Skull Kids are beings that appear from the Legend of Zelda series. Apparently, they have no face.

In the Legend of Zelda series

A single Skull Kid debuted in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina, where he would run away from Link, if approached. They later would appear, more prominently in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, where a Skull Kid is the main villain, as he has been taken over by Majora's dark magic, by wearing Majora's Mask.

Another Skull Kid appears in the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, where one guides Link to where the Master Sword wold be.

In Super Smash Bros. Mania

Skull Kids appear in Super Smash Bros. Mania, as an Assist Trophy. When released, a Skull Kid will start playing their flute (or Deku Pipes). When any smasher, including the releaser, the Skull Kid will make them fall asleep, by playing Zelda's Lullaby. The smashers will also gain damage while asleep. Strangely, if Zelda walks near him, she will only fall asleep, and not take any damage.
