Super Mario Bros.

Both Versions

Name Description Obtain Trophy Box
Mario "Mario jumped from being a little known plumbing star to a household name. Mario is Nintendo's princess saving mascot and has been fighting enemies for over 27 years! Old age hasn't slowed this plumber down... nor has it even shown on him. He doesn't seem to be a Kokiri from "The Legend of Zelda". Maybe all of those mushrooms he eats helps keep up his youthful appearances." Complete Classic Mode with Mario. Super Mario Bros./Mario
Mario Finale ""Oh Yeah!" sends fear into Mario's enemies once they hear it after Mario breaks open a Smash Ball. Mario sends flaming a tempest of fire towards foes; lighting them up with fire and carrying them clear across the stage! Those unfortunate to be caught in the attack will feel the burn." Complete All Star Mode with Mario on Normal or higher. Final Smashes 1
Mega Mario "Mario breaks open the Smash Ball, swallows a Mega Mushroom, and becomes a huge version of himself! In this form, Mario can bring devastation at a mega scale. All of his attacks have incredible reach and do impressive amounts of damage though Mario does lose some of his trademark nimbleness. This form is a perfect rivalry to that of Giga Bowser!" Collect all Mario trophies. Final Smashes 2
Mario (Hammer) "The Hammer is a power-up found with the Super Mario Bros. games. When Mario or his cohorts get this power, they can fling powerful hammers at foes, mimicking the abilities of the enemies, Hammer Bros. In Super Smash Bros., Mario can set them on fire for further fire damage or electricity for electric damage as custom specials." Hit an opponent over 60 times with the Hammer. Super Mario Bros./Mario
Mario (Surfing Shell) "The Surfing Shell is the most stylish way to move in the Mushroom Kingdom. Just defeat a Koopa Troopa and jump onto its shell! It may require some practice at first but people like Mario are true pioneers in shell surfing. In Super Smash Bros., Mario can glide forward while riding the shell while attacking enemies." Surf for a total of 50 feet using the shell. Super Mario Bros./Mario
Mario (Striped) "Mario looks very patriotic in his NES Open Golf Tournament outfit. Representing the stars and stripes for his golfing uniform, it's easy to forget that Mario was actually supposed to be Italian....or maybe Mushroom Kingdomian? Despite this change of attire, he is unable to actually performing golf moves or even wield a golf club. Go figure, huh?" Play Mario on Wii Sports Club or Forest Course 10 times. Super Mario Bros./Mario
Mario (Fire) "In the Super Mario Bros. games, Mario was able to grab a Fire Flower. This not only gave him the power to wield fire but also changed his attire to a red and white color palette. In Super Smash Bros. he doesn't need the Fire Flower to wield the elements of fire nor to change his attire. It's a mystery how he is able to bypass this..." Utilize the Fire Flower 35 times. Super Mario Bros./Mario
Mario (Down Taunt) "Mario has always had a wide variety of poses and emotions in the Super Mario Bros. games but nothing is more iconic is when Mario bites the dust. When Mario was hit by an enemy, Mario would make a very sad face, jumps into the air, spins, and falls to the bottom of the screen with the "bum bum bu bu bum" jingle. Now, he taunts opponents with this by giving them false hope that they defeated him." Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Mario
Cosmic Mario "Cosmic Mario is galactic being comprised of a mysterious celestial particles. It's intentions, ideas, and history is a mystery to most. However, it seems to only appear when a Cosmic Comet enters into a particular area. It could be that Cosmic Mario is somehow attached to the Cosmic Comet or that it's merely a galactic coincidence." Complete all of the Mario Character Challenges. Super Mario Bros./Mario
Peach "Princess Peach is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. How she got to be a princess, I have no idea. But I guess wearing a crown signifies that she is princess, apparently. Her subjects consists of tiny little creatures called Toads and she seemingly rules them with a pink thumb. She also happens to be the girlfriend of Mario, but are they ever going to get hitched? She already got married to Bowser once but Peach and Mario just never get to seem to tie the knot. C'mon Mario, buddy!" Complete Classic Mode with Peach. Super Mario Bros./Peach
Peach Blossom "Peach isn't only capable of using her parasol, Toadsworth, picking up vegetables, and using hearts as attacks but she can also use peaches to heal herself. Peach Blossom is her Final Smash where she summons giant peaches from the sky while putting all of her opponents into a deep sleep. She is then free to eat the peaches to heal herself and then clobber her opponents with Smash attacks! It isn't that powerful of a Final Smash but it heals Peach which is a definite plus!" Complete All-Star Mode on Normal or higher with Peach. Items
Daisy & Peach "Mario has Luigi, Bowser has Bowser Jr., and Peach has Daisy! Peach and Daisy are both Princesses of their respective kingdoms yet they often team up in games like Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Peach can transport opponents via heart magic to a magical land where she summons Daisy. Together, they hammer away at opponents with various sports equipment. Then, holding each others hands, they slam it into the opponent; launching them far away with the power of love and friendship!" Collect all Peach trophies. Super Mario Bros./Peach
Peach (Peach Vibe) "Peach really has some control over her emotions...or maybe she actually doesn't. Peach can access her "Peach Vibes" which will alter her stats and effects on players. That is pretty cool! Joy will bring a smile to opponents faces as she bashes them with quicker attacks. She can also float longer than before though she is much lighter and easier to launch! Rage causes her to blow off steam and grow red to the face with anger. Be careful of her fire-based attacks as they can put on the hurt! Though she loses her jump, speed, and defense as a result. Gloom is just pure sadness but her knockback is off the charts! Calm balances all of these stats out to near perfection. That's really fun!" Win 45 matches with Peach. Super Mario Bros./Peach
