"Super Mario Bros.: Distant Future," is a 3D action platforming game made by Dino Bino Inc. and made for the Wii U. However, it's not about Mario and his brother, Luigi. Now, it's about their kids, Marco and Logan.
It is currently unknown if there will be a sequel, or even a series.
Plot
30 years ago, two Italian plumber, Mario and Luigi, had succeeded in killing the evil King of Koopas, Bowser. Bowser had kidnapped Peach, the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. However, the Mario Bros. somehow knocked Bowser into a hot, purple goo, and he died.
20 years after Bowser's death, Mario and Peach had 2 kids, Marco and Peyton. Luigi and his love interest, Daisy, also had kids, Logan and Diane. Now all at age 10, the 4 kids easily befriended each-other.
However, Bowsers's son, Bowser Jr., now at age 40, decided that his half-siblings, The Koopalings, would revive Bowser, and kill the Mario Bros.. Using his father's old Clown Car, Bowser Jr. went and kidnapped Peyton, while the Koopalings attacked different lands.
Marco, Logan, Mario, and Luigi set off to stop Bowser Jr., the Koopalings, and their plans to revive their father.
Playable Characters
Marco: The main hero! Marco is Mario's son, and he'll stop at nothing to save his sister!
Logan: Luigi's son! Logan has the highest jumps in the game and, like Luigi, is scared of ghosts.
Mario (Age 60): Marco's father! Mario, even at an old age, still saves princess' and damsels in distress!
Luigi (Age 60): Mario's brother and Logan's father! He still saves princess' and he's still afraid of ghosts!
