash
Peach Blossom
Peach does a short dance as artworks of her frame the screen. When she's finished, her enemies will be put to sleep, and large peaches will spawn, healing 20% damage to whoever eats them. Will you get in some quick kills, or prioritise healing yourself?
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Peach twirls her parasol, and brushes her hair aside.
  • Side Taunt - Peach dances, singing to herself.
  • Down Taunt - Peach's crown reveals itself to be Tiara, who floats in front of Peach and cheers her on.
Kirby Hat Kirby dons Peach's signature crown.
Classic Mode
In Another Castle
Peach's Classic Mode takes place on castle-themed stages, facing off against the villains guarding these castles. The Bonus Game is based around her significant aerial game, and has many large gaps to traverse.

Daisy SMP box2

Daisy
DaisyHeadSSBU
Daisy is the tomboyish princess of Sarasaland, and Peach's Echo Fighter. The two play pretty similarly, though Daisy has a slightly shorter reach due to being, well, shorter. This time around, Daisy has retired her parasol, and uses various sports equipment in her moveset in place of it. Her new recovery move allows her to glide using a dandelion, and her Down Special is a luck-based move involving Dice Blocks from the Mario Party games.
Moveset
Entrance Daisy appears in a gust of wind and petals, confidently giving a thumbs-up.
Striker Gear Though Daisy cannot hover, and lacks Peach's crouching guard, Daisy makes use of a Striker Ball in many of her smash attacks and her dash attack. The angle at which the ball is hit can be adjusted, and Daisy has unique attack animations for interacting with Striker Balls.
Standard Special
Toad
Daisy summons a Blue Toad, who jumps in front of the princess to protect her. If the Toad is attacked, he will emit a blast of spores to counter.
  • Fire Toad - Instead of a blast of spores, Toad will shoot a blast of fire similar to a Fire Flower. The strength of this move is dependent on the strength of the move it's countering.
  • Flowery Toad - Toad's counterattack is weaker, though it will give the enemy a flower on their head, slowly damaging them.
  • Sleepy Toad - This Toad won't attack your enemy, but instead send them to sleep.
Side Special
Daisy Bomber
Daisy lunges forward with her hips, dealing heavy damage and knockback if she hits an enemy. This move doubles as an excellent recovery.
  • Flower Bomber - Has a longer range, but deals very little damage or knockback. On the flipside, it gives the enemy a Lip's Stick effect.
  • Blazing Bomber - Though the Burning Bomber has much shorter range, contact with an enemy will cause a lot of fire damage.
  • Dazzling Bomber - This variation has a short range, but can stun enemies if you hit a sweetspot.
Up Special
Dandelion
Daisy pulls out a dandelion, and lets the breeze lift her up. After the initial updraft, you have one spin attack to gain extra height. Much like Peach's parasol, this allows Daisy to float down peacefully.
  • Wilting Dandelion - Doesn't get as much height, but the petals falling off the dandelion will deal damage.
  • Breezy Dandelion - The initial updraft goes much higher and deals damage, but removes the option of a spin attack.
  • Helicopter Bloom - Daisy instead uses a flower with four leaves, which spin around like helicopter blades. Functionally similar to Piranha Plant's Up Special.
Down Special
Dice Block
Daisy produces a Dice Block from the ground - which transforms into a board space. Daisy can, much like Peach, throw this Block to inflict damage on enemies. However, the Dice Block can have any number from 1-6, with each number having different strengths.
  • Daisy Dice Block - Contains numbers 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4. A much more reliable move, especially with 4's good KO potential!
  • Risky Dice Block - Contains numbers 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 7. The 7 can really make a mark!
  • Peach Dice Block - Contains numbers 0, 2, 4, 4, 4, 6. If you can't make it to the top, 0 will create a healing field!
Final Smash
Daisy Strike
Daisy screams "Oh yeah!" and jumps into the sky, causing crystals to rain down, entrapping opponents. Functionally similar to Peach's Final Smash, though with no healing items, and trapped foes stay immobile much longer than sleeping foes.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Daisy gives a victory sign.
  • Side Taunt - Daisy does a taunting dance.
  • Down Taunt - Daisy puts her hands on her hips, exclaiming "C'mon!"
Kirby Hat Kirby dons Daisy's signature crown.
Classic Mode
Roulette Rush
Daisy's Classic Mode has her taking on opponents that use moves with "random" aspects, like Mr Game & Watch's Judge move. The Bonus Game is based around her ability to use ranged projectiles in a hurry.

Bowser MP10

Bowser
BowserHeadSSBU
Bowser's the big, bad Koopa King! His Dastardliness is a heavy hitter who comes to the fray with punches, lunges, claws, and fire breath. Not to mention his spiky shell! His new down smash has him breathing an explosive fireball at the ground in front of him - in fact his moveset is more fiery than ever! Bowser will bombard you with relentless attacks, grabs, all with terrifying speed.
Moveset
Entrance Bowser, covered in flames, strikes a menacing pose.
Tough Guy Bowser's a real tough guy, made of shells and scales. As such, he won't even flinch at attacks below a certain damage threshold! Use your brute force to power through measly jabs and arrows with ease.
Spiky Shell Bowser's recovery isn't great, but that's okay! If an enemy dares to try and footstool him, they'll take a bit of damage. This even applies to characters like Mario who can deal damage with footstools.
Standard Special
Fire Breath
Bowser breathes fire from his mouth, which gradually gets weaker and the range decreasing. Great for racking up damage and making enemies flinch.
  • Fire Ball - Bowser spits a large, bouncing fireball.
  • Poison Breath - Bowser spews a spray that doesn't cause any flinching, but will gradually poison enemies.
  • Vortex Flame - Bowser inhales, like in Bowser's Inside Story, and then spews a blast of fire.
Side Special
Flying Slam
Bowser grabs his opponent and jumps into the air and straight back down, crushing them underneath him.
  • Thwomp Slam - Bowser grabs the enemy and jumps, before promptly crushing them with a Thwomp. Less powerful, with little follow-up potential, but keeps Bowser afloat.
  • Rolling Slam - Bowser grabs his opponent, before rolling up into his shell and running them over.
  • Koopa Klaw - Bowser scrapes his claws forward, creating a poisonous scratch effect that lingers for a short time.
Up Special
Whirling Fortress
Bowser curls into his shell and spins around, gradually gaining height.
  • Hurricane Fortress - Bowser spins around in his shell, creating a whirlwind that sweeps him upward more, but doesn't deal much damage.
  • Flaming Fortress - Much more powerful, with a larger hitbox, but doesn't gain as much distance.
  • Bowser Bomber - Bowser jumps upward, then comes crashing back down in a ground pound.
Down Special
Goomba Troop
A Goomba hops out of nowhere to help his king! He's weak and slow, but by pressing the attack button at the right time, you can set him on fire, making him fast and deadly.
  • Hyper Goomba Troop - A more powerful and speedy Goomba, but he can't be set on fire.
  • Paragoomba Troop - A flying Goomba! That's it.
  • Koopa Troop - Bowser summons a Koopa Troopa, who acts similarly to a Goomba. By attacking it, the Koopa will retreat into its shell to be used as an item.
Final Smash
Giga Bowser
Bowser is covered in a purple aura, and reappears behind the stage, massive and terrifying. He aims his fist, and punches. This is done twice, though the second blow is more powerful.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Bowser breathes a cloud of smoke.
  • Side Taunt - Bowser puts his hands on his hips, and looks proud.
  • Down Taunt - Bowser flexes, snorting fire.
Kirby Hat Kirby gets horns, Bowser's mo-hawk, and his angry eyebrows.

YoshiCraftedWorld - Yoshi

Yoshi
YoshiHeadSSBU
Yoshi's been Mario's companion since he was a baby! He's gone on many adventures with his red-capped friend, and a good few on his own. In this installment, Yoshi sports his look from Yoshi's Crafted World, wool and all. He's a floaty midweight character with a lot of variety in his moveset, with some unconventional grabs and jumps.
Moveset
Entrance Yoshi hatches from an egg, striking a pose.
Flutter / Scuttle Jump Yoshi's second jump has great height, being his signature Flutter Jump. After a Flutter Jump, Yoshi can perform a Scuttle Jump by holding the jump input, slowing his descent.
Grab Yoshi's grab has a long reach, using his tongue. His throws all involve trapping his enemy in an egg and throwing them - much like his Egg Lay and Egg Throw moves. This deals some great knockback, but it's easy to recover from at low percentages. This works as a tether recovery.
Shield Yoshi's Shield encases him in a large egg. It's slightly weaker than most shields, but covers Yoshi's whole body.
Standard Special
Egg Lay
Yoshi sticks out his tongue and swallows an enemy, releasing them out the other end as a large egg. They'll break out in a short time, but damage and knockback can be dealt in the meantime. If Yoshi swallows an item, projectile, or one of the stars from Yoshi Bomb, the egg will follow him around, allowing him to use his Egg Throw. A maximum of 6 eggs can follow Yoshi at a time, and his tongue can be used as a tether recovery.
  • Yoshi Tongue - Doesn't lay an egg from the enemy, instead chewing them and then spitting them out.
  • Red Egg Lay - Creates red eggs, which can take more damage before being destroyed.
  • Fireball Spit - Instead of laying an egg, Yoshi has the option to spit a fireball.
Side Special
Egg Throw
Yoshi throws one of the eggs following him. This can be aimed, and the interface is very much similar to the original Yoshi's Island interface.
  • Arced Throw - Throws eggs in an arc. Can be used in the air to gain a small bit of extra air time.
  • Twisting Throw - Yoshi spins around as he throws the egg. You have less time to aim, but this attack is more powerful.
  • Egg Bomb - These eggs explode upon impact! What's Yoshi been eating?
Up Special
Wing Flutter
Yoshi sprouts a pair of small wings, allowing him three extra jumps. A simple move for a simple dinosaur.
  • Rainbow Flutter - Yoshi is launched upward, followed by a rainbow trail.
  • P-Wing - Yoshi is propelled upward, and fires a fireball from his mouth at the peak of his jump.
  • Cape Feather - Yoshi holds up a yellow cape, gaining height and allowing him to cancel out of the attack at any time to perform a cape spin.
Down Special
Yoshi Bomb
Yoshi jumps into the air and comes crashing back down, sending out a star on either side that he can swallow. If used in midair, Yoshi skips the initial jump.
  • Bulb Bomb - Doesn't deal any damage, but stuns opponents upon impact.
  • Bubble Blow - Yoshi spits out a large bubble. This does nothing but bounce players off it, and burst when it takes damage. Even if you blew the bubble, you can still be hurt by it.
  • Jackhammer Morph - Yoshi transforms into a jackhammer, burying opponents.
Final Smash
Mega Eggdozer
Yoshi throws a massive egg that travels across the stage.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Yoshi spins around in a circle, then strikes a pose. "Yoshi!"
  • Side Taunt - Yoshi stands straight upright and looks around, his hands close to his chest.
  • Down Taunt - Yoshi twirls on one foot and then winks. A Star from his home series appears temporarily.
Kirby Hat Kirby gets to wear a Yoshi hat, with his eyes and nose.