Peach (Vegetable) "Where a Princess learned how to pluck vegetables like a commoner is beyond me but she seems very skilled in the art of plucking and chucking! Peach can pick up a turnip from the ground and toss it at opponents as a surprise attack. She can even hold onto it and use it for later! That is pretty sneaky devious on her part! Just be careful of those pesky reflectors! Maybe next time I need my garden weeding, I should call Peach!" Pull up over 100 vegetables total. Super Mario Bros./Peach
Peach (Fire) "Peach is on Fire! Well, when she grabs the Fire Flower that is! In Super Mario Bros 3D World,Peach joins in the fun and can become Fire Peach! That is to say she is able to throw out fireballs at opponents much like Mario and Luigi. She trades in her royal pink dresses for a white and red fire-resistant dress. In Super Smash Bros. however, it isn't actually fire-resistant nor does she need to get the Fire Flower in order to get the dress! She must be pretty determined to go to such lengths to look fashionable!" Equip Peach with a Fire-type equipment. Super Mario Bros./Peach
Peach (Purple) "Peach helped Mario in the events of Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars and defeated Smithy who had taken over Bowser's Castle. While kidnapped by Bowser, the tables turned with Smithy's Gang invaded and scattered the players far and wide. The gang member Booster, who found Peach, kidnapped her after falling in love and aimed to marry here. The forceful wedding was broken up by Mario who managed to rescue Peach. From that moment on, Peach joined the group on their adventure. She had several healing and white magic abilities in the game." Complete Adventure Mode without losing a life in less than 10 minutes. Super Mario Bros./Peach
Peach (Up Taunt) "Has Peach always had her trusty parasol? That thing has appeared in more Super Mario Bros. games than I can count. However, she doesn't really seem to use the item outside of appearances. One notable use of the parasol was to shield herself from the suns rays in Super Mario Sunshine and uses it in some her karts and bikes in Mario Kart. I guess the really notable use for the parasol is in Super Smash Bros.! That's S-weet!" Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Peach
Nurse Peach "Aiding a doctor is the only diligent nurse. This is the case with Peach when Doctor Mario dons on his white coat and stethoscope! Clad in a white nurse uniform, the nurse headdress, and all of the articles a nurse usually carries with her. However, she does completely the opposite of what a nurse should do - beating her "patients" to a mushy pulp. Some of us may of had those rough nurses who treat you like a bag of meat. Well, Peach happens to be one of those nurses!" Complete all of the Peach Character Challenges. Super Mario Bros./Peach
Bowser "Bowser is the King of the Koopas. He boasts tremendous power and strength and the ability to blow out fire from his mouth! When the going gets tough, he can also call in his minions such as the Koopa Troopas or Goombas. For some unexplained reason, he has a fascination for Princess Peach and constantly schemes to kidnap her. Bowser is reptilian in appearance but no one is sure what sort of species he is. He is just a Koopa. He is Mario's sworn enemy but maybe it's because he keeps on trying to steal his girl?" Complete Classic Mode on any difficulty. Super Mario Bros./Bowser
Giga Bowser "When Bowser takes the Smash Ball into his own clutches, he becomes the massive Giga Bowser! In this form, he is capable of a wide range of attacks that are the same in his non-giga form but with a more violent touch. This behemoth of a monster performs ranged attacks that can reach half across the stage. Not to mention his strength and power increases by a hundred fold. Ironically, he can even freeze opponents with his up special! That is pretty interesting! Sadly, this form as never appeared in a Super Mario Bros. game but that could change..." Complete All-Star Mode with Bowser on Normal or higher. Final Smashes/Final Smash 1
Bowser Crusher Bowser has the bite to back up his bark but, sometimes, smashing and destroying just doesn't cut and he gets tired. It takes a lot out of Bowser. He can summon a giant magical Mechkoopa that will rage along the stage in Bowser's stead. First appearing in Super Mario RPG: The Seven Stars, this was one of his ultimate attacks. The strength the giant Mechakoopa has is so strong that his entire body becomes one giant weapon; dealing damage anywhere it goes! Bowser can now kick back and watch his minion do all the work." Collect every Bowser trophy. Final Smashes/Final Smash 2
Bowser (Flying Slam) "Bowser is anything but a light weight. He boasts impressive weight, power, and malice. This is most definitely the case with his Flying Slam attack. Picking up an opponent, he vaults into the air with his great powerful legs, spins one with surprising acrobatic prowess, and then falls back to the ground; slamming the opponent right into the ground where it hurts. However, Bowser has to take care to make sure he doesn't plummet them both of the edge of the stage! Now that is a slamming attack!" KO 70 opponents total with Bowser. Super Mario Bros./Bowser
Bowser (Fire Stomp) "Bowser can use his weight to an advantage by stomping forward on the ground. The stomp is so powerful that it causes fire and lava to shoot upwards around him; dealing damage on all sides! However, the attack is so powerful that it causes Bowser to have to shake off the force of his attack if fully charged. This makes him the perfect target for those wanting to exploit his weakness. When he slams his foot down, it launches opponents upwards while engulfed in fire. When performed in the air, he descends down like a meteor and deals extra damage." Use Fire Stomp to meteor an opponent off the ledge 20 times. Super Mario Bros./Bowser
