Super Mario Universe (Afro's Version)

Super Mario Universe will be an upcoming installment in the Super Mario franchise that will be developed by Sactown Studios. The game will be the sequel to Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U, and has been confirmed to be a "successor" to Super Mario 64, mainly due to the style of levels power-ups, and gameplay. In addition, the game has been confirmed to handle four players simultaneously in a homage to both Super Mario 3D World and the New Super Mario Bros. games. The game's levels have been designed in a style that is similar to tracks found in Mario Kart 8, making this one of the first main series Mario games to feature city style levels. In addition, various characters from the Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Wario franchises make their first appearences in a mainstream Mario game.

Gameplay

Super Mario Universe's gameplay is based off of a blend of the gameplay and open world exploration that was found in Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and both Super Mario Galaxies 1 & 2. All playable characters have basic punching and kicking attacks as well as being able to jump and ground pound. Some characters such as Luigi can jump higher than the others as well. The game makes full use of power-ups as well.

Story

After being beaten by Mario and his friends yet again Bowser begins to debate throwing in the towel, and give up trying to kidnap Peach or take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Before he is about to leave to surrender and leave the Mushroom Kingdom, Kamek informs him that the best way to take over the Mushroom Kingdom is not only kidnap Peach for the umpteenth time, but rather to kidnap Mario and all of his friends. Bowser begins to enjoy the idea, and decides that he should gather the other villains of the Mushroom Kingdom to come together to get revenge on their enemies. Because of this, an unlikely band of heroes from different backgrounds come together to save the usual heroes, and to save the Mushroom World from disaster.!
