This is a list of all the Power Stars in Super Mario 3D World.

Area 1

Missions
Rolling Greens
Already Unlocked
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Big Bob-omb's Return	The player needs to reach Big Bob-omb and battle him to get the Power Star.
On the fort	The player has to find a way to get to the fort and got on the top to get the Power Star.
The Chain Chomp's Gate	The player must pound on the Chain Chomp's stake 4 times to make it break the gate to get the Power Star.
Rolling Green's Speed Run	The player must reach the area they fought Big Bob-omb in a certain amount of time and defeat the Grand Goomba at the end to recieve the Power Star.
Penguin's Snow Mountain

Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Climb to the Peak	The player has to climb up the tallest mountain in the course to get the Power Star.
The troubled Penguin	The player has to help Tuxie's mother by finding Tuxie and bringing her back, then they will receive the Power Star.
Purple Coins on the Summit	The player must get all 100 Purple Coins scattered across the course to receive the Power Star.
Snowy Cosmic Chase	The mission is just like the first mission but instead there will be Cosmic Clones flowing the player. Also it takes place at night and there are more enemies on the course.
Dusty Desert Dunes
Get 5 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Treasure Hunt in the Desert	The player has to find the pyramid and go inside it to get the Power Star.
A Race with Koopa the Quick	The player has to race Koopa the Quick to the oasis to get the Power Star.
Soaring in the Sandy Winds	The player has to use the Twisters to cross the large canyon to reach the Power Star. There are enemies in the sky that can hit the player and make them fall to the bottom of the canyon and will have to climb back up.
Speed Run in through the Sand	The player has to reach the oasis in a certain amount of time. The times starts at 30 seconds, there will be Plus Clocks to collect to get more time.
Lakitu's Sky Fortress
Get 8 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The King of Lakitus	The player has to find a way through the fortress to reach King Lakitu and battle him. There are many enemies like Lakitus, Spinies and others as well and obstacles such as wind and spikes. Also the player will find Yoshi and use him to battle King Lakitu.
Yoshi's Cloudy Journey	The player has to use Yoshi and climb up many clouds and reach the top of the fortress where they will get the Power Star.
King Lakitu's Daredevil Run	The player has to go through the fortress again and battle King Lakitu as small form.
Reversed Cloud Climbing	The player will start at the top of the fortress and will have to work their way down to the bottom. There are obstacles as well such as spikes, and wind. They will also have to use Yoshi, it will take place at night as well.
Bowser Jr.'s Battlegrounds
Get 12 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Clown Car Bashing	The player has to cross the battlegrounds dodging many enemies and objects such as Bullet Bills, Bob-ombs, and Fireballs. When the player reaches Bowser Jr.'s fortress they have to battle him using a Clown Car to bash him into electric fences.
Battlefield Speed Run	The player has to run throught the battlegrounds in a certain amount of time. There are Plus Clocks along the way, the time starts at 30 seconds and the player will have to reach the end by collecting the Clocks for more time.
Goombas Plains
Beat Bowser Jr.'s Battlegrounds
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Goombas in the Grass	The player has to travel all the way to the tower where the player will have to fight 3 Hammer Bros. to get the Power Star.
Goomba Romp	The player has to defeat all 40 Goombas in 70 seconds. They can use the Super Star to defeat all the Goombas. There are only Goombas and Grand Goombas.
Poison River Path
Beat Bowser Jr.'s Battlegrounds
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Down the River	The player is on a raft and there are many enemies that drop down. They have to make it all the way to the end without dying, at the end is the Power Star.
Purple Coins of the Poison River	The player must collect all 100 Purple Coins when they are going down the poison river. If they don't collect all of them they will lose a life. At the end they will be rewarded with a Power Star.