Bowser (Light Blue) "Bowser the Mean Gree...errr.Blue Fighting Machine! Yes, Bowser wasn't always green! There was a very brief time when he was actually blue. Whether it was a mistake from the artists, a debate between developers, or just to make Bowser different - he appeared blue instead of green on the international cover for Super Mario Bros. He seems to like this new color though as it's both nostalgic and pretty cool looking. He is tired of being green, brown, and yellow all of the time!" Defeat Mario, Peach, and Luigi with one single attack. Super Mario Bros./Bowser
Bowser (Green) "Bowser has quite the impressive resume! He has kidnapped damsels in distress, explored the galaxy, been set on fire, raced against the best in a go-kart, been in a party game, participated in the Olympics, and many other adventures. However, one of the ones he actually liked the most wasn't beating Mario to a pulp or stealing Luigi's Stars but was...playing golf? Bowser actually enjoys golf as he pretends the ball is actually Mario and he's hitting it as far as he can. Though he has having to put. This green color scheme is to remember one of his color schemes in Mario Golf." Be hit 8 times with Peach's Side Smash Golf Club. Super Mario Bros./Bowser
Bowser (Up Taunt) "Bowser wasn't always this lumbering, brutish brute. Well, he was but he does enjoy simple and fun things in life. When not kidnapping princesses, invading the Mushroom Kingdom, stealing stars, and playing golf; he likes to unwind in his castle. He likes his coffee black - burnt black and will read the Mushroom Gazette in the morning. In the afternoon, he often does painting classes or sculpts the many Bowser statues in the castle. He even uses Wii Fit U for his yoga exercises! In the evening, he enjoys blood red wine and scorched pig for dinner. That sounds so nice!" Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros/Bowser
Dry Bowser "Dry Bowser is the skull and bones version of the Bowser we all know and hate. He first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. when he was knocked into lava and stripped of his precious scaly flesh. Incapacitated at the moment, his number 2, Bowser Jr. led the campaign against Mario until he was able to fight again! This Dry Bowser not only looks frightening but is a bit different! Instead of creating bright red and orange flames, he creates purple flames instead! That is pretty cool! However, he is still the same Bowser inside!" Complete all of Bowser's Character Challenges. Stages
Rosalina & Luma "Rosalina and her Luma companions live in harmony on the Comet Observatory, in the far reaches of the universe. In Super Mario Galaxy, Rosalina found Mario after he was flung from his own galaxy into the Gateway Galaxy, and she welcomed him aboard. Rosalina has appeared in many games since, as it turns out Rosalina is a skilled racer, golfer and tennis player! She also appears to have a dark and disturbing past, but we won't try and go into that story just yet." Complete Classic Mode with Rosalina & Luma on any difficulty. Super Mario Bros/Rosalina & Luma
Power Star "By the power of the Smash Ball, Rosalina summons a large Power Star that hovers frozen in mid-air. Once it is fully formed, it shoots out several mini-stars which forcefully attack opponents, all while growing larger and larger. Rosalina can throw opponents into the star to rack up a ton of damage! Finally, after it has exerted all its energy, it explodes, leaving opponents dazzled!" Complete All Star Mode with Mario on Normal or higher. Final Smashes/Final Smash 1
Starbit Starstorm "Call upon the power of the Starbits and smite your foes with them! By grabbing a Smash Ball, Rosalina can cast the stage into a storm of red, blue, green, and pink! It may look colorful but those caught in its beautiful path is bound to feel the pain!" Collect all Rosalina & Luma trophies. Final Smahses/Final Smash 2
Rosalina & Luma (Gravitational Pull) "Rosalina can summon items or redirect projectiles aimed at her with a flick of her wand. No worries though as a WiiMote isn't needed for this special attack! Poke balls, food, and even bombs gravitate to her highness. Projectiles such as Mario's trusty Fireball is no match for the gravity she emanates!" Perform Gravitational pull 50 times successfully. Super Mario Bros/Rosalina & Luma
Rosalina & Luma (Star Spin) "In Super Mario Galaxy, Mario met a small tan-coloured Luma who granted him the ability to Star Spin - a helpful offensive move and a platforming godsend. Rosalina couldn't learn it until Super Mario 3D World, but seems to have perfected for this game! Be careful, there is a small delay whilst performing this attack." Collect every type of Luma trophy. Super Mushroom "Touch one of these fun-gus to grow to a massive size! Your attack power will increase, your launch resistance will increase, and your voice will get deeper! (Is that a good thing?) Of course, every rose has its thorn, and you'll be standing out quite a bit during the fight, leaving your foes to pummell you into the dust." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Poison Mushroom "Wait! Don't pick that mushroom up... oops! In the Super Mario Bros. games, this sneaky, foul-tasting mushroom dealt damage to Mario like he was an enemy, but in this game, it shrinks you to the size of a Mini-Mario! Your attack power and launch resistance will drop by quite a bit, and you'll sound like a chipmunk! Never mind, at least you don't have to do much dodging!" Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Super Star "Collect this star and familiar 8-bit chiptune music will play... doo-doo-doo-do-doo-doo-do-doo-do-doo! You're invincible now, so feel free to hammer on foes that once posed threats to you. Of course, you can't damage anyone by running in to them, that's a Mario-series exclusive ability, but just enjoy the satisfaction of being able to wander around the stage without a single worry!" Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Metal Box "Hitting this box turns you into a metal version of yourself! Like the Super Mushroom, your attack will increase and your defence will too. But just like any other alloy, you'll be quite heavy and you'll fall far down if you're launched off. Try not to let anyone else get a meteor smash on you or it's curtains!" Defeat Metal Mario in Adventure Mode/Boss Battles on Difficult. Items/Super Mario Bros.
