The versions currently used are SMBX 1.3.0.1, SMBX 1.4.2 and SMB 2.0.

Version 1.3 was the last created by Redigit, Version 1.3.0.1 is only a graphical update, Version 1.4 does not exist, Version 1.4.1 e Version 1.4.2 add new features, but these versions were not created by Redigit.

Version 2.0 is the version 1.3.0.1 with LunaLUA increases the gaming possibilities.

The official story states that it was Nintendo who made Redigit and his staff stop updating SMBX, but there were people who said it was Redigit who wanted to stop to be able to develop the game Terraria