Link
LinkHeadSSBU
Link's been reincarnated more times than anybody can count, and this iteration of Link comes from the Era of Calamity. Interestingly, he comes with a female alternate costume, and we're not talking about the Gerudo Vai outfit. Wielding the Master Sword with ease, Link is a heavy hitter, who's among the heavier of the midweights. His Smash attacks now utilise harder hitting weapons from Breath of the Wild, like the Stone Smasher and the Traveller's Axe. As such, he's a menace at close range, but also packs an arsenal for ranged attacking, such as his Duplex Bow, or Remote Bombs.
Moveset
Entrance Link appears in a swarm of blue energy, teleporting with the Sheikah Slate.
Hylian Shield
Perfect Parry
Flurry Rush
Instead of the standard guard, Link holds his Hylian Shield in front of him, protecting him from the front. Though his back is vulnerable, this shield is infinite, though Link can still suffer some knockback if the shield is worn down.
By using a standard attack just as Link himself is being attacked, he will do a shield bash, parrying the attack and stunning the enemy, or simply reflecting a projectile.
Alternatively, use the special attack button to enter a Flurry Rush. Time slows down as Link goes all out, slashing his opponent. Think carefully about which shielding technique to use!
Master Sword When at 0% damage, Link can shoot beams of energy from his sword.
Wall Cling Link has the ability to cling onto walls, and climb up a bit. He can't attack while he does this, but it's helpful to know.
Standard Special
Duplex Bow
Link takes aim, and fires two arrows from his bow. The longer you charge, the further they'll fly and the more damage they'll do. If you miss, you can pick up the arrow once again to throw it! All customs of this move fire a single arrow, and cannot be picked up.
  • Fire Arrow - Link shoots an arrow imbued with fire.
  • Shock Arrow - Link shoots an arrow that electrifies opponents.
  • Bomb Arrow - Link fires an arrow that explodes on contact.
Side Special
Boomerang
Link throws a boomerang, which travels a good distance, and can carry opponents. Of course, it comes right back to Link! If he misses it, though, he can't use the move for a while.
  • Sea Breeze Boomerang - A smaller boomerang surrounded by windboxes, pushing enemies away.
  • Giant Boomerang - A massive boomerang that takes a lot of effort to throw, but can easily KO.
  • Lizalfos Arm - While not technically a boomerang, it fits the purpouse. The Lizalfos Arm deals no damage or knockback, and instead carries enemies back to Link. This can be escaped with button mashing.
Up Special
Revali's Gale
Link calls upon the power of the fallen Rito Champion, Revali. His ghostly figure appears and creates a gust of wind, which Link rides with his paraglider, entering a gliding animation. The move can be cut short by attacking Revali's ghost, though it probably won't happen very often.
  • Revali's Gale + - Launches Link much higher, at the cost of having a cooldown time. Use this wisely!
  • Revali's Landing - Link doesn't open his paraglider, and instead goes into a lunging sword attack.
  • Vah Medoh's Gale - Though this move lacks vertical recovery, it comes with a small Divine Beast sentry, who will shoot a laser at nearby enemies, stunning them.
Down Special
Remote Bomb
Link summons a circular Remote Bomb, and tosses it as he pleases. Use your Down Special again to detonate the bomb!
  • Remote Bomb + - The explosion is much deadlier, but it's on a timer instead of being a manual activation.
  • Cubed Remote Bomb - The same as the default move, but without the rolling.
  • Cubed Remote Bomb + - No rolling, and no detonator. Just a big bang.
Final Smash
Ancient Arrow
Link fires an Ancient Arrow from his bow, travelling in a straight line across the stage and through walls. This can KO even at low percentages.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Holds his sword up in the air as his sword glows, referencing the Skyward Strike technique.
  • Side Taunt - Link pulls one of the following out of his pocket: a silent princess, an apple, a pepper, or a Mighty Banana.
  • Down Taunt - Link pulls out his Sheikah Slate and looks through it. Camera mode reveals he's looking at one of the memory pictures!
Kirby Hat Kirby gets Link's standard hair from Breath of the Wild.
Classic Mode

Link's Classic Mode has him taking on opponents that wield swords in battle. The Bonus Game is based around his Hylian Shield, defensive options, and ranged attacks. You'll want to avoid taking damage, so you can use your Master Sword's beam at the end!

Zelda (Multiverse Mash-Up)

Zelda
ZeldaHeadSSBU
Zelda has gone through many incarnations, with this version of her coming from Hyrule Warriors. Skilled in combat and magic alike, Zelda is a zoner who can hold her own at close range. She's taller than iterations, and faster. She uses her rapier in a few of her jabs and tilts, which deal slash damage, and create small windboxes.
Moveset
Entrance Zelda appears using Farore's Wind.
Lightning Kick Zelda's forward and back air attacks involve her kicking; a very powerful move with a sweetspot. The forward aerial has less endlag, while the back aerial has an easier sweetspot.
Standard Special
Nayru's Love
Zelda creates a blue crystal around herself, reflecting projectiles and damaging foes. The reflecting frames have been slightly increased, and once the crystal shatters, it deals 1% damage in a small radius.
  • Din's Blizzard - Doesn't reflect projectiles, but deals heavy ice damage.
  • Sage Seal - Creates a circle of energy around Zelda for a few frames, stunning enemies.
  • Spirit Barrier - Doesn't deal any damage, but reflects projectiles back twice as strong.
Side Special
Din's Fire
Zelda shoots a ball of fire that detonates when the button is released. It is now a two hit move, and can be cancelled out of to deal just one measly blast. When used in midair, Zelda glides significantly more than in previous installments.
  • Din's Fury - Deals damage even as it flies, but doesn't travel as far.
  • Light Arrow - Zelda fires an arrow that travels straight and deals magic damage. Takes a while to execute.
  • Fairy Locks - Zelda outstretches her arm, as a pink blast resembling a Great Fairy's hair is shot out.
Up Special
Farore's Wind
Zelda vanishes in a flurry of green and yellow ribbons, reappearing elsewhere. An excellent recovery with a lot of versatility - you can teleport in place, or finish up a combo!
  • Farore's Gust - Takes a bit to execute, but deals great knockback.
  • Light Spirit - Zelda is surrounded in a light energy and is blasted upward.
  • Golden Crest - The ribbons are replaced with a Triforce symbol, and as Zelda vanishes, the pieces are shot out. Doesn't have great range, though.
Down Special
Phantom Slash
Zelda summons a Phantom, who will charge forward and slash after a set amount of time, or when Zelda attacks. The Phantom can be defeated.
  • Swift Phantom - Much quicker to charge, but way easier to defeat.
  • Phantom Eye - Has a fixed amount of damage, but will attack as soon as an enemy comes into its view.
  • Dominion Rod - Zelda summons a statue to fall. If it lands on an enemy, they'll be trapped, allowing Zelda to wail on them.
Final Smash
Sacred Seal
Zelda creates a triangular portal, which will drag in enemies. After racking up damage, they'll be expelled whatever way Zelda is facing. If they're over 120%, they'll be instantly KO'd.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Zelda waves goodbye.
  • Side Taunt - Zelda strikes a pose with her baton, playing the item jingle from her home series.
  • Down Taunt - Zelda holds a ball of fire between her hands. Upon closer inspection, it contains Nayru's symbol.
Kirby Hat Kirby dons Zelda's hair and headpiece.

Zelda's Classic Mode has her taking on opponents of all different species in search of a worthy Champion. The Bonus Game is based around her Lightning Kick and Meteor Heel, as well as Nayru's Love and Farore's Wind. Truly, you'll need to use your wisdom.

Samus
Samus Stoc
Samus, the intergalactic bounty hunter, is an agile tank capable of delivering some powerful hits. Her Power Suit is packed with tools and weapons, like bombs and missiles! As such, she's a menace at both close-range and projectile combat. Of course, she's a tall target, and some of her moves take a while to execute. She now has her Melee Counter side tilt, opening up new possibilities.
Moveset
Entrance Samus emerges from a Save Station.
Grab
Grapple Beam
Samus shoots a small energy whip from her arm cannon, giving her grab extra reach.
Side Tilt
Melee Counter
Samus's side tilt allows her to counter most melee attacks. If successful, she swipes the opponents into the air and then fires lasers at them.
Standard Special
Charge Shot
Samus charges up a ball of energy, then launches it. Charges can be stored and resumed or shot at any time.
  • Power Beam - Samus shoots a small sphere of energy from her arm cannon. Functionally similar to Fox's Blaster, with a slight stun effect.
  • Wave Beam - Samus fires three beams that stick with one another, occasionally forming a wave. Can be charged, but not stored.
  • Nova Beam - Samus fires a laser that deals high damage, but no knockback or hitstun. Can be charged, but not stored.
Side Special
Ice Beam
Samus takes a step back, then fires an icy laser from her arm cannon, freezing enemies.
  • Missile - Samus fires either a small homing missile or a larger, linear missile depending on how long this move is held.
  • Diffusion Missile - A weaker missile that, when exploding, creates a large, icy blast zone.
  • Wavebuster - Samus fires a burst of energy a set distance away, stunning any enemies caught in the blast.
Up Special
Screw Attack
Samus curls up and, enveloped in electricity, somersaults upward using her signature Screw Attack. This can carry enemies, but isn't a great combo finisher.
  • Space Jump - Samus jumps up high. She can still attack and move about freely, but her gravity is significantly lowered.
  • Shinespark - Samus dashes in the inputted direction in a yellow flash. Doesn't have great range, but can meteor smash.
  • Power Grip - Samus leaps forward a small bit. If she grabs an enemy, she'll latch on and automatically footstool them, dealing significant damage and bring Samus higher.
Down Special
Bomb
Samus curls into her Morph Ball and drops a small bomb. This will explode in a second, dealing a bit of damage and knockback. Samus also gains a little bit of height and mobility from using this move in midair.
  • Boost Ball - Samus, in her Morph Ball form, charges forward, rolling around at the speed of sound.
  • Hyper Ball - Samus curls into her Morph Ball and releases a burst of energy.
  • Seeker - Samus plants a small missile in the ground, which will fly up and home in on enemies after a moment.
Final Smash
Power Bomb
Samus drops a bomb, much like her Down Special. This bomb, however, detonates instantly, and has a slightly larger radius than the Smart Bomb item, as well as packing a larger punch.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - The visor on Samus's helmet deactivates, and she takes a breather.
  • Side Taunt - Samus points her arm cannon at the screen as it opens slightly.
  • Down Taunt - The thrusters on her suit activate, and Samus gets ready for action.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Samus's helmet. It's a bit too big for him.

