Anniversary Teaser

Sonic Boomerations is the sequel to Sonic Generations. It celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. It releases in the Summer of 2017 for Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Playstation Vita and 3DS.

Synopsis[]

Dr. Eggman is back with a vengeance. He revives something and discovers another thing. He also teams up with others for help. Can the Sonics save the world this time?

Plot[]

It's been about five years since Classic and Modern Sonic teamed up, to restore time and defeat Eggman. Classic Sonic is a bit older, way after meeting Amy and Knuckles. There hasn't been any serious trouble since that fight, and Robotnik disappeared for a while. Sonic and friends find out why Robotnik has been gone for a while, the Time Eater has been revived, and now seeks revenge. In the next era, Adventure Sonic is about seven to eight years older than Classic Sonic. This Sonic is after Shadow the Hedgehog and before Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). He never met the Time Eater, but when encountering it, it thinks he's Modern Sonic, and attacks him. The next era, Modern Sonic is about eight to nine years older than Adventure Sonic. This Sonic is after Sonic Lost World, where he's with Tails and Amy having fun. The Time Eater appears and attacks them, but it succeeds and knocks them unconscious. In the final era, Boom Sonic is one year older than Modern Sonic. He is trying to stop one of the many villains, and notices something new. Eggman has hatched another scheme, and has a new 'friend'. It was the Dimension Eater and it had a cage in its hand. Sonic stopped it before it could cause damage and released whatever was in the cage. It was the other Sonics. Now they had to work together to stop Eggman from taking over the worlds.

Sonic the Hedgehog[]

Classic Sonic has the gameplay style as he did in Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles. He now has the Twin Spin Attack from S3&K. He has a voice, so when he jumps onto an enemy or gets hit, he'll actually say something. The Super Sonic Peelout is an unlockable upgrade for this Sonic.

Adventure Sonic has the same gameplay style as he did in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. He also has the Triangle Jump and Blue Tornado attack from Sonic Heroes. No upgrades to find this time around, he has all of his abilities from the start. The Rocket Accel is an unlockable upgrade for this Sonic.

Modern Sonic has the boost style gameplay as he did Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, and Sonic Generations. He does not have the parkour ability anymore as it was given to someone else. He can also gain boost energy from enemies and rings. This Sonic however, cannot use the Spin Dash because of the Boost. The Air Boost is an unlockable upgrade for this Sonic.

Boom Sonic has the main series gameplay of Sonic Lost World (since he was slow in Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric). He has the parkour ability and can use the Dash Magnet to attract rings. This Sonic can use the Spin Dash and multi targeting Homing attack, and use his Enerbeam to latch onto rails. The Power Stomp is an unlockable upgrade for this Sonic.

Miles "Tails" Prower[]

Classic Tails has the gameplay style as he did in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles. He can fly for a short period of time and gets tired. The Infinite Flight is an unlockable upgrade for this Tails.

Adventure Tails has the gameplay style as he did in Sonic Adventure and somewhat Sonic Heroes. He has his Tail Spin, Spin Attack, Flight, Homing Attack, and his Dummy Ring Bombs with him. The Rhythm Badge is an unlockable upgrade for this Tails.

Modern Tails doesn't really have a gameplay style in the Modern Games (since Sonic the Hedgehog 2006). He has the Spin Attack, Flight, Dummy Ring Bombs, and Energy Blasters. The Thunder Shoot is an unlockable upgrade for this Tails.

Boom Tails has his Flight, Enerbeam, and Homing Attack. He usually uses his mechs to destroy enemies and solve puzzles. His tools can be of use as well. The Tail Whip is an unlockable upgrade for this Tails.
