Sonic Rush Saga (Japanese: ソニックラッシュ佐賀 Sonikku Rasshu Saga) is an American-Japanese anime television series developed by Kayla Martin of Kaji Productions, along with the Sonic Team and A-1 pictures. Sonic Rush Saga is the sixth animated series based on the Sonic franchise, following Sonic Boom. The anime was broadcasted in both North America and Japan on the same date (different timezones), which was January 12, 2016. The European version of the show was broadcasted on January 23, 2016.

The anime is aimed for both boys and girls around the ages of 10-15, but almost anyone can enjoy it. It is centered around the classic crew Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and a new part of their team, Cream, along with their old friends form the Sol Dimension Blaze and Marine, who live their everyday life fighting bad guys, having fun, and living it to the fullest.

The story takes place as an alternate version of Sonic 3D Rush revolving around Sonic and his friends who all live on Mobius. In the first episode, Blaze arrives on Mobius after the Sol emeralds are shattered, and ever since then, the friends have been hanging out together. The anime sort of follows a storyline, in the middle of it are funny, awesome experiences. Most of the characters live in the city of Mobotropolis, excluding Cream and Vanilla, who live more in a rural area not too far away from the city by itself. The characters are usually there or at the Hangout, which is actually an old cafe that Amy rented. The show is very comedic yet adventurous, giving you a thrill.