R.O.B.
ROBHeadSSBU
The Robotic Operating Buddy, R.O.B., was an accessory that came with the NES, though he was really only compatible with two games: Gyromite and Stack-Up. Now his own master, R.O.B. is excellent at creating combos with his rotating arms and base. Many of his moves utilise blasts from his base, which will propel him in the opposite direction. He's got a new down smash, which summons a Stack-Up set, as well as his battery power playing heavily into his moveset.
Moveset
Entrance R.O.B.'s parts fall from the sky as he is assembled.
Battery Powered A battery meter appears alongside R.O.B.'s damage percentage, though this can also be measured by the strength of the glowing light on R.O.B.'s head. R.O.B. recharges power over time - rather quickly, actually - but his Robo Beam and Robo Burner will use this up.
Standard Special
Robo Beam
R.O.B. fires a laser from his eyes, the strength of which depends on how much battery power he has. A full-powered blast will use 2/3 of your energy tank.
  • Conservative Beam - Fires small burst of lasers that use little energy, like Fox's lasers.
  • Robo Burst - Creates a close-range burst of energy.
  • Mega Robo Beam - Uses up all of your energy, but has the potential to be devastating when fully charged.
Side Special
Arm Rotor
R.O.B. spins his arms rapidly, ending in an upward jab. Opponents can easily be trapped in the rotation, and pressing the special button will increase the duration of the move.
  • Arm Fan - R.O.B. stays in place, rotating his arms to create a gust of wind that does no damage, but pushes enemies backwards.
  • Reflective Rotary - A slightly weaker version of the move that reflects projectiles.
  • Arm Drill - Angled downwards, R.O.B. does not intend to launch his enemy, but instead bury them.
Up Special
Robo Burner
R.O.B. uses his base to propel himself upwards with fire. Can be cancelled out or resumed at any time, and neutral aerials can be used. Eats up your battery power, though.
  • Robo Rise - Much easier on the battery, and gets you a further distance, but grants no horizontal movement.
  • Robo Twist - A small jump that doesn't use any battery power, but won't get you far.
  • Robo Rocket - Uses up a good chunk of your battery, but sends R.O.B. flying into the air.
Down Special
Gyro
R.O.B. charges a Gyro in its stand, which can be used as an item or projectile. You can use some of your battery power in order to charge it faster.
  • Burning Gyro - Takes longer to charge, but less battery power. Inflicts fire damage.
  • Shocking Gyro - Uses up more battery power, but charges quicker. Inflicts electric damage.
  • Mega Gyro - Takes slightly longer to charge, but cannot be sped up. It's much more powerful, but cannot be picked up. Instead it can be launched around the stage.
Final Smash
Remixed Diffusion Beam
R.O.B. fires three lasers from small, floating devices, which home in on enemies. After readying up, R.O.B. fires a massive laser beam from his eyes at the intended target. With one powerful surge, the beam is reflected off of the target and across the stage like a prism.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - R.O.B.'s torso shifts downward, while his head rotates.
  • Side Taunt - R.O.B. skids from side to side, in an action resembling his animation while "snaking" in Mario Kart DS.
  • Down Taunt - R.O.B. appears to temporarily power down, with his body parts shifting downward, and going limp. He reboots with the Smash Bros. symbol in his eyes temporarily.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears a mask resembling his Laser copy ability.

444px-FEH Ike Vanguard Legend 01

Ike
IkeHeadSSBU
The Radiant Hero, Ike, is a mercenary who has sworn revenge against the Black Knight. This time around, Ike sports his Vanguard Legend look from Fire Emblem Heroes, which gives him some extra armour. Ike towers above most of the competition, as does his two-handed sword. He has a lot of power to his name, but his recovery is rather lacking. On the bright side, his recovery moves now have more versatility. We like Ike!
Moveset
Entrance Ike emerges from a burst of blue flames with his sword over his shoulder. "Prepare yourself."
Standard Special
Eruption
Ike holds his sword in the air, then thrusts it into the ground to create pillars of blue flames. Can be charged for maximum damage output.
  • Sol - Has a much smaller area of effect, but as enemies are damaged, Ike will restore a bit of health.
  • Warding Breath - Has a fixed charge, somewhere in the middle. It's quick to execute, though!
  • Shove - This move can't be charged. Instead of creating fire, Ike creates a large windbox. Great for edgeguarding and pressure.
Side Special
Quick Draw
Ike readies up, then charges forward in a given direction. As soon as he makes contact with an enemy, he delivers a slash with Ragnell. Charge time for this move in the air is much quicker.
  • Armsthrift - This version of the move is considerably weaker, but allows Ike to steal an enemy's held item.
  • Intuition - Has a smaller range, but the charge can be stored for later.
  • Steady Stance - Ike goes the full length of his charge, burying opponents in the process.
Up Special
Aether
Ike throws Ragnell high into the air and jumps after it, plummeting with his blade outstretched. Now, your blade can be thrown diagonally instead of directly upwards.
  • Radiant Aether - Grants you no horizontal movement, but travels much higher and deals more damage.
  • New Moon - Ike throws his blade, then grabs it and delivers a powerful slice. No descending attack, and this leaves Ike helpless.
  • Daylight - This version of Aether has significantly less reach, but Ike keeps hold of Ragnell for the entire duration of the move, providing a constant hitbox.
Down Special
Forbidden Thrust
Ike readies himself up, and then thrusts Ragnell forward, surrounded by red energy. This move has power on par with the Falcon Punch, but focuses more on stunning them, in order to lead into a smash attack or other finisher.
  • Nihil - Less powerful, but this version of the move will inflict a debuff to the enemy's power.
  • Heavy Blade - This version of the move takes longer to execute, but is more powerful and can be reversed.
  • Urvan - Ike swings an axe around him, carrying opponents at low percentages.
Shield Special
Counter
Ike readies his blade. If attacked, Ike will strike back with increased power.
Final Smash
Great Aether
Ragnell is coated in flames, and Ike swings it in front of him. If it hits an opponent, Ike will deliver a flurry of sword slashes, before sending them crashing to the ground in a fiery explosion.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Ike places Ragnell in the ground in front of him and crosses his arms. Wind blows his cape back.
  • Side Taunt - Ike holds Ragnell in front of him as a wind whips up. Ike growls.
  • Down Taunt - Ike holds Ragnell over his shoulder.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Ike's headband, as well as gaining a wig resembling Ike's hair.

Lucina is the wielder of the Parallel Falchion, a perfectly balanced sword with equal weight across the blade. She is Chrom's daughter, coming from the future to prevent her grim future from ever coming to fruition. Lucina is middleweight, but fast, and her sword gives her a good range, and great zoning potential. She replaces Marth in this installment, though she doesn't gain his tipper.
Moveset
Entrance Lucina removes her mask as she descends into the battlefield.
Standard Special
Shield Breaker
Lucina readies herself and charges up the attack. She stabs forward with her Parallel Falchion, dealing massive damage to a shielding enemy.
  • Thunderbreak - Slightly weaker, but has electric effects.
  • Darting Blow - This move has a fixed charge time, dealing heavy damage as Lucina stabs forward with a large hitbox.
  • Bleed Breaker - A weaker variation of the move with more start-up lag. Allows Lucina to temporarily deal extra damage to the opponent.
Side Special
Dancing Blade
Lucina performs three slashes of her sword in quick succession. This move has great variety, as you can input a different direction after the initial attack to mix things up.
  • Dual Strike - This version of the move only has 2 slashes, but the second strikes each have elements assigned to them. Up is fire, side is wind, and down is ice.
  • Charmed Blade - This version of the move sends Lucina jumping forward a short bit at the start. This move more reliably carries enemies.
  • Silver Blade - This move has fixed upward inputs, as well as a few windboxes. Great for upward launching, but not much else.
Up Special
Dolphin Slash
Lucina slices with her blade, jumping upward at a high speed. Great vertical recovery, but you won't get very far.
  • Swift Sparrow - Lucina ascends, twirling with her sword pointed upwards. Slower, but brings you the same height.
  • Rally Speed - Lucina charges in an inputted direction. Doesn't cover as much distance as Dolphin Slash, but has more options.
  • Enlightened Edge - Slightly shorter than the original move, but Lucina will deliver a powerful slash if she makes contact with enemies, and footstooling them.
Down Special
New Moon
Lucina thrusts her blade upwards, emitting a blast of energy above her, as well as a small area around her. This move becomes more powerful the longer Lucina keeps up a combo.
  • Charm - Lucina twirls with her sword, creating an area of effect that stuns enemies.
  • Defiant - Lucina boosts her own speed and attack, while lowering her defense.
  • Distant Guard - Lucina points her sword, and a pillar of energy is created a fixed distance from her.
Shield Special
Counter
Lucina readies herself. If attacked, Lucina will lunge at her opponent with her sword.
Final Smash
Master Seal
Lucina summons the Master Seal to promote her into Great Lord. She charges across the stage at a terrifying speed, holding out a lance.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Lucina brandishes her sword, yelling "Come at me!"
  • Side Taunt - Turns her back to the camera, flipping her cape and sheathing her Parallel Falchion.
  • Down Taunt - Lucina puts a hand in front of her face.