Area 2

Missions
Molten Magma Land
Beat Bowser Jr.'s Battlegrounds
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Being the Bully	The player needs to reach King Bully and fight him. When the player defeats him the will get a Power Star.
Atop the Building	The player has to climb to the top of the tallest building in the course. There are Spiked Balls which will come down the path to hurt the player. When the player reaches the highest point the can collect the Power Star.
Shell Surfing	The player must grab a Blue Shell and surf on the course in the lava. there are obstacles such as walls, Podoboos, and Magmaarghs. They will be rewarded with a Star at the end.
Cosmic Magma Chase	The player will have to go back up the tallest building but with Cosmic Clones flowing the player. When they reach the top they will get a Star.
Donkey Kong's Jungle
Get all the Stars in Goomba Plains and in Poison River Path.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Ape on the Loose!	The player needs to make it to the Jungle Stadium where the hypnotized Donkey Kong is. The player will have to battle Donkey Kong to get the Star and have DK back to normal.
Kongs in Need	The player has to talk to DK and Diddy Kong so they can help get their Bananas back. When the player finds the bananas they will have to battle many enemies.
DK's Daredevil Battle	The player will start outside the Jungle Stadium. They will have to battle DK again to get the Star, but this time as Small Mario.
Banana Speed Run	The player will have to get the Bananas back in a certain amount of time. If they make it they will get a Power Star.
Crazy Maze Cave
Find the Switch to open the covered Pipe.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The Ancient Hall	The player needs to find the long hallway and run down to the end. There will by enemies along the hall and at one point a huge boulder will come down and chase the player.
Put out the Fire	The player will get the Ice Flower in this mission. They will have to find the fire wall and put it out to reach the Power Star.
The Lost Toad	The player will find a Toad at the start. He will say that his friend is lost in the cave, the player will have to find the Toad and bring him back to get the Power Star.
Reversed Cave Exploration	The mission is the same mission as Put out the Fire but reversed. You have to first put out the fire wall then make your way to the actual start of the course. There are more enemies in the cave and some paths can't be taken.
Blooper Bay
Collect 24 Power Stars and ask to get onto the Boat.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Deep Sea Diving	The player must dive into the water and go into a cave to get the Gold Shell. They must bring it back and throw it at the Golden Chest which will open up with only the Gold Shell. In it will be the Power Star.
Gooper Blooper strikes again	The player have to cross the bay to reach an island. On the island is Gooper Blooper which the player will fight. When he's defeated they will get the Star.
Treasure in the Sea	The player will have to find a sunken ship in which they must go in it. In it will be the Power Star and a few enemies.
Purple Coin Bay	The player must collect all 100 Purple Coins. There are Purple Coins scattered in the water, on the island Gooper Blooper was at and on the beach.
Boom Boom's Airship Attack
Collect 32 Power Stars.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Boom Boom Attacks	The player will travel through an area filled with many airships and enemies such as Bullet Bills, Rocky Wrenches and Bob-ombs. At the end the player will fight Boom Boom to receive the Power Star.
Boom Boom's Daredevil Run	The player does the same thing but in small form. The player will also fight Boom Boom.
Boo's Graveyard
Beat Boom Boom's Airship Attack
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Creeping in the Night	The player must go through a large forest a night, there is a lot of fog and it is harder to see because of the fog. When the player reaches the end of the forest there will be a Star waiting for them.
Purple Coins of the Graveyard	The player will have to collect all 100 Purple Coins in the graveyard. They have 3 minutes to collect all of them. There are even Cosmic Clones following the player.
Mushroom Climb
Beat Boom Boom's Airship Attack
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Climb the Mushrooms High	The player will climb a series of mushrooms as well as many platforms. There are also many sky enemies like Paragoombas and Paratroopas. When they reach the top the will get a Power Star.
Reversed Mushroom Climbing	The player will start at the top and work their way down to the bottom where the Star will be. More enemies have been placed and it takes place at night.

