ExplodeUpon spawning from the PokéBall, Electrode will darken from his original colouration to a dark, red-black colour before exploding. The moment before he explodes, he can be picked up and thrown.

SplashMagikarp will bounce around the stage uselessly, as Goldeen did in previous installments.
|
|
|
|

Lapras
|
Ice BeamUpon spawning onto the stage, Lapras will let out a long, whale-like cry, before firing a beam of ice across the stage. It deals low damage, but high knockback and freezes all who come in contact with the beam.

Snorlax

Body SlamSnorlax will spawn on the ground and jump upwards off-screen. After a second, he will fly through the stage downwards, pushing everyone who touches him away.

Articuno
|
FlyArticuno stays suspended in the air briefly before flying upwards, freezing anyone who makes contact with it.
|
|
|
|
|
Zapdos
|
FlyZapdos stays suspended in the air briefly before flying upwards, shocking anyone who makes contact with it.

Moltres

FlyMoltres stays suspended in the air briefly before flying upwards, burning anyone who makes contact with it.

Mew

FlyMew flies away, dropping a trophy as it does.
|
|

Unown

Hidden PowerA single Unown will spawn, before flying to either the top right or top left of the screen. A large storm of Unown will then fly from the corner to the opposite one diagonally, doing low knockback, but forcing players that get caught in the storm upwards.

Wobbuffet

ReflectAfter spawning in, Wobbuffet will stand in place, and salute. Attacking it will have it rock back and forth, doing damage to anyone - including those who released it - who touches it.

Qwilfish
|
Fell StingerQwilfish will spawn, floating a little above the screen, and spin around. If an opponent touches Qwilfish, it will enlarge and act like a large spike. If it KO's the opponent, it will spit sparkling water out of its mouth. If anyone touches the water, it will temporarily boost the damage they deal.

Heracross

MegahornAfter spawning, the horn on Heracross' head will expand and he will charge across the screen very quickly. His knockback power is huge, and it is very likely to result in an OHKO.

Delibird
|
PresentAfter spawning into the battle, Delibird will raise a large, glowing present above itself. The present will open, and can do a variety of different things: unleash a random enemy from Smash Run, unleash a circle of energy that heals anyone inside of it, explode or drop up to six items.

Raikou

SparkRaikou creates sparks around itself, damaging all that touch it.
|
|
|
|
|
Entei
|
Fire SpinEntei will spawn and look majestically up into the air, before stomping one of his front legs (whichever one faces the screen) and having a column of fire erupting from his back. Fire will also occasionally spin around him as well, doing spike damage. He will occasionally roar, as well.

Suicune

Aurora BeamSuicune fires a beam of white energy across the screen that deals damage and freezes opponents.
|
|
|
|
|
Mawile
|
CrunchUpon spawning from the PokéBall, Mawile will do a small spin, before her crocodile mouth chomps in a random direction. This attack is similar the Ultimate Chimera's from Brawl, in that it deals high knockback and high damage, though Mawile's is not a guaranteed OHKO.

Gulpin

SwallowAfter spawning from a PokéBall, Gulpin will sit on the stage, and not move. Should an opponent approach him, he will swallow them, and chew on them, doing damage, before spitting them out after a few seconds.

Cacturne

Pin MissileAfter spawning in, Cacturne will stick his hand up into the air, before releasing four large spikes straight upward from the tip of his hand. These cause massive damage and knockback.

|

Latias

Steel WingLatias spawns and flies off the stage, before Latios and Latias criss-cross the stage, dealing damage when hitting opponents and pushing items and fighters with the wind they create while they move.

CharmUpon being released from the PokéBall, Lopunny, using her feminine appearance, does a spin before striking a pose, while a large heart appears behind her. Any opponent within a certain distance of her will then be charmed, and be unable to attack for three seconds.

Bonsly

TackleBonsly will spawn, and begin to walk around the stage. Fighters can pick Bonsly up and throw it at players several times, before it disappears.
|
|
|
|

Chatot
|
ChatterFrom the Poké Bal thrown, Chatot will emerge and begin to hop around the stage. Should he be attacked by an opponent, he will unleash a small, radial shockwave that confuses anyone trapped inside of it for a few moments.
|
|
|
|

Snover

Icy WindSnover will spawn, with a shield of icy wind spinning around him. Touching him will cause damage, and after 20 seconds, the icy wind will blast away from him.
|
|
|
|

Weavile
|
False SwipesUpon spawning from a PokéBall, Weavile will run back and forth, swiping wildly. While the attack does minimal damage, it does cause stunning.
|
|
|

Palkia
|
Spatial RendLike Skull Kid, Palkia inverts the stage to be upside-down.
|
|
|
|
|
Shaymin
|
Seed FlareShaymin will fire two seeds forwards, that explode and create an "X" with energy beams that deal massive damage as they travel through platforms.

|
|
|
|
Arceus
|
GravityArceus will buck, and cry creating a white circle of light around itself that knocks opponents downwards, OHKOing opponents that are in the air with no platform below them.
|
|
|
|
|
Scraggy
|
Scary FaceScraggy will spawn, and pull up his "pants". He will then do a "scary face", which will make any character in front of him become confused. He will frown before de-spawning.

Techno BlastGenesect will fire three thin beams across the stage, before switching to a larger one that can travel through platforms.

Play RoughUpon spawning from the PokéBall, Slurpuff will run happily toward an enemy opponent and begin to try to hug them. Instead, it's attempt to hug does damage to the person. It will despawn after about 20 seconds.

GeomancyXerneas boosts the stats of all fighters, but gives the greatest stat boost to the one who spawned it.