Inkling
Sploon 2 inkling
Inklings are the Turf War-loving squid-kids from Inkopolis. They participate in ink battles for sport, in which they utilise their ink-like bodies to swim through ink in squid form and shoot it in kid form. Whichever team covers the most turf with their ink wins, though there are other rulesets available for the more competitive players. In Smash, Inklings utilise ink in their attacks to cause opponents to take more damage from their attacks and slow them down a bit. Of course, you'll need to manage your ink supply.
Moveset
Entrance Inkling jumps out of a splash of ink in her octopus form, then shakes off her ink, much like in the opening to Turf Wars.
Ink A lot of Inkling's attacks utilise ink. If an enemy is covered in your ink, they'll move a small bit slower, and you're able to deal extra damage to them! But you've only got a tankful at a time, so you'll need to balance combat and recovering ink.
Dash Inkling transforms into her octopus form for her dash, swimming through ink. Her hitbox is much smaller when dashing. Also recovers a small bit of ink.
Shield Special
Squid Form
If you're low on ink, you'll need to use this move to turn into a squid and dive into a puddle of ink to recover your supply. You're still vulnerable while in your ink, but your hitbox is much smaller.
Standard Special
Splattershot
Inkling fires a burst of ink from her primary weapon - the Octoshot. This doesn't deal much damage, nor is it great for knockback, but it's sure to douse your target in ink. You can also aim your shot a bit!
  • N-ZAP '83 - A more focused shot, dealing significantly more damage, but less ink coverage. Light on the ink tank.
  • .52 Gal - A powerhouse shooter, dealing more damage than the Splattershot and knocking enemies back a bit. An ink consumer.
  • Aerospray MG - Has a much longer range than any other variant, as well as sporting the same damage and flinching potential as the Splattershot. Of course, it's heavy on your ink supply.
Side Special
Splat Roller
Inkling whips out a Splat Roller and charges forward. This does some nifty damage, and covers enemies in a bit of ink, but the Roller really shines when it buries opponents.
  • Carbon Roller - Much lighter, much quicker, and consumes way less ink! Unfortunately, it's a bit weaker, and has a harder time burying opponents.
  • Dynamo Roller - The tank of the Rollers, being slower but packing a mean punch - even it's ink flings are powerful! It's a drain on your ink supply, though.
  • Flingza Roller - This Roller can't bury opponents. Instead it's got some great knockback potential.
Up Special
Super Jump
Inkling transforms into her squid form, and jumps upward in a flurry of ink. It's a very versatile recovery move, sporting great height, as well as the ability to direct yourself.
  • Quick Super Jump - Much quicker, and much higher, but you won't be able to deal any damage.
  • Stealth Jump - Allows you to change directions midjump, allowing for a much more unpredictable flight pattern.
  • Respawn Punisher - Much slower, but boy does this Super Jump pack a punch!
Down Special
Splat Bomb
Inkling throws a Splat Bomb, which will explode after a set period of time. Holding the special will allow you to aim your Splat Bomb. Uses up a good chunk of your ink tank.
  • Burst Bomb - Throw a weaker bomb that explodes upon impact. Weaker, but much easier on your ink tank.
  • Suction Bomb - This bomb is significantly more powerful, with a higher blast radius, and will stick to surfaces. Unfortunately, it's a drain on your ink supply.
  • Torpedo - Throw this bomb into the air and it'll automatically home in on enemies! Uses up a good bit of ink, though.
Final Smash
Killer Wail
Inkling whips out a Killer Wail, emitting a devastating screech from the machine. While it's active, Inkling is free to move about and attack enemies, and can aim the Killer Wail.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Inkling spins her Splattershot around, exclaiming "Woomy!"
  • Side Taunt - Inkling jumps up a bit, arms in the air, as if celebrating a Splatfest.
  • Down Taunt - Inkling performs her Splatoon 2 victory animation with her Splattershot.

Pit Render Remix

Pit
PitHeadSSBU
Pit is the leader of Palutena's army, a flightless angel devoted to his Goddess and defending Skyworld from the forces of darkness. He's a quippy young fellow, but he's skilled in combat. His wings allow him an extra jump, but that's about it. If he wants to really take flight, he'll have to call on help from Lady Palutena. In this installment, Pit now uses a wider array of weapons, like using the Tiger Claws in his jabs, and his Violet Palm in his up smash!
Moveset
Entrance Pit floats down from a heavenly beam of light.
Jumps Pit can jump twice in midair, thanks to his wings. His jumps aren't all that great, though.
Up Air Pit's up air attack has him thrusting his wings upward, catching fire in the process. A powerful move, but it deals damage to Pit and makes his Up Special less effective for a short time.
Standard Special
Palutena Bow
Pit fires a glowing blue arrow of light from his bow, which can be charged. The direction of the arrow as it flies can be adjusted.
  • Divine Bow - This bow allows for rapid-fire shots, but lacks the ability to control the direction.
  • Hawkeye Bow - While this bow lacks power, its shots will automatically home in on enemies.
  • Meteor Bow - Pit fires an arrow a short distance diagonally upwards, before it changes course and slams into the ground a bit in front.
Side Special
Upperdash Arm
Pit equips the Upperdash Arm and rushes forward, performing an uppercut at a fixed distance.
  • Electroshock Arm - The uppercut now happens when in contact with an enemy, and has electric properties.
  • Crusher Arm - Instead of launching your opponent, you get to crush them and hopefully bury them if they don't mash out.
  • Compact Arm - This version of the move has incredible range and speed, but lacks power. Great for recovery, though!
Up Special
Power of Flight
With the aid of Palutena, Pit's wings glow blue and he's launched in a given direction. Deals no damage, but is a good recovery.
  • Wings of Icarus - Reusing the move from Brawl, Pit is given free flight. Glows yellow.
  • Viridi's Flight - Pit's wings glow green, and he flies much more unpredictably. Has start-up lag.
  • Angel's Feather - Pit's wings glow pink as he flies directly upward, then glides down slowly.
Down Special
Guardian Orbitars
Two mirror-like shields are created in front of Pit, reflecting projectiles in their first few frames. From then out, they act as breakable barriers.
  • Shock Orbitars - Creates two barriers made of electricity, which won't affect projectiles, but will damage foes.
  • Centurion Orbitars - Summons a small Centurion on either side of Pit to fire a spurt of arrows.
  • Fairy Orbitars - Has some serious start-up lag, but this move creates a portal on either side of Pit. What goes in one end comes out the other! Doesn't last all that long, though.
Final Smash
Great Sacred Treasure
Pit summons the Great Sacred Treasure in its Final Strike mode, allowing him to fire a massive, devastating laser!
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Pit briefly floats, before falling to the ground.
  • Side Taunt - Pit sneezes, then hides an arm behind his head, embarrassed.
  • Down Taunt - Pit twirls his Palutena Bow in blade form, exclaiming "The fight is on!"

Dark Pit Obliteration

Dark Pit
DarkPitHeadSSBU
Dark Pit was born from the Mirror of Truth, being a flawed, incomplete version of Pit. He's garnered the nickname Pittoo - one which he despises. He's somewhat of a rival to his other half, and is now an officer in the Forces of Nature, headed by Viridi. Dark Pit plays almost identically to Pit, though he has a unique Side Special and Final Smash, as well as some unique custom moves. He also uses his staff in a few attacks!
Moveset
Entrance Dark Pit floats down from a purple beam of light.
Jumps Dark Pit can jump twice in midair, thanks to his wings. His jumps aren't all that great, though.
Up Air Dark Pit's up air attack has him thrusting his wings upward, catching fire in the process. A powerful move, but it deals damage to Dark Pit and makes his Up Special less effective for a short time.
Standard Special
Silver Bow
Dark Pit fires a glowing purple arrow of energy from his bow, which can be charged. The direction of the arrow as it flies can be adjusted, though not as much as Pit's.
  • Darkness Bow - Shoots a larger, more powerful arrow, that travels slowly in a straight line.
  • Aurum Bow - While this bow lacks power, its shots will automatically home in on enemies. Deals electric damage.
  • Sagittarius Bow - A quick projectile that does a loop before continuing on its path.
Side Special
Raptor Claws
Dark Pit lunges forward, dealing a single, powerful slash that stuns enemies.
  • Beam Claws - Slightly less powerful, but scratch marks will stay for a second or two, dealing damage to any enemy who touches them.
  • Artillery Claws - Dark Pit punches forward, sending out a few small projectiles.
  • Cancer Claws - Similarly to Corrin's standard Special, Dark Pit uses his claw to crush an opponent.
Up Special
Power of Flight
With the aid of Palutena, Dark Pit's wings glow blue and he's launched in a given direction. Deals no damage, but is a good recovery.
  • Wings of Icarus - Reusing the move from Brawl, Dark Pit is given free flight. Glows yellow.
  • Viridi's Flight - Dark Pit's wings glow green, and he flies much more unpredictably. Has start-up lag.
  • Pandora's Flight - Dark Pit's wings glow purple, and he's launched, spinning and dealing damage.
Down Special
Guardian Orbitars
Two mirror-like shields are created in front of Dark Pit, reflecting projectiles in their first few frames. From then out, they act as breakable barriers.
  • Boom Orbitars - Creates an explosion at either side of Dark Pit.
  • Jetstream Orbitars - Creates a windbox at either side of Dark Pit.
  • Gemini Orbitars - Only creates a mask-like barrier in front of Dark Pit. Causes any opponent who comes in contact to have their controls reversed for a short time.
Final Smash
Dark Pit Staff
Dark Pit quickly whips out his staff, firing a thin laser that deals some heavy knockback.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Dark Pit twirls his blade above his head.
  • Side Taunt - Dark Pit kicks outward, then brushes off his shoulders. "That's how you do it."
  • Down Taunt - Dark Pit turns his back to the camera and gestures with his blade. "That all you got?"
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Dark Pit's laurel, as well as some itty bitty black wings.