Area 3

Missions
Boo's Haunted House
Beat Boom Boom's Airship Attack
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Exploring the Haunted House	The player will need to go to the very top of the mansion and go into the empty room in which King Boo will appear. The player will have to fight him to get the Power Star.
The Scared Toad	The player will have to find the Toad in one of the rooms. There are Boos that pretend to be the Toad but if you touch it you can get hurt. When the player finds the Toad they must bring him back outside.
Spider Stomp	The player must defeat all the Scuttle Bugs in a certain amount of time. There are 30 of them scattered in the Haunted House. When all of them are defeated the player will get the Power Star.
Purple Coin's in the Mansion	The player must collect all 100 Purple Coins scattered throughout the Haunted House. Some are even outside the house. After collecting all of them the player will receive the Star.
Honeybee Tree
Help a Toad by bringing him 20 Coins to buy something Toadette's Shop.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The Treetop Climb	The player will get the Bee Mushroom and be able to fly in the air for a short time. This will help them go up the tree. At the top will be a Bee to give the player a Power Star.
Attack of the Plant Monster!	The player have to go to the river valley. They will find Petey Piranha sleeping on a plateau in the river. The player needs to grab a Koopa Shell and throw it at Petey to wake him up. Then the player will have to battle him to get the Star.
Treetop Speed Run	The player will have to reach the top of the tree in a certain amount of time. If they run out of time they will have to start over.
Petey's Daredevil Run	The player will have to wake up Petey again but this time the player will have to barrels at him for him to fall down. Then the player will have to Ground Pound on his stomach. It will take the player 3 times to do it for him to be defeated.
Piranha Sewers
Ask the Toad to open up the seal for the Pipe to Piranha Sewers.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Deep in the Sewers	The player will have to go through many passages to find the exit out of the sewers. At the end is a Power Star.
Clogged up Pipes	The player has the find the area where there's a blockade that is blocking the water to go through. It has also caused a flood in some areas so the water is higher. When the player destroys it using Torpedo Teds to crash into it the player will earn the Power Star and all the water will flow properly.
The sealed Pipe	The player has the find the Key in order to open up a Pipe which will bring the player to an abandoned area of sewers. In the abandoned area is the Star.
Purple Coins on the water	The player will have to collect 100 Purple Coins out of 120 Purple Coins that are on the water in a certain amount of time. The player will also use the Blue Shell which can glide on the water to collect the Coins. At the end if the player collected enough Purple Coins they will get a Power Star.
Koopa's Castle
Get all Power Stars in Boom Boom's Airship Attack, Boo's Graveyard, and Mushroom Climb.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The Big Bad Chomp	The player will have to find the battle room where the Giant Red Chomp awaits the player. The player will have to battle him and defeat him, when the Giant Red Chomp is defeated the player will get a Star.
The Fenced Power Star	The player has the find the area where there's a blockade that is blocking the water to go through. It has also caused a flood in some areas so the water is higher. When the player destroys it using Torpedo Teds to crash into it the player will earn the Power Star and all the water will flow properly.
Spania Romp	The player has to defeat 40 Spanias in the battle room. They are able to use the Super Star to defeat all of them. When they are all defeated the player will earn a Star.
Reversed Cosmic Speed Run	The player will start in the battle room, they will have to run back to the starting area of the course to get the Star. There are Cosmic Clones as well and it's timed.
Bowser's Lava Castle
Get 52 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Storming the Castle	The player will have go through a large course with lava and many of Bowser's minions. It takes place outside of a large castle. When the player reaches Bowser they will have to battle him to get the Power Star
Castle Speed Run	The player will start at the beginning of the course and go through the entire course starting at 30 seconds the player will have to collect Plus Clocks to earn more time to get the Power Star.
Thwomp Desert
Beat Bowser's Lava Castle
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Thwomp's Hill	The player will have go up the hill the Power Star is on. There are many Thwomps on the hill such as Tail Thwomps, Wallops and other enemies.
Double Time Desert	The player will do the first mission over but everything such as enemies and obstacles are moving faster. It will be harder to avoid the Thwomps but at the top is the Power Star.
Music Melody Sky
Beat Bowser's Lava Castle
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Music Beats	The player will go through the sky filled with many instruments. They will have to get up to the Musical Palace and at the end is a Cannon to get the Power Star.
Cosmic Clone March	The player will have to reach the Mushroom towards opposite where the player starts. There will be Cosmic Clones following the player as well as more enemies and it takes place at night.

