Sonic Sigma is a video game for the Wii and Nintendo DS that is currently under development. It is slated to be a crossover game, with appearances from Nintendo games and more. A trailer was shown at IGN recently, showing more characters, a few levels, and a release date of Fall 2009. The game was even rated Everyone 10+ by the ESRB for Crude Humor and Mild Fantasy Violence.
Gameplay[]
The game has 2D gameplay and is described as a mix of Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic Rush. The Wii version has 3D graphics using a similar engine to Super Smash Bros. Brawl, while the DS version's graphics mirror those of the Sonic Advance trilogy. Each level is split into three acts, the first act is that of simply getting to the end of the stage, the second act pits the player against a boss robot at the end, and the third act is where you fight Dr. Eggman in a robot in order to free animals from a Prison Egg. Cutscenes will be text based similar to Sonic Unleashed and the Sonic Rush games.
