Splatoon + Bomberman: Inkplosion is a crossover between Splatoon and Bomberman. It was released ??/??/?? on the Nintendo Switch.
Plot[]
After an inccedent involving DJ Octavio and a spaceship, the Bomberman universe ends up meeting the Splatoon universe. Seeing there love for "Turf Wars", the Bombermen naturally assume they are an evil kind and attack. The Inklings also think the Bombermen are evil due to there love for explosives. Not too long after, both sides get into war, both using an Ink bomb to defeat one another. This has gone on for long enough. Now, the Squid Sisters and the White Bomber both agree they must work together, alongside Agent 3, to stop this war. It gets crazier from there, trust me...
Gameplay[]
Splatoon + Bomberman has a combonation of both games style: like Splatoon, both team compete to cover the map with the most Ink. The team that has covered the most floors with Ink win. The Maps are also disigned to look like Splatoon maps. However, the gameplay is more similar to Bomberman, with an overhead view. Instead of Ink Guns, each team use Ink Bombs, which cover a short space of floor once exploded. You have two options with the bombs:
- Place them down and wait for it to explode (Bigger splashzone, longer startup)
- Throw it overhead (Shorter Splashzone, shorter startup)
Both teams play as either Team Bombermen or Team Inklings. Both have diffrent ways of travel. For example, for the Inklings, they can turn into there Squid Form. For the Bomber Bots, they can ride there Louies. For the sake of balancing, both act the exact same: you can only use them for a short time.

These robots's job is to protect the universe via blowing up any evil that attacks. A little bit of damage is done, but if the universeis at stake, it's a risk they'll take. Recently, there fighting the Inkling "Menance" in order to stop there persumibally evil ways and save this world. |

It's unknown how Pliskin ended up in the Splatoon Universe. What we do know is that he has decided to make a fewquick bucks by selling weapons and gear to both the Bombermen and the Inklings. He does wish this war would end, but until then he thinks selling a few things wouldn't hurt. |

These cousins are the most popular musicians in the Splantoon Universe, and are also secretly agents fighting against the Octarian threats. They know this war has gone on long enough, and are working with the White Bomber and there top agent (Agent 3) to stop this war. |

White Bomber Bomberman Universe |
The White Bomber is the most powerful and popular Bomber in the Bombermen. He's couragious ans strong, always willing to fight for whats right. He wants this war to finally end, and so works together with the Squid Sisters and Agent 3 to put a halt to this war. |

DJ Octavio Splatoon Universe |
DJ Octavio is the leader of the Octarian Clan, a bunch of Octopus-like creatures bent on world domination. He had an unkowing hand in crossing both universes and causing this war, and while he didn't intend this, he is very good at improvising. Who knows what he's plotting... |

Bombs[]
Normally, both teams use the standard Splat Bomb. However, during battle, a random special bomb may spawn that'll let whoever picks it up use it.

These bombs are the standard Bomb in the game. They can either be placed down or thrown, and they'll cover a small amount of the stage. |

The Suction Bomb | These Bombs, once thrown/placed and exploded, activate a weak gravitational pull that will try to suck others in. Warning: will suck up user as well. |

The Splitter Bomb | These Bombs, once they explode, split into 4 other bombs that make weaker explosions. These explosions may be weaker, but cover a lot. |

The Trap Bomb | These Bombs, once they combust, spread a sticky goo on the floor. This'll severly slow down players who walk in it, opening them for attack. |
Story Mode Missions[]
In story mode, you can play as either White bomber or Agent 3. The goal is to complete missions in order to bring peace to both sides. The more missions you beat, the closer you get to abolishing the War altogether.
