The Statue Leaf is an item that is first seen in Super Mario 3D Land. It functions similarly to the Super Leaf and Tanooki Suit, except it allows the player to turn into a statue. Unlike the latter, however, it will not grant the player the ability to fly or transform on the ground. Compared to the Super Leaf, it has a slightly more jagged and pitted stony appearance.
It is also a usable item in some Mario Kart games. It functions like the Super Leaf does, except it allows the player to temporarily turn other players into statues, rendering them unable to move for a few seconds.
