Silver the Hedgehog (often shortened as Silver) is a startable playable character in Sonic Super Battle and he's considered to be the leader in Team Future in Story Mode, alongside with Blaze the Cat and Chaos. Silver is a hedgehog with psychokinectic powers who can control every living thing with his own mind. He was mistaken before Sonic was named to be the fearous Iblis Trigger, according to Mephilles and then became friends with him. He has a strong friendship with Blaze, since she also has pyrokinectic moves. In this game, they meet Chaos in the past, thanks to the Chaos Control. He's already confirmed since development and playable in the demo. Silver's fighting style is the Bait & Punish archetype.
Silver's voiceclips are recorded by Quinton Flynn, the main voice actor since Sonic Free Riders, and Daisuke Ono for the japanese version since Sonic the Hedgehog 2006.
Silver's Super Finisher Move is Super Psychic Shock.
Silver ranks the 8th place out of 40th (A) in the current tier list behind AiAi and after Blaze the Cat, placing him at the top of high tier list, ranking as a high tier character.
