Snow White is the adoptive daughter of Queen Aoife, and stepsister of Rapunzel. Gifted with magic that allows her to persuade others to do her bidding, Snow has taken over the Dwarf Forest, becoming a ruler named The Mistress.
Physical Appearance[]
Snow is a beautiful 17 year old, often renowned by the residents of the Arthurian Kingdom as "the fairest in all the land". She has dark skin and commonly wears blood red lipstick. Her eyes are also blood red, and she wears eyeliner. Snow has curly white hair leading halfway down her back.
As The Mistress, Snow wears a gold leaf crown and a golden choker around her neck, with a red jewel embedded. Her light brown jacket has blue sleeves and a lower half, remaining unzipped and the sleeves folded up. Snow wears a white shirt under her jacket, and a fur cape over it. She wears light brown pants and boots, with the boots being topped by white fur.
Occasionally, Snow wears golden face paint in dot patterns.
Backstory[]
Snow's life before becoming royalty remains unknown. However, it's confirmed that Aoife adopted Snow after seeing a great potential in her, and pushed her to perfect her magic. Aoife had been abusing Snow long before marrying Arthur.
Snow very quickly warmed up to her new life and family, hoping to get a chance to escape her mother's abusive behaviour. Now that Snow had the option, she found herself avoiding her mother much more often. In turn, this drove a gap between Snow and Aoife that could not have existed when they were living on their own. As Snow grew more confident in her new life, she sometimes disobeyed her mother, even using her magic on rare occasions. However, this helped neither of the two of them, making Aoife's behaviour even worse. Snow sought refuge in her stepsister, Rapunzel, though Rapunzel wasn't as eager to have a sister. Snow begged Rapunzel to teach her how to defend herself - without letting on her reasons. When Aoife found out, she forced Snow to use her magic on Arthur to convince him that Rapunzel attacked her.
Snow lived for months with the guilt of sentencing her stepsister to a tower. She was under stress, trying to keep up her curse on Arthur. Eventually, the curse broke, and Arthur realised what he had done, blaming Aoife. Snow was able to keep him under the delusion that he couldn't rescue his daughter from the tower, however. The family was broken apart.
A few weeks before Rapunzel broke free of her tower, Snow was sent to the Dwarf Forest with the task of taking it over in order to prevent Rapunzel from getting through. However, she was not allowed to leave without a choker which allowed Aoife to contact her. The dwarves are naturally welcoming to visitors, so it was easy for Snow to hypnotise a few of them. When Snow received news that her mother had found an artifact to make her job easier, Snow sent Happy to retrieve it. Snow used the golden harp to curse the crops of the forest. As the dwarves are a largely agricultural race, she had taken over the forest in no time. Snow took up residence in the massive Gaia Tree, and the dwarves took to calling her The Mistress.
Rapunzel eventually made her way to the Dwarf Forest, and was shocked to see what Snow had become, taking her for a ruthless dictator. Snow brought Rapunzel to Sneezy, the medic, to fix her up, leaving Grumpy behind. After Sneezy healed Rapunzel, the two reconciled their relationship. While Snow may have been under orders to lock Rapunzel in a dungeon, she knew how important Rapunzel's hair was to Aoife. Using her magic, Snow convinced Rapunzel to chop off her hair, and gave her a map to the one person who might help her bring Aoife to justice - Jack.
A few days after reuniting with her stepsister, Maleficent showed up in the Dwarf Forest, making a scene in the Gaia Tree. Snow confronted the Black Witch, her confidence not faltering whatsoever. Eventually, she defeated Maleficent with a single word - "Stop." Maleficent, thrown in the dungeon meant for Rapunzel, ate an apple that she had picked earlier, putting her under The Mistress's control.
Personality[]
Snow is a survivor. Like her stepsister, Snow hates feeling helpless, and revels in positions of power. She has a lot of baggage that she carries around, and tries her best to leave it behind. She knows how powerful her magic is, and such is not scared of anybody, except her mother. Snow knows her way around words, and can twist people into doing nearly anything, even without using her magic.
Snow is living in the lap of luxury, with an entire forest at her disposal, and she makes the most of it. After being treated terribly for most of her life, she doesn't feel bad about using the dwarves as mindless slaves. Regardless, she embraces her role as The Mistress, and governs the forest, as well as taking part in traditional dwarf ceremonies.
Abilities[]
Snow has persuasion magic, which allows her to force others to do her bidding with only a few simple words. It is a skill that she can freely choose to utilise, though that is a skill that took time to master. Her magic can work with specific commands, such as telling somebody to let go of something, or manipulating their mindset. Manipulation of somebody's mindset - like convincing Arthur that Rapunzel attacked her - takes up a significant portion of Snow's energy, without a curse being placed. However, Snow cannot place curses without an enchanted instrument to assist her, such as the golden harp she used to curse the Dwarf Forest. There's currently no known way to break Snow's influence, as it is speculated by Maleficent that her influence will still live on if she dies.