Bullet Bill "Bullet Bills are normal enemies in the Super Mario series that, despite their name, are rather slow. Mario can just jump on one and it'll have gone! And in the Mario Kart series, collecting a Bullet Bill turns you into a high speed version, tearing down the track at ludicrous speeds. If you pick one up in this game, you too can turn into a Bullet Bill, but mind you don't fly off the stage randomly!" Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Golden Hammer "Much stronger than the regular Hammer, this malleable masher first debuted in Wrecking Crew. While wildly swinging this around, you can float in mid-air like Peach! (Don't ask me how or why, though) And just like the regular Hammer, it can malfunction - but not by having its head fall off. Instead, it becomes a squeaky hammer! I doubt you'll land any attacks with this one..." Unlock Level 3 Challenges Items/Super Mario Bros.
Fire Flower "In Super Mario Bros., Mario and co. could pick up one of these flowers to hurl fireballs. The Mario in this game doesn't need it, but him and the other characters can still use Fire Flowers to their advantage. Holding the attack button while holding this sweet-smelling scorcher has it breathe out fire that can rack up combos quick and fast. You can also throw it, but all that'll happen is a short burn." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Bomb-omb "Whoa, better watch out, or you'll be sent flying! Bob'ombs appear on the battlefield as items, and will act as powerful bombs that can be thrown. However, if you leave them be for too long, they start walking around the battlefield, eventually exploding if they don't hit someone. Be quick enough to grab it, or it'll return the favor to you! Also, in Sudden Death, don't get hit by these." Survive and win Sudden Death by not being hit by Bomb-ombs. Items/Super Mario Bros.
Freezie "This freezing little foe first showed up as an enemy in Mario Bros. As time went by, Freezies became redundant, switched alliances and hey presto, you have a super-functional item in your grasp. Throw this at an opponent to encase them in a good solid chunk of ice. If you attack one yourself, though, well, put it simply. Not all Freezies are on your side." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Hot Head "Just like the Freezie, the Hothead's humble beginnings started off as a rotating spark in Bowser's castles and fortresses in Super Mario World. In this game, you can pick it up and throw it (no harm done this time), and it will rotate around whatever platform it comes into contact with. Hitting it with fire attacks makes it stronger, so if you want a something akin to a SUN, then you might want to Falcon Punch it a few times." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Green Shell "In the Super Mario Bros. series, these shells were dropped by Koopas if you booted them out of them. Later, in Super Mario Kart, Green Shells became a method of attacking opponents, but they could only fly straight forward. These ones are inspired by the Super Mario Bros. series, but unfortunately you cannot ride on them or hop inside them for a quick spin. By the way, I hear a fashion designer Koopa called these shells 'the latest'. Stylish!" Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Banana Peel "Bananas are members of the Musacae family, are grown in at least 107 countries, and their names are possibly derived from a word in Wolof... now, we don't want to get all technical here! These peels do not have faces like in Mario Kart, but nevertheless they do their job well. And by that, I mean... tripping people up. By the way, I'm jealous that Diddy Kong has an endless supply of these things! Where does he all put it!?" Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Soccer Ball "Ah, the beautiful game... but you've never seen it played like this! Attack one of these hexagonal-imprinted balls to set it on fire! It can knocks out not spectators, but opponents, and if you're the one in the way of the blazing sphere, dive sideways!... somehow. Interesting fact: the ability to set footballs on fire was once Toad's ability. Don't believe me? Go play Mario Strikers Charged, then." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
POW Block "The POW Block was just a regular mechanic in the original Mario Bros. If you hit it from below, all the enemies on the screen flipped over. In this game, it won't flip anyone over but it does launch every fighter that's resting their tired legs on the ground. Jump and it won't affect you! Be careful though, three strikes and it's out." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Spiny Shell "AKA the Blue Terror, Blue Shell, Destroyer of Dreams... the legend imprinted on racers in the Mario Kart GP states that once thrown, the Spiny Shell knocks down everyone in its path until it reaches first place, in which it explodes with the force of a bomb. In Super 5mash Bros. 5, it randomly targets anyone on the field and drops down for the kill. If you see this azure monster on the battlefield... *gulp*... get ready to do some running." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Boomerang "This boomerang was hurled by Boomerang Mario in the Super Mario Bros. series, where it was used to collect items like Star Coins from far away. When one appears in the stage in this game, you can throw it at enemies to deal multiple blows, with the power of the throw getting stronger every time you catch it. It's got infinite uses too, as long as you catch it. Sure, you won't be able to attack foes normally, but still!" Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Super Leaf "Pick this up to give your fighter a fuzzy tail and ears! It's not just for cuteness - you can float in the air as well! Now you can dish out attacks as much as you want, all from a safe distance. Of course - you can't float forever. Or attack with the tail for that matter. But hey, at least you'll look cute! Especially if you're playing as Kirby or Jigglypuff!" Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Super Bell "Meow-meow! Pick up this little gem to don a furry cat suit, complete with fluffy ears and tail! To accommodate your new costume, you gain a few new moves - based on cats, of course. Dive, pounce, and claw your way to victory and claim the cat crown! Warning: side effects of this suit include a strong urge to play with a ball of yarn." Ranom Triphy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Double Cherry "One chomp of this cherry and fa-boom! A clone that looks like, behaves like, moves like and attacks exactly like you. This doppelganger can take a multitude of hits before vanishing, but the feeling of being able to control two people at once is amazing! You can create up to five clones, all willing to sacrifice their lives for your own... it's a bit harsh when you think about it." Random Trophy Shop Items/Super Mario Bros.
