The Spike Mushroom is a new type of Mushroom power-up that first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. D.I.Y. They turn Mario into Spike Mario and allow him to throw giant Spike Balls at enemies, which he can only throw one at a time just like a Spike.

An item that turns you into a spike, so you can throw spikes at someone.

Turns you into Spike Mario/ Luigi/ Orange Toad/ Wario/ Blue Toad/ Waluigi and lets you throw Spike Balls.