Octoling
Agent 8 Icon DSSB Smashboards
Octoings were once the sworn enemies of Inklings, but the Calamari Inkantation freed their minds and souls. These octo kids now live happy lives alongside their squid counterparts, and participate in Turf Wars and Splatfests alike.
Octoling is an echo of Inkling, and they're identical aside from a few minor differences. Octoling tends to use stronger weapons than Inkling - such as the Octobrush over the Inkbrush - but these attacks take more time to execute as a result.
Moveset
Entrance Octoling jumps out of a splash of ink in her octopus form, then shakes off her ink, much like in the opening to Turf Wars.
Ink A lot of Octoling's attacks utilise ink. If an enemy is covered in your ink, they'll move a small bit slower, and you're able to deal extra damage to them! But you've only got a tankful at a time, so you'll need to balance combat and recovering ink.
Dash Octoling transforms into her octopus form for her dash, swimming through ink. Her hitbox is much smaller when dashing. Also recovers a small bit of ink.
Shield Special
Octo Form
If you're low on ink, you'll need to use this move to turn into an octopus and dive into a puddle of ink to recover your supply. You're still vulnerable while in your ink, but your hitbox is much smaller.
Standard Special
Octoshot
Octoling fires a burst of ink from her primary weapon - the Octoshot. This doesn't deal much damage, nor is it great for knockback, but it's sure to douse your target in ink. You can also aim your shot a bit!
  • N-ZAP '89 - A more focused shot, dealing significantly more damage, but less ink coverage. Light on the ink tank.
  • .96 Gal - A powerhouse shooter, dealing more damage than the Octoshot and knocking enemies back a bit. An ink consumer.
  • Aerospray RG - Has a much longer range than any other variant, as well as sporting the same damage and flinching potential as the Octoshot. Of course, it's heavy on your ink supply.
Side Special
Splat Roller
Octoling whips out a Splat Roller and charges forward. This does some nifty damage, and covers enemies in a bit of ink, but the Roller really shines when it buries opponents.
  • Carbon Roller Deco - Much lighter, much quicker, and consumes way less ink! Unfortunately, it's a bit weaker, and has a harder time burying opponents.
  • Gold Dynamo Roller - The tank of the Rollers, being slower but packing a mean punch - even it's ink flings are powerful! It's a drain on your ink supply, though.
  • Foil Flingza Roller - This Roller can't bury opponents. Instead it's got some great knockback potential.
Up Special
Super Jump
Octoling transforms into her octopus form, and jumps upward in a flurry of ink.
Splat Bomb
Octoling throws a Splat Bomb, which will explode after a set period of time.
  • Fizzy Bomb - The longer you hold this bomb, the stronger it becomes! It can explode up to three times, but uses a bit more ink than your regular Splat Bomb.
Final Smash
Booyah Bomb
Octoling screams "Veemo!" and jumps into the air, covered in ink armour. Cheered on by Pearl, Marina, and Cap'n Cuttlefish, Octoling throws a massive ball of ink, which has a devastating, explosive finale.
K.O. C.Q. Cumber's mumbled voice can be heard when Octoling is knocked offstage, as a blast of Sanitized Octoling ink is shot.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Octoling thrusts her fist in the air and yells "Veemo!"
  • Side Taunt - Octoling transforms into her octopus form and jumps up and down.
  • Down Taunt - Octoling takes out a CQ-80 device, and takes a selfie with it.
Smash Taunt
CQ-80 Calls
By using her down taunt on TBA, Octoling can activate CQ-80 Calls, where Pearl, Marina, and Cap'n Cuttlefish will give her the rundown on her enemy. Featuring special appearances from DJ Octavio and C.Q. Cumber!

Shovel Knight Swing

Shovel Knight
Shovelknightstock2
Shovel Knight is a practitioner of the ancient Code of Shovelry, who wields his signature Shovel Blade in battle. A mid-heavyweight character, Shovel Knight comes with a decent enough speed, backed up by a great range. His Shovel Blade has a large sweetspot in the form of the spade itself, so it's important to distance yourself. In the air, Shovel Knight can enter Shovel Drop, his signature attack which has him bouncing with his shovel!
Moveset
Entrance Shovel Knight jumps onto the stage, shovel in the air.
Dodge Rather than ducking away in his spotdodge or airdodge, Shovel Knight activates his Phase Locket, letting all attacks pass through him. If you successfully dodge, you'll have a few extra frames of invulnerability!
Down Aerial
Shovel Drop
Shovel Knight drops down with his shovel, descending significantly slower than most aerial drop attacks. His shovel becomes a permanent hitbox, allowing him to bounce off of players. This can be cancelled out of, but otherwise this move goes on until Shovel Knight touches solid ground or is hit.
Standard Special
Dig
Shovel Knight digs into the ground with his shovel to see what he'll find! As he digs, jewels and the likes will fly out of the ground, dealing damage. These can be picked up as projectiles.
  • Determined Dig - Shovel Knight takes less time to dig, but it's not as powerful.
  • Trench Dig - Though this move takes longer to start up, the range objects can fly is drastically increased.
  • Shovel in the Stone - Shovel Knight thrusts his shovel into the earth, causing a small but powerful quake.
Side Special
Charge Handle
Shovel Knight charges up, then releases a devastating swing of his shovel. He cannot move while charging this move, though it can be cancelled.
  • Stockpile Handle - At the cost of some charge potential, Shovel Knight can store his charge to use whenever the urge strikes.
  • Master Handle - Though the initial attack isn't as strong, charging this move beyond a certain point will allow it to shoot a beam of energy.
  • Dynamo Handle - This move lacks any charge, though it does take a bit of time to execute. As Shovel Knight swings his shovel blade, explosions appear!
Up Special
Propeller Dagger
Shovel Knight unleashes his Propeller Dagger, allowing him to soar in any inputted direction, with the blade dealing damage and potentially carrying enemies.
  • Rising Dagger - Though you can't input a direction, this version of the attack goes much farther. Up, up, and away!
  • Infinidagger - This version of the move travels a significant distance, though the attack is cancelled as soon as contact is made with anything.
  • Mobile Gear - Shovel Knight summons a spinning top to stand on, resetting his jumps, but not allowing him to use this move again until he touches the ground. Try this attack while grounded to create a stationary weapon!
Down Special
Throwing Anchor
Shovel Knight simply throws an anchor. This travels in an arc, and can be devastating if not countered.
  • Tow Anchor - Instead of dealing damage to whoever it hits, Shovel Knight can zip straight up to them and attack for himself!
  • Fishing Rod - Shovel Knight uses a fising rod to grab opponents, much like Isabelle.
  • Alchemy Coin - Shovel Knight flips a coin - the distance of which can be adjusted. If it lands the right way up, there'll be a tremendous explosion of gold!
Final Smash
Strike the Earth
Shield Knight appears and uses her shield to bounce Shovel Knight up into the air, offscreen. Shovel Knight will come crashing down engulfed in blue flames, and ending with an explosion. The area where Shovel Knight lands can be selected by inputting directions, but your enemies will be none the wiser!
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Holds a gem above his head as a jingle plays.
  • Side Taunt - Drinks from his Troupple Chalice.
  • Down Taunt - Kneels down in defeat, then gets back up.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Shovel Knight's helmet - though it's a bit too big for him.

Lillie Remix Render

Lillie
Lillie is a Pokémon Trainer from the Alola region. She's the daughter of the owner of the Aether Foundation, Lusamine, whose goal is to improve the lives of Pokémon. When Lillie found out they were experimenting on a poor Cosmog, she took matters into her own hands and ran away with the Pokémon, who she lovingly named Nebby. The pair fight as one, with Lillie carrying Nebby in her bag most of the time. Nebby emerges for Special and Smash Attacks, using its untapped power.
Moveset
Entrance Lillie teleports in, with a surprised look on her face.
Nebby Nebby stays in Lillie's bag for the majority of the fight, though he emerges for some attacks. This means its quicker to execute Nebby attacks one after the other, as he doesn't need to be released from the bag! The following moves use Nebby:
  • Side Smash
  • Down Smash
  • Up Smash
  • Up aerial
  • Neutral aerial
  • Side tilt
  • Standard Special
  • Up Special
  • Down Special
Standard Special
Cosmic Power
Nebby glows with a colourful aura, before evolving from Cosmog into Cosmoem. Special Attacks all function the same, but Smash Attacks are now changed entirely. They're now much slower to execute, but pack a serious punch thanks to Cosmoem's insane weight. Cosmoem will revert after around 15 seconds.
  • Calm Mind - Instead of evolving, Nebby increases his and Lillie's speed and defense.
  • Refresh - Nebby heals himself and Lillie of a small bit of health.
  • Burst Evolution - Nebby takes a bit longer to evolve, but a blast of energy is emitted once he does so.
Side Special
Repel
Lillie tosses a Repel forwards. It will explode like a bomb upon contact, exploding in a cloud of gas. Any projectiles or enemies that make contact with the gas will be turned in the opposite direction.
  • Max Repel - Causes a much bigger cloud, but has to be shaken before being thrown.
  • Pure Incense - The incense has a smaller cloud than the Repel does, but it can put opponents to sleep.
  • Stun Seed - This move functions exactly the same as a Deku Nut, stunning opponents it hits.
Up Special
Teleport
Lillie hugs Nebby, and the two are teleported a large distance away. A rather weak attack move, but it can spike enemies if they're just under Lillie's feet.
  • Stellar Teleport - This move has shorter range, but damaging stars will emerge from where the pair teleported from.
  • Ultra Wormhole - Nebby creates an Ultra Wormhole below Lillie's feet, and the pair fall in, emerging elsewhere. Enemies can also use this portal.
  • Ultra Wormhole Faller - An Ultra Wormhole is created above Lillie and Nebby, and they're sucked in. Another portal above them will blast them out in the direction of the stage.
Down Special
Splash
Nebby hops out of Lillie's bag, and she covers him with her body. Nebby will emit a large blast of energy after a while, though this process can be rushed at the cost of a weaker explosion with a smaller radius.
  • Psyshock - This version of the move paralyses opponents instead of damaging them.
  • Safeguard - This move activates almost instantly, creating a protective barrier around Lillie and Nebby.
  • Hypnosis - Instead of a blast of energy, Nebby emits a cloud that sends enemies to sleep.
Final Smash
Poké Flute
Lillie takes out her Poké Flute and plays a song. This can lead into one of Lillie's two possible Final Smashes. During the song, input any direction to activate Searing Sunraze Smash, or any button to activate Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom.
Searing Sunraze Smash Nebby evolves into Solgaleo, and Lillie gets on his back. Solgaleo runs at a great speed across the stage, creating Ultra Wormholes to get from one side to the other. Once he's finished, one final, flaming charge should finish the job, before a Wormhole drops Lillie and Nebby back to the stage.
Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom Nebby evolves into Lunala, and creates a large pillar of light. Several smaller lasers will emerge from this pillar, appearing almost randomly. As the move ends, a blast hits the ground around the main pillar, and the now base-stage Nebby cuddles Lillie.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Lillie strikes the Normal type Z-Move pose.
  • Side Taunt - Nebby hops out of the bag and nuzzles against Lillie's face.
  • Down Taunt - Lillie plays the opening to a Pokémon battle on her Poké Flute.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Lillie's big sunhat.