Birdo "This gender-confused dino first appeared in a game called Doki Doki Panic. He/She/It was introduced to the Mario family when the game was localised as Super Mario Bros. 2. Now, he/she/it appears as an Assist Trophy in this game, shooting flying eggs from his/her/its mouth, just like in his/her/its boss battles. Birdo also appears to be the love interest of Yoshi, but will that be ever truly confirmed?" Unlock Level 3 Challenges Assist Trophy
Wingo "The lover of all things shiny, Wingo stole a Power Star out of the hands of Captain Toad and Toadette while they were out tracking treasure. He is known to have teleportation magic and is capable of producing large gusts of wind that can push even the heaviest of foes back. He uses these powers to his advantage in this game, dive-bombing players and snatching any shiny items off the stage. What a rotter!" Random Trophy Assist Trophy
Lakitu and Spines "Every Mario veteran who has ever lived will probably tell you about their views on Lakitu, and more often than not, they're mixed. Younger fans know him as that guy who does the countdown in Mario Kart and the cameraman in Super Mario 64. Older guys know him as that little swine who constantly throws Spinies - which is the one that appears in this game. Lakitu moves fast and attacks faster, so he can't be killed easily. Hanging on a ledge? Sounds like you're going to be on the receiving end of a sharp spike!" Random Trophy Shop Assist Trophy
Waluigi "Waluigi. What a twisted, vile, despicable evil man. He first appeared in Mario Tennis, debuting as the brains to Wario's brawn, and has appeared in many spinoffs since. In this game, he stomps opponents into the ground, making odd grunting noises as he does, before finishing them off with a whack of his racket (to pay tribute to his origins) or a fierce kick to the face. Fun fact: he was the main villain in a game called Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix, but seriously - who's heard of that game?" Random Trophy Shop Assist Trophy
Goomba "If you went into the dictionary and looked up the definition of the word 'weak', you'd probably find a picture of a Goomba. Despite the vicious fangs it bares, the best it can do is run or simply walk at Mario. Mario can then defeat it with a stomp to the head. Even a whole army of Goombas would just be a minor threat to good ol' Mario. Now if only they had armour..." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Koopa Troopa (Green) "Koopa Troopas are basically Goombas with an extra level of defence. They have shells to retract into when Mario stomps them, but that doesn't stop Mario from kicking them into the nearest abyss. Their green shells indicate they are the least intellectual; if they find a hole, they'll just walk into it without a second thought. Well, at least it's less work for Mario!" Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Koopa Troopa (Red) "Red-shelled Koopa Troopas are usually smarter than their green brethren, as when faced with a cliff, they simply turn around and carry on the other way. Mario can then use this opportunity to carry them to the nearest wall and stomp on them infinitely, generating a ton of 1-ups. The shells of this type of Koopa make fine ammo in Mario Kart, homing in on the nearest racer and knocking them silly. The shells also appeared in the original Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, where they homed in on the nearest fighter." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Big Goomba "You know how the Goombas are usually perceived as weak? Well, not this time. Big Goombas were just simple twists on regular Goombas, as seen in Super Mario Bros. 3's Giant Land or Super Mario 64's Tiny-Huge Island, but they became seperate species in the New Super Mario Bros. series, splitting into two when stomped. Now that's evolution!" Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Piranha Plant "Going down into a sewer may find you trudging amidst the damp and dank, but you're unlikely to find a carnivorous plant down there. In the rare case you do come across one, do not panic. Just throw a fireball at it and carry on your way. Mario deals with these hungry herbs in almost every adventure he goes on, so... think of this paragraph as more of a health and safety warning rather than a trophy description." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Koopa Paratroopa (red and green) "This miraculous sub-species of Koopa has the ability to fly like an eagle using its majestic wings... or lamely bounce up and down. There is little difference between it and its grounded brothers, as it takes just one stomp to have those wings pop off in an instant. Mario sometimes treats them like platforms so he can bounce across large gaps, but seeing as there aren't any in this game, hoping they appear so you can recover isn't your best option." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Wiggler "These docile caterpillars mind their own business, walking back and forth in a forest - until they a get a pair of hefty boots to the head. Then they get SUPER-MAD! They turn red, become angry, and move a whole lot faster, and waiting around for them to stop takes quite a few hours. Don't underestimate the mighty wrath of the Wiggler. They mean BUSINESS." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Shy Guy "From the short stature to the panicked expressions on their masks, you can tell that these little rascals aren't the strongest. But what they lack in appearance, they make up for determination. Take them in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, for instance, as they play roles as brilliant security guards. Also, don't take off their mask or you'll be sorry!" Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Blooper "The royal pest of the seas, Bloopers bob up and down in pursuit of Mario. Finding one above ground was a rare find - a whopping 1000 points! More recently, Bloopers have taken up the role of squirting the screen with ink in Mario Kart, or going on exciting adventures in one of Mario's one-of-a-kind parties." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Big Boo "Boos don't tend to socialise much. For ghosts, they're rather shy, and bigger variants, despite all the extra 'oomph' they have, they are twice as afraid. Once you turn your back, that's when they make their move. A bigger type of Boo is also out there: the austere gaze of the Boohemoth is feared by many." Use the Boo item 30 times. Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Pokey "These towering cacti are made up of several layers, each one posing its own problems. There are different ways to attack it: you can either take out the layers one by one, or aim for the head to finish it off in one go. And you thought the regular ones were bad? Try out the Poison Pokey, found only in Paper Mario. Vile!" Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Dry Bones "Koopas brought back from the dead. Bowser resurrected them, and they became part of his army. Stomping on one doesn't do a thing - they simply put themselves back together. Fire doesn't do damage either. What they REALLY hate is ice, as throwing ice balls will help them chill. Apart from that, they're dead-ly. Make sure you never have a bone to pick with them." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Thwomp "These spiny rocks are rather intelligent. Simply go next to one and it'll crash down as fast as an alarm going off. You can use this to your advantage, sneaking on top of them to reach higher places being a common tactic, and you can Spin Jump to bounce on them like a trampoline. When you think about it, Thwomps aren't all that threatening!" Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Hammer Bros. "Once an Assist Trophy, but now a regular trophy, the Hammer Bro. lives to chuck hammers once again. Serving as pests in the Super Mario games, especially the original Super Mario Bros. world 8-3, Hammer Bros. and it's variants constantly throw some form of projectile, be it a boomerang, fire, or ice. There are even Hammer Bros. who just stand on a platform and fly around! And you better watch out for the fierce Sumo Bro.!" Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.
Chain Chomp "A metallic menace, complete with wooden pole, snapping jaws and a vicious temper. The Chain Chomp lunges at Mario when he gets too close, and then just goes back to bobbing around again with that pole until Mario comes by again. There's always that one ? Block with that really rare power-up hovering where the Chomp roams. Also, anyone remember the giant Chain Chomp from Super Mario 64? That was dungaree filling stuff." Random Trophy Shop Enemies/Super Mario Bros.

Mario (Alt.) "Mario could be a fire fighter with his F.L.U.D.D.! Given to him by Professor E. Gadd, Mario can release a steady stream of water that can push away foes! It is also very useful for erasing graffiti, moving objects, and given people relief on a very hot day! I wonder if Mario's F.L.U.D.D. is the antithesis of the Ink Gun in Splatoon..." Complete Adventure Mode with Mario. Super Mario Bros/Mario
Referee Mario "Mario has been a plumber, a princess rescuer, an artist, a kart driver, a golfer, and a doctor. Little do many known that he also has been a referee! Appearing in Punch-Out!!, Referee Mario signified the start and ending of matches as well as the winner! He looks very dashing in that white button up shirt, bow-tie, and black pants. It's wonder he doesn't destroy them while fighting though." Complete Boss Battles with Mario Super Mario Bros./Mario
Peach (Alt.) "Peach can not only float using her parasol but she drop from the sky like a stealth bomber....parabomber...umbrellabomber. She takes out parasol and uses her momentum and weight to push the parasol down. It actually does more damage when it lands than on the descent downwards. Who would think a parasol and a light weight princess could do so much damage but, hey, this is Super Smash Bros. and anything goes I guess. She can defend herself from attacks from below but it totally vulnerable from attacks from above so watch your head!" Complete Adventure Mode with Peach. Super Mario Bros/Peach
Biker Peach "Zoom zoom! There goes Peach flying on her anti-gravity bike! She is really fast on it and can zoom past her opponents at high speeds! She also looks very stylish while doing it! She is able to take curves tight and ride down slopes at lightning fast speeds! However when she jumps into a go-kart, she wears her usual dress so not that stylish I guess. Regardless, she always looks good riding that motorcycle. Peach really has a good fashion sense!" Complete Boss Battle Mode with Mario. Super Mario Bros/Peach
Bowser (Alt.) "Bowser's Bowser Bomb is quite a formidable attack. Bowser uses his weight to come crashing down. Anyone unlucky enough to not get out of the way in time is at the mercy of his royal....buttocks. When he lands, he can send shock waves that throw players up into the sky. It is such a quick but powerful attack that it should be illegal but...Bowser would still do it anyways. He really doesn't follow the law much, doesn't he? Just be careful of him crashing down to the ground!" Complete Adventure with Bowser Super Mario Bros./Bowser
Wedding Bowser "Here comes the Koopa! All dressed in.....OK, nothing rhymes with Koopa that could fit in there. In Super Paper Mario, he was forced into marriage with Princess Peach by Count Bleck though it was just a plot by the nefarious Count Bleck in order to rule the world. Wait...this costume looks a little similar. Didn't it appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? If I recall, I mentioned that "This might just be the last time we ever see Bowser in a tuxedo." I guess I was wrong, wasn't I?" Complete Boss Battle Mode with Bowser. Super Mario Bros/Bowser
Rosalina & Luma (Alt.) Coming soon Complete Adventure Mode with Rosalina & Luma. Super Mario Bros/Rosalina & Luma

Toadette (Alt.) Coming soon Complete Adventure with Captain Toad or Tosadette Super Mario Bros./Captain Toad
Classic Toadette Coming soon Complete Boss Battle Mode with Captain Toad or Toadette. Super Mario Bros/Captain Toad
Balloon Mario "Mario's looking a bit full today! Or maybe because he's found a magic balloon! Yes, the P-Balloon, seen in Super Mario World, inflates the portly plumber to a pleasingly plump size, allowing him to bypass many obstacles, and the annoying level, Tubular. In Super Mario 64 DS Mario could bob about again - just with a Power Flower instead." Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Mario
Vanish Luigi "Luigi is Mario's younger brother, and a total coward when it comes to ghosts. Despite this, he is able to gain their powers through the Power Flower, and as an intangible mess, he can bypass previously unavailable walls. You never know, a Power Star could be anywhere! Luigi can even pass through mirrors in this state. I wonder what science has to say about this?" Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./?
