Super Mario Bros. 4 (Super Mario: Retro Star Remix/スーパーマリオ:レトロスターリミックス in the Japanese version) is an installment of the Super Mario series. While it acts like an sequel to Super Mario Bros. 3, it also takes place after the events of Super Mario World (despite that in Japan, this game's sub-title is Super Mario Bros. 4). It was also for the MegaToon WaveSystem and was also in 16-bit, making it look and feel like an SNES game, despite that the character sprites do not follow the SNES's color limitations.
