•Mario
-Mario is an all-around character with a standard jump and speed perfect for beginners. His special ability is the spin jump, which can be triggered by shaking the Wii remote.

•Luigi
-Luigi's special ability goes along with his fantastic jump height; it is a slightly slow descent with a floating-style raise. He also has considerable speed. However, Luigi has very poor strength and traction, which makes him a good choice for more experienced players.

•Wario
-Wario is an extremely strong character with amazing traction and a unique air-floating ability. However, his other physics make him not the best choice for a bounce-loving player.

-Despite Blue Toad's low jump, his flipping ability and high speeds make him a stealthy character good for all players.

•Boom-Boom
-Boom-Boom will spin across the platform trying to attack you. He must be attacked 3 times to be defeated. He is found in all fortresses.
•Num-Num
-Found in all airships, Num-Num will act similarly to Boom-Boom, but can also leap to cause POW-block-power shocks. He can also throw sledgehammers at you. Stomp him 3 times to defeat him.
•Yoob
-Yoob will try to stop on you as well as try to eat you. To attack him, you must drop a spike block on his tongue 3 times and have him swallow them. He is found in the World 1 castle.
•Big Bob-omb
-Big Bob-omb will throw smaller bob-ombs at you. To defeat him, you must throw 3 back at him. He is found in the World 2 castle.
•Goomboss
-The Goomboss will try to chase you around his arena as well as spawn hyper paragoombas to fight for him. You must ground-pound him 3 times to defeat him. However, he will get angry after 2 hits and will spawn more goombas and become bigger and faster He is found in the World 3 castle.
•Cheepskipper
-Cheepskipper is a large cheep-cheep who will continuously jump out of his lake in pursuit of you. To kill him, you must trick him into jumping into 3 of the fire blocks. He is found in the World 4 castle.
•Ukiki the Monkey
-Ukiki the Monkey can be found in World 5's castle. He will climb around the vines of his arena throwing bananas at you. Trick him into throwing bananas at the trampolines to counterattack him 3 times to defeat him.
•General Guy
-General Guy will attempt to roll over you in his chariot while spawning several shy guy variants to fight for him. The way to defeat him is by hitting each of the 3 bulbs on his chariot with a statue guy. The boss fight takes place in World 6's castle.
•Mummipokey
-In World 7's castle, Mummipokey can be found. Mummipokey will fire his regrowable segments at you in pursuit of killing you. To defeat him, ground-pound his segments to knock them to the ground, then throw 3 of them at his head segment.
•Bowser
-In the Castle of World 8, Bowser is waiting in the battle room. Bowser will try to make parts of the ceiling fall on you over the bridge. You have to jump over him to cause parts of the ceiling to fall on him 3 times to defeat him.
•Bowser & the Koopa Family
-Bowser's Castle of World 8 has an extremely nasty boss fight. To kill Bowser Jr., ground-pound him in his Koopa Clown Car to take control of it. Then, press the dash button to launch fireballs from hit. Once one hits Bowser Jr., you will fall out of the clown car, but he will loose health. Repeat this twice more to move on to the Koopalings. In this room, each koopaling will attempt to attack you. Only one stomp each will defeat them. After this, you will be taken to Bowser's room. Bowser can be jumped over to access a switch. When the switch is pressed, Bowser will fall into the lava. However, while Mario attempts to rescue Princess Peach, Bowser will be resurrected and supersized. He will now attempt to continuously stomp on you and kill you by spinning in his shell. To defeat him, grab his huge clown car and shoot fireballs with the dash button. These will only affect him when he is out of his shell, but 5 hits will cause defeat.
•Dry Bowser
-Dry Bowser can be found in the castle of World 9. Dry Bowser will continuously jump around the stage in attempt to attack you as well as throwing bones at you. Hitting the switch will open up lava pools, and fool Dry Bowser into entering one to defeat him.
