Skylanders: Psychic Squadron is the fifth game in the popular Skylanders series. It will be released on October 2015 and will be developed by Vicarious Visions. It will be for the Wii U, the Nintendo 3DS, the PS4, the Xbox One,  the Pyrohedron, and the Cryogon. As Kaos is now in a trap for eternity, there's a new villain in this game- a sorcerer named Psyko.

New Features

Skylanders: Psychic Squadron introduces 50 new Skylanders in the game. 20 are regular core Skylanders, 10 are Trap Masters, and 20 are the newest type of Skylander- the Psychic Psoldier. Psychic Psoldiers can lift up extremely heavy things, open up Psychic gates, and can perform mind-bending puzzles to advance through the game. There are also 44 returning Skylanders from the first 4 games. If you play as trappable villains from Trap Team in this game, each villain gets 2/3 new attacks to use. Persephone can switch their attacks. Since Kaos is now in a trap, the main antagonist is Psyko, a sorceror bent on taking Skylands.

Plot

After the defeat of Kaos, everybody thought Skylands was safe. However, they were wrong. A new villain was looming, the more-serious sorcerer known as Psyko. With the help of the ever-popular Flynn and the adventurous tomboy Tessa, Portal Masters must fight with the Skylanders and Trappable Villains to defeat this threat.
