Adventure Mode acts similar to Melee. It's short, has several stages from most series', and has a few enemies appearing at once. However, it has some similarities to the Subspace Emissary as well including the Subspace Stage, Bosses such as Tabuu, and Subspace enemies such as Primids. The bosses only have half of their life from what they had in Brawl. Below shows the stages in order.
Adventure Mode | |
---|---|
Stage 1 | Mushroom Kingdom |
Part I | A Side Scrolling level containing several enemies from the Mario Series. With Brick Block's and ? Block's that mostly contains item's. Scenery of the Mushroom Kingdom including Peach's Castle & Bowser's Castle also appear's in the background. |
Part II | A Boss Battle against Dry Bowser. Dry Bowser's moveset as a boss includes most of the moves Giant Bowser has in New Super Mario Bros. U and Bowser's Koopa Claw move. He is fought in a flat greens area. |
Stage 2 | Hyrule |
Part I | A Side Scrolling level that contains all the enemies from the Melee's Adventure Mode from the Under Ground Maze. |
Part II | A fight against Link & Zelda/Sheik will occur in the stage Death Mountain |
Stage 3 | Dream Land |
Part I | A Side Scrolling level that acts like the world Cookie Country that contains lots of Kirby enemies. |
Part II | A battle that contains 10 Kirby's that the player would have to defeat. 3 Kirby's will appear at once and are easy to KO. |
Stage 4 | PokePark |
Part I | A fight against Pikachu & Lucario on the PokePark Cove Area Stage. |
Part II | A boss battle against Rayquaza. Nothing has changed from his appearance from Brawl including his moveset. |
Stage 5 | PNF-404 |
Part I | A Side Scrolling level that contains several enemies from the Pikmin series and has a similar vibe to the Garden of Hope. The S.S. Drake and the S.S. Dolphin both makes a cameo appearance. This place is the only place to earn the S.S. Drake and S.S. Dolphin trophy by hitting the the only 2 Orange Cubes in this level. |
Part II | A boss battle against the Burrowing Snagret . His moves are slightly mirrored from Rayquaza, but also has some of his own moves as well. |
Stage 6 | Subspace |
Part I | A brief Side Scrolling level that contains some of the old enemies in the Subspace Emissary. This is by far the shortest Side Scrolling level in adventure mode. |
Part II | A fight against 2 random character's. |
Part III | A boss battle against Tabuu. Not all of his moves are present from Brawl. At the end of the battle, a cut scene showing the fighter earning his or her retro trophy will be shown as well as Tabuu turning into a trophy and the player knocking off his trophy off the platform. |
Below shows the enemies that appear in Adventure mode.