Area 4

Missions
Grass Temple
Beat Bowser's Lava Castle
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The Wiggler of the Temple	The player will need to go inside the temple and find the center of the temple and fight Wiggler to get the Power Star.
The Temple Top	The player will have get to the top of the temple by go up the path to the top, it will go inside the temple as well. At the top is the Power Star.
Koopa the Quick's run	The player must talk to Koopa the Quick to have a race to the temple and inside to to the goal. If the player reaches the goal inside the temple before him they will get a Power Star.
Reversed Temple Run	The player will start inside the temple where Wiggler was fought. The player will have to get outside and back to where the normal starting area is to claim the Power Star. It is dusk in the mission and more enemies have been added.
Cool Crystal Caverns
After getting the second Power Star from the Grass Temple Mario must free all the Toad's that were put into crystals. Then a Portal will open on the side of Toadette's Shop.
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The Crystallized Toads	The player will need to help 20 Toads that are trapped in Crystals that can only break open by using a Fire Flower. When all the Toads are free they will give the player a Power Star.
The Metal Switch	The player will have to use the Metal Mushroom and go to the underground lake and step on the P-Switch to open up the gate to the Power Star. The Star is in a crystal so the player will have to break it open using the spin attack.
Toad's in Need Speed Run	The player will have to redo the first mission but it is timed. They still have to free 20 Toads from the crystals using the Fire Flower. If they get them all free before time runs out they get a Star.
Purple Coins of the Caverns	The player will have to collect all of the 100 Purple Coins in the caverns. When they collect all of the Purple Coins they will get a Power Star. There are coins in the lake and in crystals too.
Koopa Industries Factory
Get 64 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The Goomba of the Factory	The player will have to find Goombatrol in Koopa's Factory the largest factory in the Mushroom World! The factory has many secrets and can be explored at anytime. Goombatrol is on a red tower, when the player reaches him the will have to defeat him to get the Star.
The Factory Roof	The player will have find a Warp Pipe that takes them to the roof of the factory. When they get onto the roof they can get the Power Star.
The tallest Tower	The player will have reach the top of the tallest tower in the tower. It is hard to tell which one is the tallest so the player may have to check every single one. A the top of the tallest tower is the Power Star.
Purple Coins in the Factory	The player will have to collect all of the 100 Purple Coins in the factory. When all 100 of them are collected the player will get a Star. They are scattered everywhere so the player may need to search hard.
Gloomy Boardwalk
Get 66 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Boo Boardwalk	The player must walk on the boardwalk to the end of it to collect the Power Star. On the path are many Boos and different paths.
Board the Pirate Ship	The player have to walk on the boardwalk to a dock and will take the player to an island. At the island is the Power Star. On the ship the player will fight several enemies.
Haunted Cosmic Run	The player will have reach the end of the boardwalk with Cosmic Clones and a certain amount of time. At the end is the Power Star.
Shy Stomping Romp	The player will have to defeat all the Shy Guys on the boardwalk. There are 30 of them and the player has to get all of the in a certain amount of time to get the Star.
Pom Pom's Bombship
Get 70 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Bob-ombs on the Airships	The player must go through a series of Airships. On the last airship is Pom Pom waiting for the player. There are many Bob-ombs, Bullet Bills, and [[Banzai Bill]s on the airships, there is also Rocky Wrenches that throw Bob-ombs.
Reversed Daredevil Run	The player will start on the last airship and will have to make their way to the last Airship where Pom Pom is waiting for them. This time the battle takes place on Donut Lifts.
Rocky Cliff
Beat Pom Pom's Bombship
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Moles of the Cliff	The player must go along the narrow cliff which has many Monty Moles, Morty Moles and other enemies. There are also Parabeetles to cross the trench. The Power Star is in a cave towards the end.
Daredevil Cliffs	The Player must go through the cliffs again but as small form. It is the same way as the first mission but with less enemies.
Delfino Village
Beat Pom Pom's Bombship
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The Village's Fruit	The player must hop onto Yoshi and have him eat all the Fruits for the village party. The fruit is scattered everywhere. There are some Piantas that will give some clues.
Speedy Fruit Run	The Player must use Yoshi again and collect all the Fruits in a certain amount of time. When all the fruit is collected the player will get a Star.

Area 5

Missions
Tick-Tock Tower Clock
Beat Pom Pom's Bombship
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
The broken Clock	The clock is all messed up and everything is moving fast. The player must go to the top of the tower and hit the switch which will make everything slow down and go back to normal when that's done the player will get a Power Star.
The Clock's Secret	The player will have get to the top of the tower and grab the Key which will make the door open up at the bottom of the tower. It leads into the gear room which is where there are many enemies and the Power Star.
Tick Tock Speed Run	The player must make it to the top of the tower in a certain amount of time. The time starts at 30 seconds, the player can collect Plus Clocks to keep the time from dropping to zero. At the top they have to hit the switch which makes the Star appear.
Cosmic Daredevil Run	The player will start at the bottom of the tower, they must collect the Key to open the door while in Small form and with Cosmic Clones. In the gear room is the Power Star.
Snowman Valley
Get 84 Power Stars
Mission Title	How to Get the Star	Star Type
Frozen Toad's in the town	The player has to go to the small town in the valley where there are many Frozen Toads, they area has many enemies and is surrounded by a huge moat that is very cold water. If the player goes into it the will lose a life. When all the Toads are saved they will give the player a Star.
Bowser's Attack	Bowser attacked the village making large Snow statues of him and making the Toad's frozen again. There are many enemies and the place is a disaster. The player needs to destroy all the Bowser sculptures using fireballs, and unfreeze all the Toads again. Then one of them will give the player a Power Star.
Snowy Purple Coins	The player must defeat 30 Snow Spikes using the Super Star. They must defeat all of them in a certain amount of time.
Midnight Beach