Pi'illo Island "In this sleepy stage, fighters get to travel to different places located on the eternally slumbering Pi'illo Island. You start off in Pi'illo Castle before moving on to Pi'illo Blimport, Mount Pajamaja and other such places. Also, it's not just reality you can enter! The Dream World variants of the areas contain floatier jumps and weird staring Luigis. Whose dream is this?" Put over 38 characters asleep with Jigglypuff. Super Mario Bros./Stages
3D Land 2 "This stage is based off World 2-4 of Super Mario 3D Land, which was comprised of flipping platforms that switched side (and colour) when Mario jumped. A similar setup is present here: the wooden blocks, the Baddie Boxes, the Stingbies, they're all here. But no time to reminisce! This stage autoscrolls and won't stop until the match is over, so keep an eye on the clock and keep your wits about you." Unlock all Super Mario Bros. characters. Super Mario Bros./Stages
Forest Course "This pretty little bunker-filled grassland is not only a golf course but also a fighting arena! In the background, various Mario enemies will fire golf balls at the action, so it's your job to dodge them. Down below you, you can see a couple of other Mario allies and villains having a friendly game of golf together. If they get a hole in one, everyone gets a stat boost! Fore!" Unlock all of the Mario golfer trophies. Super Mario Bros/Stages
Mario's Cap "If you're playing a level of Super Mario 64 DS and want to be Mario without going back to the castle, Mario's Cap will turn you into the red plumber himself! You'll gain his wall-jumping abilities, his famous kicking motions and his balloon bobbing! Now, if only we could get our hands on that... I'll phone my milliner." Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Wario Key

"The key to unlocking Wario! You obtain this W-emblemed prize for beating Chief Chilly. You can then go to the entrance to the Rec Room to swap out characters. Wario himself has the massive ability to punch hard, kick hard, and ground pound hard. Having him gulp down a Power Flower causes him to turn metallic, allowing him to walk underwater."

Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Rabbit (Yellow, Pink, Orange and Green) "Catch those rabbits! In Super Mario 64 DS, different coloured rabbits appear dotted around Peach's Castle, depending on who you play as. They're tricky little fellers, and they all claim that they're definitely NOT the fastest. Or, if you're playing as Yoshi, then the rabbits will kindly have to remind you that they're 'not chow'. In the original Super Mario 64, only one rabbit was present, by the name MIPS." Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Big Bob-omb "Big Bob-omb is the boss of Bob-omb Battlefield from Super Mario 64. You have every reason to fear him, from his large size to his awfully fancy moustache. His favourite weapon of defence is throwing his own minions at you, which doesn't stop you from swallowing them and throwing them right back at him. Or, if you're a plumber, just grab him by the behind and throw him on his rump." Complete Target Blast with over 55 characters. Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Whomp "Whomps are such foolish creatures. They wait until some plumber gets in the way, and then jump up - and fall flat on their faces. Mario can then give them a buttstomp to the back and they're finished. Even their own king isn't afraid to try it! Also, they were probably inspired by the 'nurikabe' of Japanese folklore. Mystifying stuff!" Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Goomboss "Yoshi was in for a surprise when he entered the Mario portrait in Peach's bedroom! It led him to a goopy swamp where Goomboss, leader of the Goombas, was holding Mario captive! Feeling oppressed by the way his kind were treated, he engaged battle with Yoshi, but ultimately lost. And the Goombas never rebelled again... we hope." Defeat over 100 Goombas Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Chief Chilly "With Yoshi, Mario and Luigi all safe and sound, you'd think that now would be the time to save Princess Peach. But despite his greediness, selfishness and other unlikable personality quirks, Wario still had to be rescued. Chief Chilly, chief of the Chill Bullies, had captured Wario in an argument over moustaches. Luigi, despite his cowardice, went through the mirror and had to rescue him." Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Eyerok "Two weird floating hands with eyes on them make up Eyerok. He appears as a boss in Shifting Sand Land, guarding one of the vital Power Stars. Mario awakened him while searching for it; he was angered and attacked. Mario swiftly defeated him by punching his eyes whenever they were exposed, which I guess is what you get if you try to push a plumber into quicksand." Collect over 40 Super Mario Bros. trophies Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Coins (Yellow, Red, and Blue) "In Mario's world, coins aren't just used for currency. They have healing powers too, but what type of coin that is collected determines how much health is restored. Yellow coins heal one wedge of health, red coins heal two wedges, and blue coins heal five wedges. Coins also restore Mario's health if he's stuck underwater and the surface is too far away. And collecting 100 coins in a level will reveal a special surprise - we're not telling, though." Collect over 1,000 coins on Golden Plains Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Ending Cake "Happiness has been brought to the Mushroom World again, and as a celebration, Peach bakes a cake for her saviours - Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, and Wario. A double-decker, the cake is lined with cherries and adorned with white icing. At the top is an icing star, with mini-figurines of the four heroes and Peach. If that's not dedication to baking, I don't know what is." Complete All-Star Mode with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and Wario. Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 DS
