|Super Mario 64: Bowser's Revenge|
Super Mario 64: Bowser's Revenge is a game for Wii U and another sequel to Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. The game is heavily based on Super Mario 64 series, but it is a Mario game in the vein of games like (New) Super Mario Bros. series, Super Mario World, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 and Super Mario 3D Land & 3D World.
Peach writes a letter to Mario, telling him to come to her castle because she is making a party for the reform of the castle and also because she is baking a cake for him. Mario, happily, run outside his house and jumps on a pipe to the castle. Luigi jumps on the pipe a bit later. Apparently, Wario and Waluigi somehow read the letter themselves and catch up behind Mario and Luigi, hoping to stela some gems or gold from the castle. The Mario Brothers stop and race into the castle, where encounters Toad and Yoshi at the door and they all enter in the castle. The group see Peach alongside with Toadswoth, Daisy and Toadette who shows the reform that occurred at the castle, that does not have more the older Bowser signs, like his portraits and the other ways to enter at his old levels. Instead, they are all at the Basemet. While, the Wario brothers try to enter in the castle, failing because of the new security system.
Meanwhile, Bowser appears to be walking with Bowser Jr., Kamek, his Koopalings and Big Bob-omb (as a guard), remembering the last battles that had with Mario, losing all of them (and also losing his castle, that is destroyed). He, although several places that are dominated by the Koopa Clan, promisses to arrange a new castle, thinking on a invasion at Peach's Castle...
While the group is having dinner together, some tremors are felt by all at the castle. All of them run at outside, seeing one Bowser Airship launching cannons at the castle and punching the castle with two large mechanic hands. The heroes see Bowser and Bowser Jr., who says that they arrived at the perfect time to conquer Peach's Castle. Even trying to stop Bowser and Bowser Jr., Mario, Luigi and Toad get trapped by the Koopalings, Kamek and Big Bob-omb. The Wario brothers get also trapped by the villains, being angry with them. Yoshi, by a explosion of a Bob-omb launched by Big Bob-omb, was send away and disappeared. Kamek, using his magic, changes the style of the castle and outside, transforming it into a new Bowser's Castle, surrounded by a volcanic and mountainous background. The entrie place is covered by a magic cloud shield, preventing anyone from the Mushroom Kingdoom to enter or leave there. Bowser traps Peach at the top of the castle and traps Mario, Luigi, Toad, Wario and Waluigi at one specific room, each one behind one door locked by a specific key, and giving each key to some specific bosses. Daisy and Toadette were also captured. Bowser Jr., inside the castle create new paints and entrances to new locations dominated by the Koopa Clan and send the stars used to keep Peach at the top of the castle at these places.
After the invasion of Bowser, Yoshi awake and see a new-styled Bowser's Castle, surrounded by some airships. Yoshi doesn't remember anything and asks a frightened Toad what happened. It tells Yoshi everything occurred. Yoshi tries to enter the castle, but the doors are locked. A Lakitu Bro. appears and says that the key is located behind iron bars near the Chain Chomp. To get it, Yoshi first has to free the Chain Chomp by Ground Pounding its pole three times. Freed, it will destroy the iron bars and Yoshi will be able to get the key. After enterinig in the castle, Yoshi sees Toadsworth hidden and he explains that the other heroes are trapped and Yoshi needs to get the Power Stars that were sent by Bowser Jr. to some new worlds.
After collecting at least 100 stars and getting Toad, Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi keys, the player can finally fight Bowser for the "final" time. Mario ascends a staircase at the top of the castle to face Bowser for the final time. After making it though another one of Bowser's obstacle courses, Mario encounters Bowser and the two battle.
Bowser ends up defeated, gives up and hands Mario the Giant Power Star before he explodes. When Mario grabs the final Power Star, the Star leaves Mario to the front of the castle. All the magic of Kamek disapears and the castle returns to normal. Finally, he lands in front of the castle where Toadsworth, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Yoshi and some friends found at the levels are waiting for him. Mario uses the power of the Power Stars to teleport Peach to the front of the castle. All the heroes rush up to her as she appears. Peach is surprised to see the other ones but she still thanks them, Peach kisses Mario and says they will make another cake. Peach and the heroes walk into the castle. Mario starts to do so himself, but then pauses and turns around to look at the upward, listening to Bowser's laught. Peach calls him, and he rushes after her. The player, although, can see a shadow of Dry Bowser before the credits.
Kamek, after Bowser's defeating, creates another identical castle next to Peach's castle. After the end, the game returns into Mario at the main room to he collect the rest of the power stars. But first, Toadsworth says to the heroes that Green Power Stars have appeared in the paintings, whose can only be get by some specific heroes and also that a pipe has appeared outside, which leaving the player to Peach's Castle, where you can visit Peach, see the castle desingn. On this floor, some Lumas reveal to the player that their mother, Princess Rosalina, was also captured by Dry Bowser after beign defeated by the heroes. He gets the Giant Green Star from her to strengthen himself to the true final showdown. After the player beats Dry Bowser, it saves Princess Rosalina and the Giant Green Star, being truly grateful and announces, with the Princesses Peach and Daisy that the heroes get all the Stars to restore the power of Peach's Castle.