Kris
Kris is a human who, alongside the monster Susie, fell into the Dark World. The pair came across the dark prince Ralsei, and learned of the prophecy they must fulfill. Kris commands the party, ordering them to do various ACTS and MAGIC. They have to make the difficult decision to FIGHT or SPARE enemies, which ties into their fighting style in Smash. Kris is a lightweight fighter who can build up TENSION POINTS by dodging or blocking attacks, allowing them to deliver more powerful attacks. Alternatively, saving up TP allows them to SPARE their enemy.
Moveset
Entrance Kris falls onto the stage from a height.
Grab When Kris grabs an enemy, they'll be darkened, revealing their heart-shaped SOUL. This is purely aesthetic.
TENSION POINTS
SPARE
As Kris dodges or blocks attacks, they build up TP. TP can be spent in order to do more powerful Smash Attacks. If you allow your TP meter to fill up to the max, you can activate your SPARE attack. This is a meteor smash with a large hit radius, which does no damage. So long as you're above a gap, you can remove your opponent from the battle.
Standard Special
ACT
Kris points forward, sending out a few small hearts. If an enemy is hit, they'll take a small bit of damage and flinch. Their attack power will be lowered for a short time.
  • WARNING - Instead of lowering attack power, this move causes the next Smash attack, tilt, aerial, or jab from the enemy to miss Kris. Can't stack.
  • HUG - Kris jumps forward and hugs the target. Makes them a bit slower and adds extra lag to their attacks, but deals no damage. Quite the odd command grab.
  • SUSIE'S IDEA - If an enemy is close enough, Kris will grab them, and throw them in the direction indicated when they stop the arrow.
Side Special
DEFEND
Kris's sword transforms into a shield, allowing them to defend against attacks from the front as long as the input is held.
  • BLOCK - Kris bashes forward a small bit with their shield. Deals a good bit of damage and knockback, and reflects projectiles.
  • TARGET - Kris slices with their sword, creating a red slash a bit in front of them.
  • SOUL - Kris's heart-shaped SOUL is revealed. If attacked, Kris will counter.
Up Special
FOUNTAIN
A fountain of grey water propels Kris upward. Pushes enemies away.
  • LIGHT FOUNTAIN - Heals Kris a small bit, but also heals any enemies who make contact.
  • DARK FOUNTAIN - Damages Kris a small bit, but also damages any enemies who make contact.
  • SEALED FOUNTAIN - The fountain starts, then stops abruptly, launching Kris into the air. Doesn't put them into freefall.
Down Special
PIROUETTE
Kris spins around, dealing a bit of damage and a lot of knockback. Lasts about a second, and Kris can move about a bit while executing this move, keeping any previous momentum.
  • COURAGE - Kris concentrates, then flashes golden. Boosts defense and attack for a bit.
  • HEAL PRAYER - A yellow circle appears below Kris, healing them as long as the attack lasts before being cancelled.
  • LULLABY - Kris sings the song of legend, sending any nearby enemies to sleep.
Final Smash
FIGHT
Pointing forward, Kris summons Ralsei and Susie. The trio of Lightners attack their enemy, finishing up with Ralsei's PACIFY!
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Kris twirls around and holds a hand in the air.

Tatsuya
TatsuyaStock
Tatsuya Suou is a student at Seven Sisters High School, who recieved a mysterious letter concerning a kidnapping at his school. At the designated meeting point, a stranger named Philemon lets the students tap into their ability to summon Personas, thus starting their escapade. Tatsuya uses a short sword in battle, though he's not as aggressive as most other sword-users. His battle style rewards tactical thinking. His smash attacks and Special attacks make use of his Persona, Vulcanus, and as such take a bit of time to execute.
Added as part of a Smash Bros. character swap.
Moveset
Entrance Tatsuya appears from a cloud of blue-ish fog, closing his lighter and putting it in his pocket, saying "Don't get in my way."
Persona Tatsuya has the ability to summon his Persona, Vulcanus, to attack. Vulcanus is powerful, but he must be summoned, meaning these attacks take longer to execute. These attacks typically have fire effects. Vulcanus has his own hitbox, and hitting him hard enough will cancel the attack. Some attacks summon their own Personas - not just Vulcanus!
Standard Special
Agi
Tatsuya summons Vulcanus to cast a fiery vortex in front of him. This causes enemies to flinch, and allows for an easy follow-up attack.
  • Maragi - Vulcanus sets the floor in front of him on fire, acting similarly to lava floors elsewhere in Smash.
  • Agilao - Sends out a small, concentrated blast of fire that travels a fair distance before dissipating.
  • Agidyne - Vulcanus creates a spiraling pillar of flames, dealing high damage but taking even longer than usual to execute.
Side Special
Maguru
Tatsuya summons Surya to create a gust of wind in front of him.
  • Tarukaja - Tatsuya summons Vulcanus to create a trident from the ground a set distance from him.
  • Salamander - Tatsuya summons Surya to allow him to charge forward, covered in fire, sword outstretched.
  • Maha Garu - Surya creates a gust of wind from the ground, launching enemies into the air and stunning them.
Up Special
Transient Ripple
A ghostly mask appears behind Tatsuya as he vanishes, leaving nothing but a ripple in the air. He emerges elsewhere, a distance somewhere between Zelda and Sheik's teleports.
  • Spectra Force - Tatsuya is launched into the air, where he has two options; input an attack to crash diagonally covered in fire, or stay in place to unleash a windbox.
  • Guard Punish - Hops up a short distance, hopefully making contact with an enemy. If successful, Tatsuya will create a barrier, and hop off it, kicking into the enemy.
  • Tetraja - Surya is summoned, creating a platform for Tatsuya to stand on, resetting his jumps. He cannot reuse Tetraja until he touches solid ground, however.
Down Special
Balzac
Tatsuya summons Vulcanus to unleash a burst of red energy. This sends whoever is affected into a Fury, making their attacks more powerful but lowering their defense significantly.
  • Flame Cut - Vulcanus imbues Tatsuya's sword with fire, increasing his attack power for a time.
  • Garula - Tatsuya summons Surya to create a temporary windbox around him, preventing enemies from getting too close.
  • Spinning Shot - Surya grabs an enemy and throws them with force. Tatsuya is free to move and attack as this attack occurs.
Final Smash
Apollo
"Not even the dwellers of the dark can stop us now!"
Tatsuya summons Apollo to attack, leaving Tatsuya free to attack as this Final Smash goes on. Many giant fists fly across the stage, imbued with fire, until they fistbump in the center, creating a large explosion.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Waves his hand over his face, creating a fiery mask, which quickly vanishes.
  • Side Taunt - Tatsuya brushes his hair out of his face and strikes a pose.
  • Down Taunt - Flicks his lighter a few times.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears a mysterious mask. It looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it...

Arle is a young mage who's practicing her magic, as well as her Puyo popping skills. She's a cheery young girl with a love for curry and a zest for life. Paired with her good pal Carbuncle, they're an unstoppable pair! In battle, Arle's a lightweight who's focused on racking up combos. She uses a variety of magical attacks alongside her Puyo popping skills - and who's to say Carby won't help out?
Moveset
Entrance A set of four Puyos appear, and pop. Arle emerges from behind, with Carbuncle by her side.
Fever Many of Arle's tilts and aerials are rather weak, but lead well into combos. The more hits you rack up in a short time, the more powerful your attacks become, just like popping Puyos. Set up some elaborate combos to activate Fever mode, in which your powered-up attacks will stick around for a short time, instead of ending when the combo does.
Puyo Pop Arle, alongside her magic, uses Puyos in her attacks. Each Puyo has an elemental affinity, so it's handy to keep in mind which Puyo comes from what attack. Strategy is key! In addition, these Puyos can be used in tandem with her neutral special, Puyo Drop. Arle summons a pile of 3 Puyo of the same colour to drop. This doesn't deal much damage, but acts as a weak wall for enemies, though the pile can be destroyed. Launch an opponent into a blue Puyo pile using any attack that utilises a blue Puyo in order to pop the Puyos and deal some serious damage!
  • Hard Drop - These Puyo drop from high above Arle, but get destroyed when they hit the ground. They're useful for meteor smashes, or if you want to chance your arm at a Puyo pop.
  • Mini Puyo - These Puyo are much smaller, but there's 4 of them, meaning they'll pop the instant they've settled.
  • Tetromino - Arle has a Tetromino drop in front of her, acting as a quick but powerful attack. The shape is always random, so who knows what the hitbox will be like?
Side Special

Arle has Carbuncle summon a pillar of light. On the ground, this simply acts as a high-reaching attack, but Arle can ride the beam in the air.
  • Ice Storm - This attack does less damage, but can freeze enemies.
  • Holy Laser - Arle fires a beam below her, blasting her upward, though not all that much.
  • Great Transfer - A Hard Puyo appears a distance away from Arle in the direction inputted. In a flash of light, the two switch places, and the Hard Puyo crashes downwards.
Down Special
Diacute
Arle is surrounded by strange circle-like patterns as she emits a purple energy. Once executed successfully, Arle's next attack will be stronger.
  • Inverse Diacute - Instead of boosting her attack power, Arle's defense is increased.
  • Mind Blast - Arle emits a wave that stuns opponents.
  • Brain Numbed - Deals damage in a larger area, and causes enemies to turn around.
Final Smash
Big Bang
Arle pops some Puyos in front of her, creating a black hole that sprays Puyos all over the stage in a spiral fashion.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Carbuncle jumps up to high-five Arle.
  • Side Taunt - Arle spins around with Carbuncle in her arms, exclaiming "We did it, Carby!"
  • Down Taunt - Absentmindedly pops a few small Puyos. Deals a small amount of damage.
Kirby Hat Kirby gets to wear Arle's signature hairstyle.

