|For your version of a Mod Tier List (whatever it would called), you can ask me permission via PM in chat to make your own and add it to the main page. However, there are those directives to follow;
This is the competitive Tier List provided by Gear Games from the statistics of "For Glory" and Nintendo's Tourneys. The procedures had been verified and seen on each of the individual characters (Raichu, Hawlucha and Swampert of the Pokemon Trainer are counted as individual characters), which the following are;
- Efficiency of each players based on win/loss ratio.
- The outcomes of the two characters.
- The average of victories on the average amount of time this character is used. (Overused does not meant constant victory)
- And last but not least, only the default set (no Custom Moves used) can be used, with no Equipment allowed, against other players with default set, and only Alternate Moves vs Alternate Moves on the other side.
Take note that this is not because the character is in higher tier does mean that he/she is good, but simply won by multiple players, and not because the character is lower tier does mean that he/she is bad but possibly misused. For more information and controversies about Tier List, see the page from here.
Gear Games' Tier Lists
The following tier lists only influence on win/loss retro of Gear Games' online tournaments.
Does to the vigorous modifications for the game balance, most of the characters had drastically changed and may result an unpredictable top tier and bottom tier. This caused an outrage for some players in the first place. The official Tier List (where the characters are only allowed to use their default Special Moves) is the most focused aspect, although some players do not mind about any of these tiers.
As of Version 1.0.6, the tier will now only count victory and loss in Tourney.
Official (Online Tourneys)
Version is currently 1.0.6.
There is more high-tiers than in low tiers in this version, and thus there are several purposes that some tiers should be put together for simpler view, since this game become more balanced compared to the other Super Smash Bros. games.
Bowser, the current top tier, is another heavyweight that, unlike Swampert, is a bit speedy and capable to do powerful shield-breaks like Ganondorf. What makes Bowser having better overall victory/loss ratio than Ganondorf in the recent days is that Bowser have better recovery, better shield, is heavier, and can actually able to do combos that, before it was discovered, only clever players had thought of those.

Community Tier List
This is a different version that is made from three places; official Smash tournaments in real life, the aforementioned Tourneys and Community Tourneys from many communities that allowed all fighters and disallowed items and hazards. It is decided by the whole community in Smash Board instead of Gear Games itself, and tend to be more accurate than Gear Games' version. Take notice that this is only the first month and that with Update Characters coming soon, the list is only a placeholder and first thought of the communities.
These are judged from well-known Gear Games Communities, such as Power-Cup and Smash Boarders. Those are often high-leveled and professional compared to the Gear Games' Tourneys players who ranged from mediocre from professional.
In certain Communities, Wario is separated into two character; Brawl Wario, which he uses his traditional WarioWare Moveset, and Nostalgia Wario, which uses his Nostalgia Moveset. The server where the tournaments are played is modded, which disallow switch of Brawl Wario and Nostalgia Wario.
Mods Tier List
Notice that the Mods' Tier List will made little to no influence to the official Tier Lists.
The Fatal Toxins
This tier list is based on For Glory version with the same condition as above but also requires the Toxicity mechanic. The Fighters are also changed for a more balanced gameplay. While most former top tiers such as Wario and Swordfighter had lowered to A or lower, some are still not affected too much by this, and Mega Man, Genesect and Inkling are still top-tier, and the latter one had become SS Tier despite its own nerfs.
This tier list indicate that many flaws had made, and many fighters are buffed except those of the S and SS Rank compared to the Official Tier List. However, the Inkling, as mentioned before, even if nerfed she/he can still take full advantage from the Toxicity and combine this with the Ink mechanic to overwhelm any foes, although it is not as game breaking as the Swordfighter in the official version and viable counters against the Inkling are water-using characters (notably Swampert, an S-tier of this mod), King Kube KiloBot and Donkey Kong. It is also considerably more balanced than the original Great Fray.
During Beta Test, Captain Falcon had absurb buffs compared to more reasonable one, and make him instant SS tier, and then banned until his absurb buffs become more reasonable. While his defenders are angry that he loses his such absurb buffs, others who are very frustrated to face Captain Falcon are actually happy with the new does to nearly never winning against an opponent who is spamming his absurbly buffed Falcon Punch and the knee attack. Captain Falcon is still on high list but not beyond A so far.
Take notice that the reason of the "Falcon Plague" is that Captain Falcon is even more capable for a zero-to-death combos, far even more than the previous official Top Tier, Mii Swordfighter, and the current Top Tier, Swampert, is not even capable to do so.

- This is the first Super Smash Bros. game that have a customization character to reach top tier, which in this case is the Mii Swordfighter, but it only apply in the initial version.
- However, another Custom Fighter had become the next top tier after the latest tier update, which is Swampert (part of the Pokemon Trainer Custom Fighter).
- The case had continued in the Fatal Toxins mod, which this time is the Inkling.
