All-Star Mode is unlocked once all playable characters are unlocked. Like in SSBB, players pick a character and fight all fighters by series. The order of the fights are in the order the series came out (not the game they starred at) and on their representative stage(s). No more than two opponents appear at the time. When the player clears All-Star Mode, he is rewarded with the Final Smash of the character he used to complete it.
Special Notes: Although Geno belongs to the Mario universe, he is fought seperately from the other Mario characters due to being a third-party mascot. As a result, the Mario Universe is fought twice.
Because the Yoshi series and the F-Zero series where released at the same year, at the same day, they will sometimes be swapped with each other, either fighting the Yoshi series first or the F-Zero series.
The player is awarded with the Final Smash trophy of the character he/she used to clear All-Star Mode. These kind of trophies are shiny and glowy with multiple colours.