Veronica Intro

Veronica
Veronica is the princess of the Emblian Empire, sworn enemies of Askr. She ventures through gateways to worlds - opened by Askrians - to recruit Heroes to fight for her, and then seal the gateways. Though childish, Veronica is relentless and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She's much heavier and slower than she looks, preferring to attack from a distance. Her moveset combines aspects of her Dark Princess and Brave variations.
Moveset
Entrance Emerges from a gateway between worlds. "Was I called?"
Down Smash
Contract
Veronica creates a small circle on the ground in front of her. If an enemy is caught in it, their controls will be disabled for a short time.
Standard Special
Windfire Balm
Veronica creates a wall of magical fire surrounding herself, protecting herself from attacks and dealing a small amount of damage to anybody who comes into contact.
  • Windfire Balm+ - Covers a larger area, but can be broken.
  • Imbue - Heals Veronica a small bit, but does nothing else.
  • Kindled-Fire Balm - Creates a pillar of flames on either side of Veronica, dealing extra damage.
Side Special
Hliðskjálf
Veronica glows with a yellow ring, points forward, and a blue orb of energy detonates a fixed distance away. Deals electrical damage.
  • Gravity - The orb picks up an enemy and drops them, much like Mewtwo's Disable.
  • Slow - Deals less damage, but inflicts a slowing effect on enemies.
  • Blárblade - Creates a series of blue swords in the ground in front of Veronica.
Up Special
Gateway
Veronica vanishes, emerging from a gateway elsewhere. Has a range somewhere between Zelda and Mewtwo's recoveries.
  • Conquest Gateway - Takes longer to execute, but unleashes a blast of energy upon opening and closing.
  • Binding Gateway - If Veronica reappears by an enemy, the enemy will be sent out the entrance point.
  • Blazing Gateway - Has less range, but deals more damage.
Down Special
Élivágar
Veronica charges up this move, opening her tome. Once released, a flurry of green slashes of wind emerge from the book. Has a large hitbox and deals significant damage.
  • Rexcalibur - Has a longer range, but less vertical reach.
  • Wind's Brand - Deals more damage, at the cost of taking longer to charge.
  • Gronnblade - Deals less damage, but has a poison effect.
Final Smash
Tempest
Veronica - in quick succssion - summons winds to pull enemies closer to her, before a massive bolt of lightning strikes the stage around the Emblian Princess.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Veronica holds a hand to the sky, one finger extended.
  • Side Taunt - Veronica opens her tome, creating a yellow-green glow.
  • Down Taunt - Veronica takes a step back and holds her head for a short bit.
Kirby Hat Kirby gets to wear Veronica's headwear and eyepiece. No hair, though.

Madeline Towerfall

Madeline
Madeline Stock Icon
Madeline is a young girl determined to climb Celeste Mountain, haunted by Part of Herself. With the help of fellow hiker, Theo, and her other half, Badeline, Madeline manages to change her life by climbing the mountain. In Smash, Madeline is a lightweight character who's knocked around easily, but is by far the most mobile character in the game. She has a Dash maneuver that allows her to move quickly both on ground and in the air, and has plenty of recovery options - though all of them send her into special fall. She's assisted by Badeline in her Smash attacks and a few others.
Moveset
Entrance Madeline is dropped into the battlefield by a bird.
Dashes Madeline's tilt attacks and aerials are all replaced by directional inputs for her dashes. She can only dash once in midair, giving her access to a series of traditional aerial attacks.
Wall Jump Though a rather minor attribute, Madeline can kick herself off of walls in aid of a third jump. It won't come into play much, but it could be the difference between a save and a self-destruct!
Standard Special
Feather
Madeline transforms into a ball of golden energy, and can be directed like PK Thunder. A decent recovery in a pinch, but best used offensively.
  • Trapped Feather - Causes a small explosion at the start of the move and the end, but lowers contact damage.
  • Golden Feather - Weaker, but has more range.
  • Clipped Feather - In the middle of the move, Badeline will slash your trail, dealing heavy damage to anybody caught, but leaving you vulnerable.
Side Special
Red Bubble
Madeline is enveloped in a red bubble, which launches her in the inputted direction. The direction can be slightly adjusted to go diagonally instead of straight horizontally. Has some serious start and end lag.
  • Green Bubble - Much quicker to execute, but doesn't travel very far.
  • Bubble Trap - A Red Bubble is created in front of Madeline. Any enemy caught in it will be launched back toward Madeline.
  • Bubble Burst - A Red Bubble is created in front of Madeline. Any enemy caught in it will be launched directly downward.
Up Special
Badeline Toss
Badeline appears and throws Madeline directly upwards a good height. Deals no damage, and leaves Madeline vulnerable, but it's an excellent recovery move.
  • Badeline Spin - Badeline grabs Madeline, and the two spin around together. Doesn't go as high, but deals damage.
  • Cloud Bounce - Madeline bounces on a cloud. The cloud stays there for a short time, allowing anybody to bounce off it.
  • Pink Cloud Bounce - Madeline bounces on a pink cloud, which vanishes afterwards.
Down Special
Refill Gem
Spawns a Refill Gem in front of Madeline, which stays on stage for a while. If any character attacks the gem, they'll be granted another jump. Madeline can't use this when out of jumps, though.
  • Bumper - Madeline summons a bumper in front of her.
  • Feather Technique - Madeline takes a deep breath, imagining a feather. Heals her a small bit if uninterrupted.
  • Instapic - Madeline takes out a phone and snaps a selfie, stunning anybody behind her.
Final Smash
Panic Mirror
A large mirror appears behind the stage, sucking enemies in like a black hole. While they're trapped, Badeline fires a massive beam of energy at them.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Madeline holds a hand in the air, summoning a Winged Strawberry. Running into it will give you 1000 points! Disappears after a small bit, or when Madeline uses her dash.
  • Side Taunt - Madeline takes a cassette out of her pocket.
  • Down Taunt - Madeline looks a bit panicked, then remembers her breathing techniques.
Kirby Hat Kirby gains Madeline's orange hair.

Grovyle Celebi Remix

Grovyle & Celebi
Grovylestock
Grovyle and Celebi are refugees of a dark future, determined to mend the past. By collecting the Time Gears, Grovyle hopes to cure Primal Dialga of his rage, with the help of Celebi's time travel. The duo fight as a team, with Grovyle being a much heavier hitter. Most of his attacks are close-range and sneaky, using leaves, whereas Celebi's use magic properties.
Moveset
Entrance The duo warp in from a Passage of Time.
Celebi Grovyle is accompanied by Celebi, who acts similarly to Nana and Luma, but cannot be KO'd without KO'ing Grovyle. She will attack in tandem with Grovyle, with her attacks having magic properties. She's slightly slower than Grovyle, and is necessary to perform their Up Special.
Down Tilt
Seed Throw
Grovyle's down tilt has him throwing a seed from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. It will most commonly be a Blast Seed (explosive properties) or a Plain Seed, but there's a chance of Grovyle pulling a Pure Seed (turns enemy around), an X-Eye Seed (reverses enemy controls for a second) or a Sleep Seed (sends enemy to sleep).
Standard Special
Mega Drain
Grovyle snatches an opponent and holds them, draining health from them and healing himself.
  • Giga Drain - Deals more damage, but doesn't heal as much.
  • Leech Seed - Slowly deals damage over time, healing Grovyle.
  • Magical Leaf - Sends out a flurry of multicoloured leaves that home in on targets.
Side Special
Quick Attack
Much like Fox's Side Special, Grovyle dashes forward, stunning anybody who gets in his way.
  • X-Scissor - Grovyle stops once he reaches his opponent, and attacks them head-on.
  • U-Turn - Once he reaches an enemy, Grovyle turna around and tosses them.
  • Leaf Blade - Instead of stunning opponents he passes, they're given the "crumble" effect.
Up Special
Passage of Time
Celebi uses a Time Gear to open a portal above herself and Grovyle, sucking them in. At the same time, a portal opens elsewhere and the two are spat out - before they're even sucked in! Time travel, am I right?
  • Fast Forwarded Passage - A much faster version of the move which spits the duo out at uncontrollable speeds.
  • Reverse Passage - Instead of pulling them in from above, this variation of the move creates a portal underneath the pair, allowing them to continue their attacks.
  • Rainbow Stoneship - Grovyle and Celebi ride the Rainbow Stoneship a small distance, granting them another jump.
Down Special
Dig
Much like Greninja's Shadow Sneak, Grovyle buries himself in the ground and emerges elsewhere, dealing a heavy attack. A keen eye can tell where Grovyle is digging, and an attack will cancel this move. If used in the air, it can meteor smash.
  • Agility - Grovyle moves so fast that there appears to be three of him! Increases his speed for a while.
  • Slam - Grovyle grabs his enemy and elbow slams them into the ground.
  • Leaf Storm - Grovyle surrounds himself in a flurry of leaves. Has a big hitbox.
Final Smash
Time Gear
Grovyle snatches an opponent an tosses them upward, throwing a Time Gear after them, creating a Passage of Time. They'll be instantly KO'd if they're higher than 120%, and Grovyle will reappear with his damage healed from up to 15 seconds ago.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Grovyle turns his back to the camera, while Celebi twirls around him. He grins a little.
  • Side Taunt - Grovyle takes out a Time Gear and holds it in his hand for a bit, Celebi marveling at it.
  • Down Taunt - Grovyle and Celebi both hold up Explorer Badges, a light shining off them.
Kirby Hat Kirby gains a large leaf on his head, and angry eyes.
Classic Mode

