Final Destination, although classified as a new stage, is technically a returning stage that appears in Super Smash Bros. Crusade. It was revealed on July 2, 2015 and heavily resembles the version seen in Super Smash Bros. 4.

Final Destination is unique in that it has no gimmicks whatsoever. It is a singular, solid platform floating in space with no other platforms and hazard. Because of its layout, Final Destination is considered to be one of the most competitive stages in Smash.

Omega Form

Due to being the basis of this Special Form, Battlefield is the only stage not to have an Omega Form; instead, selecting it will largely increase the size of the main platform, which is better suited for 8-player Smash.

Battlefield Form

Final Destination now adds 3 non-solid platforms to the top of the platform in order to resemble Battle field. The platforms on the edges are a solid color, but the one in the middle is a mix of both, which reference the main platform of Final Destination.

Nobody really knows WHAT Final Destination is. All it appears to be is a singular platform, but it travels through the cosmos as fights ravage on. It's the residence of Master Hand and Crazy Hand, and is supposedly where they work to keep the balance stable in the world of Smash. The Special Forms also appear to have some connection to Final Destination...