Toadsworth "Old man Toadsworth is an elderly 'shroom who was Peach's caretaker when she was a baby. Nowadays, he looks out for her still, coming along to trips with her to places such as Isle Delfino, or generally trying to show good sportsmanship. When he's not getting flustered or attempting to set up parties or other such menial tasks, he likes to play a game of mah-jongg, as seen in the Japan-only Yakuman DS. Tally-ho!" Randomized Super Mario Bros./Characters
Monty Tank "The fierce Monty Tank is a high-ranking member of the Monty Mole brigade. An expert in Bullet Bill artillery, Mario takes him on in World 6 of New Super Mario Bros., a rocky mountain range with great places to fire weapons. Defeating him takes skill - hop on the Bullet Bills he fires, reach him, and stomp. He likes to shake things up by changing how tall his tank is, so it won't be easy for veterans!" Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Enemies
Shroob Planet "The home of the Shroob species from Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. During the prologue of that game, it is explained that the planet, due to it being shaped like (and probably being) a mushroom, is dying and getting withered. As a result, they stumble upon the Mushroom World while searching for a new planet, but their invasion proves unsuccessful. It is unknown what happens to the planet after that, but let us prepare for a Shroob invasion if my hypothesis is correct..." Random Trophy Shop Super Mario Bros./Mario and Luigi
Shroob "Alien-like species who resemble mushrooms. Armed with ray guns, they arrive in the Mushroom World in search of a new planet. Once there, their monarch, the Princess of the planet, takes over the crown, while the regular creatures as seen in other Mario titles get 'Shroob-ified'. They even drain the life force out of Toads for fuel use! Disgraceful conduct, disgraceful." Random Super Mario Bros./Mario and Luigi
Fawful "HELLO. TROPHY WRITER IS OFF SICK TODAY, SO FAWFUL BECOMES TROPHY WRITER NOW. FAWFUL STARS IN SERIES ABOUT ANNOYING PLUMBERS AND HE HATES THAT. HE GIVES THEM THE MUSTARD OF THEIR DOOM BUT FAILS! FAWFUL THEN USES CORE TO ENTER FAT TURTLE'S BODY, BUT IS DEFEATED BY ANNOYING PLUMBERS AGAIN. WAIT... NO MORE SPACE? I HAVE FURY!" Mario (Alt.) "Once Mario dons on the Flying Cap, he can soar to higher heights. The Flying Cap can propel Mario very high into the sky though it comes with a price. Once it reaches its timer, Mario will plummet to the ground with a "AHHHHHHHHAHAHAHHAHHHHH!" This is certain death for our heroic mascot unless he can land himself before the timer." Complete Adventure Mode with Mario. Super Mario Bros/Mario
Dr. Mario "Dr. Mario has proven himself to be a resourceful and talented doctor though he is also a terror on the battlefield. Years of proving himself capable of handling himself though took a toll on him so he decided to hang up his doctor coat and join his brother, Mario. While the two don't have much differences, Dr. Mario can still shoot out those capsules!" Complete Boss Battles with Mario Super Mario Bros./Mario
Peach (Alt.) "Peach used to pull out Toad to counter attacks that would of damaged her but now she pulls out the poor, old Toadsworth. Where did Toad go? Maybe he got sick and tired of getting pulled out all of the time and decided to walk his own path> Regardless, Toadsworth is now at the mercy of the fighters as Peach will pull him out in order to do damage to opponents. When an opponents attack and Toadsworth connects, he releases his old, musty spores at the opponent. Ewww...it's like that smell you get from old people combined with how a Toad would smell like..." Complete Adventure Mode with Peach. Super Mario Bros/Peach
Sporty Peach "Peach is a mainstay within the Super Mario Bros. sports games alongside Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and Toad. Her sporty outfits changes depending on the sport but she usually keeps the same style - a ponytail pink sleeveless tank, pink shorts, and a severe case of confidence and style! Peach can do it all - play soccer, bowling, baseball, tennis, golf, basketball, and even track and field. She is often cast as a light weight character with medium power but aided with powerful hearts! She is also pretty fast and nimble, too! I guess it helps not wearing a puffy dress!" Complete Boss Battle Mode with Mario. Super Mario Bros/Peach
Bowser (Alt.) "Chain Chomp is an attack that allows Bowser to use the Chain Chomp to swing it high above his head. The heavy ball is both heavy and large and launches opponents high into the air when it connects. This is just a testament of Bowser's impressive strength in that he can lift the Chain Chomp and swing it around and around. He can also release it which sends it crashing forward into anyone unlucky enough to be caught in it's path. Wait...this is Super Smash Bros., right? Not Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games?" Complete Adventure with Bowser Super Mario Bros./Bowser
Bowser 64 "Once upon a time, Bowser looked a lot stranger than what he does now. Back in the 64-bit days, Bowser looked like a gigantic baby-version of himself with his small body and big head. In Super Mario 64, he invaded Peach's Castle and turned Princess Peach into a painting. Mario had to navigate the castle in search of Princess Peach and put a stop to Bowser's evil schemes. Fighting Bowser was always such as rush back than but....he looks kind of harmless now!" Complete Boss Battle Mode with Bowser. Super Mario Bros/Bowser