Izuku Midoriya, the Successor to All Might

Deku
Izuku Midoriya is the successor to the former #1 Hero, All Might. In a world where 80% of the world's population were born with a superpower of some kind - a Quirk - "Deku" was born Quirkless. That never stopped his dream of being a Pro Hero though, and he was fortunate enough to have a powerful Quirk known as One For All passed on to him.
His body isn't fully used to the energy of the Quirk though, so he does suffer some recoil damage a lot. In Smash, Deku uses a mixture of his classic and shoot style, being a speedy powerhouse who can take a hit. Of course, the fact that many of his own moves deal damage to him cause the damage to rack up pretty quickly.
Moveset
Entrance Deku appears in a flash of green lightning.
One For All Deku's body isn't conditioned to handle One For All at its full power, so he normally limits himself to a maximum of 20%. This means that a lot of his attacks deal recoil damage to him. As a general rule of thumb, Deku's more powerful attacks will deal damage to him. This includes his Final Smash.
Standard Special
Delaware Smash
Deku flicks his fingers, channeling One For All into his fingertips. The hitbox of this move is very small, but it creates a large vacuum that will launch back even the heaviest of heavies. Deals recoil damage.
  • 400% Delaware Smash - A much larger vacuum, though it deals significantly more recoil damage to Deku.
  • 50% Delaware Smash - Deku's more careful, and sends out a weaker vacuum. It deals much less recoil damage.
  • South Delaware Smash - Deku aims his attack at the ground, creating an odd vacuum that follows along the ground, along with debris flying around the place. Deku not only suffers recoil damage, but also knockback.
Side Special
Manchester Smash
Deku leaps forward with green lightning. He then performs an axe kick downwards. The kick itself is powerful, but the collision with the ground will create a shockwave. Deals minor recoil damage upon hitting the ground.
  • Direct Manchester Smash - Instead of leaping into the air, Deku launches himself directly forward.
  • Hurricane Manchester Smash - As Deku jumps, he flips. This adds extra distance, but weakens the move. Deals no recoil damage.
  • Connected Manchester Smash - Deku does a roundhouse kick. If this attack connects, he goes into a more powerful version of Manchester Smash.
Up Special
St. Louis Smash
Deku focuses One For All into his leg, and leaps into the air. He delivers a roundhouse kick that has some serious knockback, and can reflect projectiles.
  • Spiking St. Louis Smash - This version of the move is slightly weaker, but can spike enemies.
  • Arcing St. Louis Smash - Instead of jumping directly upwards, Deku jumps in an arc.
  • Shoot Style - Deku doesn't attack, instead jumping a high distance.
Down Special
Full Cowl
Deku channels One For All across his body, becoming surrounded by green lightning. With Full Cowl, Deku is speedier and slightly stronger, and his recoil damage is negated. However, if he suffers significant damage or knockback, Full Cowl will be cancelled. This move takes a while to execute, leaving Deku vulnerable.
  • Full Cowl: Toshinori Style - Instead of evenly distributing his energy, Deku focuses it into his arms, increasing the power of arm attacks significantly.
  • Full Cowl: Shoot Style - Deku channels One For All into his feet, greatly increasing the power of his foot attacks, but doing nothing for his arm attacks.
  • Full Cowl Counter - In order to activate Full Cowl, Deku will have to counter a move with it, much like Incineroar's Revenge.
Final Smash
1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash
Deku uses One For All at its full capacity, and more! He delivers a devastating punch that comes with a massive windbox, sure to KO opponents. Of course, it does take a toll on poor Deku.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Deku adjusts his gloves.
  • Side Taunt - Deku smiles at the screen, shaking his hand.
  • Down Taunt - Deku takes some notes, mumbling to himself.
Kirby Hat Kirby gets Deku's messy hairstyle.

Ochaco Uraraka KOFB

Uravity
Ochaco Uraraka is perhaps better known by her Hero name: Uravity. Through the pads on her fingers, Uravity is able to remove the effect of gravity on anything or anyone. Of course, overuse of her Quirk will cause her nausea. Though her Quirk would be best used as distant support, Uravity has no choice but to get up close and personal with her enemies if she wishes to inflict Zero Gravity on them. In Smash, she's a floaty character who can use her Quirk to launch even the heaviest of enemies. On the other hand, she's pretty light herself, and her recovery move makes her an even easier target.
Moveset
Entrance Uravity floats in, taking a deep breath after she lands.
Zero Gravity Some of Uravity's moves inflict Zero Gravity on opponents, making them extremely floaty and unable to control their momentum. This makes them easy to punish and susceptible to knockback, but if Uravity holds them in the air for too long, she'll get nauseous. Her attacks will get weaker and she'll start moving slower, until eventually she collapses and loses her hold. Though it can be tempting to keep enemies airborne for easy combo fodder, it's important to remember to use your Standard Special regularly.
Standard Special
Skill Release
Uravity presses her hands together, and anything held in the air by her Quirk falls. The further they are from the ground, the more damage this will deal. On the other hand, if they're already close to the ground then they'll be stunned if they don't react in time..
  • Crash Release - Everything falls with more force, dealing more damage in the process. However, anything falling can hurt Uravity.
  • Fracture Release - Deals damage to enemies upon release, but doesn't send them into freefall.
  • Magnet Release - As everything is released, they'll gravitate towards Uravity. Can be great for setting up combos, but terrible if you're just releasing to stop Uravity's nausea.
Side Special
Stardust Lift
Uravity reaches out to touch her opponent to inflict Zero Gravity on them. Once affected, she'll toss them upwards. Works as an easy way to inflict Zero Gravity, as well as a quick way to get enemies airborne.
  • Stardust Punch - Instead of launching her enemy upwards, Uravity punches them, sending them backwards.
  • Stardust Drop - Uravity inflicts Zero Gravity on her enemy and instantly releases it for them, sending them plummeting to the ground rapidly. On the ground this is an effective way to rack up damage, and is an effective spike in midair.
  • Stardust Hold - Uravity inflicts Zero Gravity on her enemy, then dodges backwards. They hover in place for a short bit, allowing her to follow up. The range of the attack is lacking, though.
Up Special
Featherweight + Hover Soles
Uravity presses her hands against her hips, inflicting Zero Gravity upon herself. From here, she activates her Hover Soles, allowing her to freely fly. An excellent recovery, though the Featherweight effect lingers for a while. It's not as bad as her targets - since her outfit weighs her down a bit - but it does make her a bit of an easy target.
  • Featherweight Soles - Uravity activates Zero Gravity on only her boots. With her Hover Soles, she can only ascend directly upwards - otherwise she'd lose balance - but there's no Featherweight effect on Uravity.
  • Levitation - Uravity inflicts full-on Zero Gravity on herself, allowing her to float around with a small amount of mobility. Can only be cancelled via Skill Release.
  • Hover Propulsion - Uravity inflicts Featherweight on herself and uses her Hover Soles to fly in the inputted direction. Deals a bit of damage, too!
Down Special
Meteor Shower
Uravity presses her fingers together, causing a shower of debris around her, starting from a high point. The longer she goes without using this move, the more debris she racks up, making this move even more powerful!
  • Meteor Downpour - A slightly stronger version of the move, though it only hits the area in front of Uravity.
  • Meteor Cascade - The debris is all sharp, making this a powerful move. However, it takes significantly longer to charge up.
  • Meteor Drizzle - A weaker version of Meteor Shower that only uses a portion of debris, allowing you to save up.
Final Smash
Home Run Comet
Uravity grabs a large pillar, holding it with her Quirk. She swings it around, sending out a blast of debris. The swing itself is exceptionally powerful, but the projectiles aren't anything to shrug off.
Taunts
  • Up Taunt - Uravity turns her back to the screen, looking back and giving a thumbs up.
  • Side Taunt - Uravity floats in the air for a short bit, spinning around.
  • Down Taunt - Uravity adjusts her cuffs, then kicks her feet a bit.
Kirby Hat Kirby wears Uravity's visor. Instead of Skill Release, he gets Meteor Shower.
Classic Mode
Rescue Hero Training
Uravity's Classic Mode has her facing off against characters who were based around support or healing in their home games. The Bonus Game makes heavy use of Uravity's Zero Gravity mechanic.

Final Destination
SSBRemix
Final Destination is a platform floating between dimensions, travelling through space and time. At least, that's the theory. Very little is known about the stage, other than the fact that Master Hand is frequently fought here. In this iteration, the stage seems very futuristic, but inspection of the bottom of the stage reveals many old-fashioned gears and cogs. What's the deal with this contrast?

Master Beast A wolf-like creature who attacks with lightning, shadowy spikes, and its barbed tail. Watch out for its biting attacks - they'll heal the Master Beast right back up!
Master Edges Five swords made of pure shadow, though still as sharp as ever. They attack as separate entities, though they all share the one health bar.
Master Giant A humanoid titan that lurks in the background of the stage, attacking with its massive fists - resembling Master Hand and Crazy Hand, as well as inhaling the fighters.
Master Leviathan A shadowy dragon that rarely touches the ground. It will attack with its wings, razor-sharp energy blasts, and attempt to blow you off the stage with its wings.
Master Totem A large pillar erupts in the center of the stage, but can reposition itself at any time. Master Totem attacks by summoning attacks from the ground, so it's best to stay airborne.

amiibo Compatibility[]

UncleAmiibo

amiibo can be used in conjunction with Super Smash Bros. Remix to create Figure Players. These fighters are CPUs written to the amiibo figures, who will learn new skills and gradually become better as they fight.

amiibo Pavilion[]

Much like Dojos from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's adventure mode, your amiibo can learn a brand new fighting style by training them at the amiibo Pavilion, run by good ol' Uncle Amiibo.
